They aim to get small businesses listed and ranked on Google for a fee, but users report feeling tricked into contracts and experiencing poor service, despite official T&Cs acknowledging they can't guarantee top spots.

I spent £800 with these. And they said if I’m not happy with the service after 3 months I can cancel and get my money back. 2 managers stated this Jess & Tom
And then convinced me to stay on for another 2 months and still nothing. No calls no enquires no nothing!

They kept sending me monthly reports saying how great my rankings were which I think were fake! And made up. They then basically said it was on me to get reviews in which no one ever said to me you NEED these reviews to help you.

They have gone back on everything they have said to me. Which is no surprise as they are scamming s***bags.

Do some digging into this company, the CEO owns his own IT company, so that explains the fake rankings. He also owns multiple investment companies (and that’s where your money is going)

So far a great experience with directory guys. I've been assigned a manager and she's awesome. She understands where I'm coming from so there's no techy lingo, just to the point, explains things in a way that makes sense and doesn't bore me with things I don't understand. It feels like I can trust her to get the things done that I'm paying for.

I am new to this SEO service and my account manager Aanum has been my journey so far less stressful and her help invaluable.

I’ve used the directory guys for nearly a year now and just changed account manage to KIZZY, I feel like the service has gone up a level. Very informative & helpful look forward to working with her for the future

I’ve changed this review as my experience has changed with the directory guys to be honest. Kizzy was okay however there’s some major online problems. Firstly being in my post which I’m paying for having to go on an updating myself and add pictures. This is just not good enough. I just don’t think it’s worth the money to be honest with you.

They cold called my business and gave me the impression they were from google - it took real pressing to find out this was actually a sales call.

The person who called also told me several - inaccuracies - when the facts didn't meet her narrative.

In short, any company who employs these pressure sales tactics is not a company that I want to work with, and shame on you for being so vague adn misleading in your sales call.

The service is great, the results are exceptional and my account manager Annam is very helpful and provides great customer service!

A very poor experience and a complete waste of money. They promised they could improve my business visibility, get me into the top 5, and make meaningful changes to my Google page — none of which ever happened. I’ve been working with them for over a year, and still saw no results.

They took my payment and did absolutely nothing. My account manager was changed without any notice, and I rarely received updates, reports, or communication unless I chased them myself. They never updated my business profile, kept my information current, or helped my business grow in any way.

When I tried to cancel, they called to apologize and asked what I expected from my account manager. I requested a proper progress update with a report, support with keyword research, and overall clarity on what they were doing. The account manager had no idea what keywords were or how to help my business — and of course, I couldn’t reach her afterward to follow up. Why am I paying a company if I have to do all the work myself?

My account has been left untouched for months — no updates, no improvements, and still no visibility on the first few Google pages as they promised. What exactly am I paying for?

Completely unprofessional and extremely disappointing. Don’t waste your money. Find someone who is actually qualified and genuinely cares about managing your business properly!
