Iv shopped with them a few times and I have never been let down, especially with my last order where I ordered an item by mistake! Upon realising the next day I emailed them, they replied to my email promptly and I was told it will be sorted. When I finally received my order, they did replace it! What a relief it was and such amazing customer service!!! Their packaging is immaculate and arrives in time. Frozen food iteams stay frozen. Can’t fault them at all. Thank you so much for you help & service!

Amazing Halal ranges foods
Fantastic Halal ranges foods. Glad to found this websites through by sara instagram. I lived in small town outside London where these not lots option for halal foods. Excellent communication and keep me updated about delivery.

Items never received, customer service says sort it out yourself

Ordered £63.90 worth of items. Delivery was supposed to be carried out by DPD. DPD delivery person clearly messed up and left parcel in some random doorway and I was not contacted. Items were stolen. Contacted DPD. DPD advised to contact TheHalalFoodshop and ask them to contact DPD on my (the customer) behalf. TheHalalFoodshop basically said sort it out yourself with DPD or contact the police. While majority of the blame does lie with DPD, TheHalalFoodshop straight up refused to help when they are clearly in a position to do so. HIGHLY HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

Thank you for your feedback, although we respectfully disagree with some of the points raised.
- Initially, you mentioned not receiving any tracking information, yet later stated that you had instructed DPD to leave the parcel in a safe place.
- As our deliveries contain perishable items, we always advise our customers to be available at the time of delivery to ensure a smooth handover, especially with time-sensitive food deliveries.
- We received your complaint three days after the delivery was completed, and at that point, we recommended contacting DPD and the police to report the parcel as missing or stolen, which is standard protocol for such cases.
- We did not refuse to help but instead advised on the appropriate steps to claim a crime reference number and follow up with your bank.
- We have successfully delivered over 14,000+ orders and pride ourselves on our service, as reflected by our 500+ positive Trustpilot reviews.
We regret this experience and are committed to improving our service, but we stand by the support and advice we provided.

Your parcel was left in a safe place because there was no response at the time of delivery. While we aim to ensure the highest quality and timely deliveries, it is vital that temperature-sensitive food parcels are left rather than returned to the depot, as this helps maintain the freshness of your order.

Very happy with the packing and the delivery service. However you let your service down when there is absolutely no responses to messages sent to you. It's not a good service when customers queries are ignored and there isn't a number that you can ring to talk to someone about your order

Delivery issues are always addressed immediately as they fall within our direct control, while product-related queries do require communication with our suppliers. The pies are exactly the same as the ones we get in our local halal fish and chip shop but cheaper. Sometimes the frozen pies are not as fresh and so the filling is dry with less gravy. This happened with 1 delivery otherwise the pies are our favourite. Pls give me freshly frozen pies!!

The divery driver left the box on the doorstep to defrost on a sunny day, wasn't sure how long it was there for, so don't know if the food had goan off, so I ended up bining it, didn't want to take the risk. Not going to order again.

We use DPD courier service due to their excellent tracking system, which allows customers to monitor the delivery status of their orders in real-time. When orders are dispatched, customers receive notifications with tracking details to ensure they are aware of when their delivery is due.
We offer specific delivery days (Tuesday and Friday), which are communicated during the order process. It’s important to ensure the parcel can be received, especially with frozen and perishable goods. Our records show the order was packed and delivered within the agreed timeframe, but unfortunately, there was no answer at the delivery address.
As these items are time-sensitive, DPD is instructed to leave parcels in safe places if there is no response, to avoid the goods being taken back to the depot and defrosting. We always encourage customers to track their orders and contact us if they have not received tracking information, so we can assist before the delivery.

I ordered from thehalalfoodshop for the first time and had it delivered to the place we were staying during our holiday. I absolutely loved the quality of Al-Barakah meat- securely packed and perfect for storing away in the freezer. Highly recommend. This is a great service meeting the needs of the Muslims, definitely should be supported.
