This has been a gift for my Husband for his birthday and we have loved making them together and the food is absolutely delicious.
The ingredients are authentic and often ones we haven't used before. They come in recyclable packaging and are clearly labelled.
Recipes are simple to follow and the schedule is great to show when you should start doing each section.
Love the addition of the Spotify playlist to accompany the dish and I find the notes about the chef really interesting.

Fantastic Greek Cookaway Experience!
I had the Greek CookAway box and was genuinely impressed from start to finish. The ingredients arrived super fresh, beautifully packaged, and clearly labeled, which made following the recipe really easy, even for someone who’s not a confident cook!
The dish itself tasted amazing. Portions were generous, and the instructions were clear and well thought out. It felt like a real treat but still had that homemade feel.
Yes, it’s a bit pricier than your average meal kit, but for a special night in or a dinner party, it’s 100% worth it.
Will definitely be ordering again!

A cut above other recipe kits
I was so impressed with the Cookaway recipe kits. The delivery service and packaging was superb and everything was so conveniently labelled and easy to follow.
The meals themselves are incredible!! They’re definitely a cut above your average recipe kits and I would highly recommend them.
We had the Indian Street Food recipe kit, we was truly blown away by this!! It’s something I never imagined I could make at home.

Dinner Made Easy – Perfect for Busy Parents!

Loved my box! It was really simple to follow, and I love the little touches like the Spotify playlist and an introduction to the Chef. I got to create the chicken katsu curry, and it looked and tasted delicious. I would definitely order from them again to explore more of their cuisines.

Great Recipe Box for dinner party
We are regular users of recipe boxes and were really impressed with the Cookaway box and experience. The quality of the ingredients delivered was top notch and absolutely everything required was delivered down to oils and seasonings. Instructions were plentiful and clear, and the addition of access to an accompanying music playlist was a fun plus! Food was delicious when complete

My boyfriend loves cooking so this was the perfect at-home date night experience. We ordered the Malaysian Chicken rendang and it was amazing!! The experience from start to finish was great. Easy to follow recipe cards and fresh, delicious ingredients. Highly recommend.

A lovely celebratory evening
Our son-in-law loves cooking. It is his relaxation after a very busy, stressful day’s/week’s work.
Therefore we decided to give him a Cookaway meal for his birthday. We chose the Greek as something perhaps a little different.
He was delighted with it. He said the ingredients were beautifully packed and presented. He enjoyed the whole process and was clearly delighted with the end result. The portions were sufficient that with some extra (homemade!) flatbreads, all four (parents and two boys) had a delicious meal. We added a packet of mixed baklava, etc to finish.
Our daughter said with the addition of the suggested Greek music, his birthday ended with a lovely evening of celebration.

Lovely meal with clear instructions
We were given a Cookaway voucher as a Christmas present and we chose the Greek Lamb Kleftico for a treat at Easter, intending to have it on Easter Sunday. Unfortunately, DPD did not deliver Easter Saturday and the food must be eaten within 48 hours so we switched the meal to Good Friday. We were very impressed with the quality of the lamb and the generous portions. The website said serves 2-3 and we did, indeed, have one portion of the vegetables left over (which we ate next day) - there would have been one portion of the lamb over too but our dog was happy to step up to the plate and eat that 🤣. I think I would prefer slightly smaller portions at a reduced price but accept that the size of people's appetites varies. Hubby and I spent a happy hour preparing the food between us. We have previously had cook your own meals from Angela Hartnett and Simon Rogan, which were all great, but you get individual recipes for each item and have to merge the preparation and cooking times yourself. So we were very impressed that Cookaway provided separate recipes for each item but also an overall timetable and schedule to successfully allow us to merge the complete meal into one seamless cooking experience. Unfortunately, I am unable to eat spicy food so that limits my choice of Cookaway meals considerably. Perhaps Cookaway could consider adding a few more non-spicy dishes? I would love to see some French and Italian cuisine.

Fantastic night in with Cookaway.
We had a fantastic night with our first Cookaway box.
Inside our box we found a cooking guide with detailed instructions, fresh high quality ingredients, & even a Spanish playlist QR code which was fab, it really added to the afternoons mood while we cooked.
When the meal was finally set it looked incredible, and the taste; delicious & authentic.
We’ll definitely be trying Cookaway again.

Summer BBQ Feast purchase 🤩
We’ve recently purchased the British Summer BBQ Feast box to take away to the caravan & wow 🤩
Completely avoided having to do a food shop for our first evening, with all of the fresh ingredients delivered to our door. The Citrus chicken was absolutely delicious. Good food, bad service
The food is great, the packaging is great, the idea is great but the customer service is terrible.
Bought gift vouchers whilst they were on offer. You can't check out with them as gift vouchers, they only work in the 'promo code' box which means you can only use 1 at a time. As the vouchers are in £50 increments, you either loose money or have to spend more. The 'chat' is blunt bordering on rude and the overall impression is that I should be grateful the company lower themselves to take my money, all very peculiar. Overall, I would say not worth the hassle.

We're a bit surprised to read this review as you recently contacted us to ask if we would extend your vouchers that had expired and we made an exception so you could use these. If we were after your money, as you claim, we would've simply declined this request as its well within our T&C's.
Also, you purchased the multi-kit bundle with 5 x £50 vouchers which is what was sent to you so no disconnect here.
When purchasing the multi-kit bundle, you used a discount code to get 20% off your order. We make it clear on our site and in our T&C's that no 2 offers can be used on the same purchase (common industry practice) hence you were issued promo codes otherwise the already discounted vouchers can be used with another discount. You've also used 2 of the 5 codes previously without any issues or concerns raised.
We take immense pride in our product (thanks for highlighting this btw) and even more so in our customer service as evidenced by the many 5-star reviews here calling this out.
We've delivered the product as promised and as sold and we would've appreciated an opportunity to clarify the above before receiving a poor review when all we've tried to do is to help by accommodating your request.
