I had a very negative experience with Alloy Market & I certainly would not recommend doing business with them. I sent in approx 575 grams of 925 silver jewelry charms, clasps, & bracelets. Also a pinch of gold filled (1/20 content is 14k gold, you know that stamp) broken chains & an eyeglass frame. Most or much of it is stamped 925, bought from reputable jewelry making distros decades past. They offered me $26 for 575 grams of sterling silver, aka 925 silver! WTH?! I may live in Detroit, but I am NOT smoking cr@ck! Heck, one bracelet and the baby spoon will fetch nearly that much at the pawn shop! That pawn shop offered me $400 for the totality, but I was convinced Alloy Market would pay much more based on the hyped statements on their website. I feel dirtier leaving this interaction with Alloy, than I ever did leaving the pawn shop. Alloy didn't even buy me dinner & a movie, they just tried to screw me. I smell a rat.

It's also very common to get around 70% for jewelry, I don't know why people are surprised. They have the right marketing... bambboozled! They do not pay 80% value. Nor will they explain why or what value they will pay. It was all smoke and mirrors. I couldn't get a straight answer out of my supposed professional helper. The only reason I mailed in was because everything I read said they paid more! What a Croc of shit! My local pawn store offered hundreds more. Know the weight of your items. Know the value. Nothing good to see here!

The Alloy Market is a really excellent place to sell any of your gold or precious metal jewelry. I have sold twice now and not only do they pay quickly, but they offer payment via PayPal which I personally like. The payment is quick, and I have been thrilled with the offer both times. They also offer a sellers commission on any pieces that resell though them with success, which I think is rather awesome.
