Thehalalfoodshop cannot be faulted for service BUT the Sara's savouries which they carry are not tasty, pastry with near zero filling, the lamb lollies are awful as are all the other items. Wasted a lot of money on these as they are very expensive too. Ended up dipsosing of nearly all of them

They have products on the website that they do not have in stock.
When I ordered, instead of issuing an immediate refund and sending a notification that the product was unavailable, they tried to call me once, but I could not pick up. After ten days, when I started asking questions about what happened to my order, they said, "oh, we do not have the product in stock.

In this situation, our team attempted to contact you unsuccesfully as the item was not suitable for delivery. This can be based upon damaged packaging, short best before dates or any other issue with your product.
We apologise for the invoncenince however due to the nature of the business which is food there is a higher probablitility of potential issues when ordering online. Our distribution team will contact the customer to discuss arrangements which in this case was unsuccesful. If the customer wishes to take a full refund we process this immediately.

'The Halal Food Shop' is a online grocery service which relies on packaged products from manufacuters. Before dispatching our team examines the products to see if they are suitable for delivery, whether that be damaged packaging or short best before dates. At this point our team only dispatches the items which are suitable for delivery.
As much as we understand your frustration, we have the above steps in place to ensure there are no issues further down the line as the customer would be unhappy with the products.
In regards to the delivery fee, this goes towards the packaging of your parcel which includes a double walled box, insualtion, ice packs and dry ice to ensure your package is temperature controlled for up to 48 hours. With all of this mentioned, this does not include the premium courier fee to ensure your products arrive within 24-48 hours of dispatch.

Quality and freshness
The meat is really good quality and there’s a good verity of cuts. Savouries by Sarah are irresistibly good!
The delivery comes with ice packs which gives me comfort about the freshness and quality.
