I needed some authentic Canon ink and it arrived as described. The packaging was in perfect, sealed condition - exactly as you would buy straight from Canon. The ink works wonderfully. I am very happy with my experience with The Ink People. The Canon ink, packaging, delivery time and price all 10 out of 10. Thank you.

Ordered new cartridges, Saturday morning, bank holiday Monday cartridges arrived Tuesday morning. Perfect.

I had an awful experience with The Ink People and would strongly advise everyone to avoid this company. The ink was advertised as new, but when my order arrived, one of the cartridges was already open and clearly used.

When I contacted them by phone, the unprofessionalism was shocking. They actually tried to convince me that it was still a new cartridge, just “opened but usable.” After some arguing, they finally agreed to send me a return label.

I returned the item immediately, only for them to tell me later that they couldn’t issue a refund because my PayPal wasn’t working—which was a blatant lie. I had to escalate the matter directly through PayPal, and after two months of back-and-forth and silence from The Ink People, PayPal eventually forced them to issue the refund.

This company’s behavior is dishonest, evasive, and unprofessional from start to finish. They wasted my time, tried to mislead me, and only refunded me when they were compelled to. In my opinion, The Ink People should be investigated for fraudulent business practices.

Avoid at all costs.

I recently purchased a printer and was very disappointed. The printer arrived clearly used, despite being advertised as new. The box had been opened, and there were clear signs of previous use. To make matters worse, the advertised ink bottles were missing.

When I first contacted the seller, I was told it was not their mistake, which resulted in me wasting further time having to prove otherwise. This should not have been necessary. Only after sending a follow-up email did they finally agree to refund me and cover the return postage.

Although I did eventually receive a refund, the process was unnecessarily stressful and time-consuming. Based on this experience, I would not recommend purchasing from The Ink People.

Hp302 combi ordered and delivered but the warranty date on the outer packaging had been removed, item returned for refund which was eventually given after many emails to and from this supplier

Avoid this company.

This is the first time I have purchased from them, and today I received two Canon cartridges. I ordered two XL cartridges, but they sent one regular size (L) and one XL.

When I contacted their customer service through the chat facility, the representative claimed that Canon had made the switch, which did not make any sense to me. They then suggested, "Please use them; they will print just like the old XL."

I found the entire exchange quite surreal and they don't seem to want to fix the situation.

I RETURNED BECAUSE OUT OF DATE INK WILL MESS YOUR PRINTER UP AND INVALIDATE ANY WARRENTY. THREE WEEKS AFTER THEY RECEIVED RETURN STILL NO REFUND.

Bought ink cartridges that were declared to be opened. I was OK with that but 2 of the cartridges arrived with warranty dates back as far as 2019.

I first asked for replacements but was simply was told they would be fine! That's their opinion only as I wouldn't be happy to put that cartridge in my printer.

I therefore requested a full refund under the distance selling regulations (as I had bought online directly from their website).

Item was returned by me at my own cost.

Receipt acknowledged when they said they would be sending replacements to me.

This was not what I requested which I pointed out to them but they had not delayed in sending the new goods.

While the new cartridges are better than originally ordered ie all fully boxed and with warranty dates into the future, the point is my right to a refund was ignored.

At this point I was faced with the prospect of taking them to the Small Claims court to gain my refund, extra hassle I didn't want.

My advice would be to avoid although their prices seemed good. If I were buying from them again I would buy through Ebay or Amazon who will ensure your rights to a refund are not ignored!

My canon cartridge order sent late yesterday afternoon and arrived first-thing this morning. Wonderful service! All carts were correct and perfect. Price was attractive. Invoice showed the VAT which is great for my business. Never used them before so they'll be my go-to supplier in the future.

Great service. I ordered on 5th April and receive my item on 8th April. Very pleased with it. Ref WEB4073.

Very bad customer service.
Backwards and forwards with emails.
Charged twice for postage and also I had to pay again for sending the item back to them.
I would strongly suggest avoid at all cost.
Be very careful when ordering with these people.
You are better off ordering on Amazon or elsewhere where rights of the customer and consumer are protected and you can return item even if u change your mind without any penalties.

I ordered a pack of 4 HP 364 ink cartridges as I thought the price was reasonable. What arrived was, not a box but 4 individual cartridges in a padded envelope with a receipt stating the expiry date was 2017 (3 years ago). There was nothing in the advertised product on their website to say these were expired items and, had I known this I would not have purchased the item when for a few pound more I could have had something properly functioning rather than ink which has dried up.

I ordered a HP 62 pack which includes 1 XL black and 1 XL colour.
The Ink people sent not the box although that is what was invoiced. They sent 1 62 black and 162 coloured on the website for 20 pond each.
. Also on the website a normal box of 1 coloured and 1 black for 35 pound.
For the 2 normal cartridges sent they charged 75 pound.
The person on the phone treated me as an idiot and said 75 pound was a normal price for 2 4ml normal cartridges - I am a Chartered Accountant. When I said I would contact Trust pilot - he said no no no and offered a refund - the wrong cartridges are back with him
and now waiting for the refund of 75 pound plus postage 10 pounds

Orderered a HP300 combo ink set off amazon on Sunday night, as ran out of ink for eBay / Amazon business. Arrived exceptionally fast on Tuesday - first thing on the morning via the postie.
Dare I say even quicker than Amazon couriers.

I have ordered Brother LC900 Ink Cartridges twice from this company through Amazon Business in May and December 2019.

Both orders were placed outwith business hours, both times there was an Amazon dispatch confirmation well within 24 hrs and both times they arrived in a jiffy bag the next day by Royal Mail. Time from order to arrival was approx 36 hrs well ahead of the anticipated arrival date.

It is clearly stated that they will not arrive in the retail packaging but all four cartridges appear to be in the original Brother sealed bags.

The only issue I have had is that one of the cartridges has been reading empty from the start but it was definitely full and I have had no problems in use.

In the second delivery they actually sent a High Yield Black cartridge which is pretty much worth the price paid for the set of four!

Best price and excellent service on two occasions, what's not to like?

Had to laugh at their claim to be Lowest Online Price - I purchased a HP62 black cartridge for £24.99. I'm sure the advert link that I followed claimed that was the price for 2 but only one turned up today. I didn't note the internet link.
Anyway the cartridge came unboxed, possibly the supplier using multi packs, i.e colour and black, splitting the boxes. No box with the cartridge just in its plastic sheaf.
Even Currys are cheaper, they charge £17.99 with free p&p.
My advise would be to steer clear of this outfit - not fit for purpose.

Purchased HP colour cartridge through Amazon, when I came to use it would only print in blue. Tried to report this to Amazon who only sent an acknowledgement thanking me for my "review".
Decided to go direct to the supplier but having read the the reviews I think I will be wasting my time. Put this one down to experience and buy them locally next time.
