Scam! 3rd company name (see Slidenjoy and Portabl) they need to use to cover up.

Scammed hubdreds of people. I’ve been “waiting” since July 2015 (correction: 20th of April, 2014).

I ordered their kickstarter back in 2015! We are in 2014 and still nothing... So they are taking money since 9 years now but still didn't deliver the first orders. Imagine ordering today ˆˆ
Run away from them.

This is an excellent product! I have been using this when travelling and the compactness of it makes it worthwhile purchase. I'm used to using multiple screens at work so having the portable screens with me is super useful and convenient. I was initially skeptical because of the high cost but when I received the package, i can see why. Neat packaging, solid screens, definitely worth the money! Highly recommended as a gift to workaholics like myself.

This is a total SCAM. I ordered it 2 years ago and still getting the run around. I definitely would run from this fake business. I'm out $600.

Leider ging es ca. 2-3 Monate, bis wir die Lieferung erhalten haben, aber wir haben sie erhalten + der Kundenservice war stets freundlich und erreichbar. Mir wurde garantiert, dass ich die Lieferung erhalte und das habe ich auch.
Die Monitore nutzen wir in unseren Meetings. Sie sind genial und modern, sodass wir auch eine nächste Bestellung machen würden. Normalerweise mache ich keine Bewertungen, nur möchte ich das Unternehmen gerne unterstützen.

I wish I had looked closer into the company as like so many others I’ve been scammed by this company. Paid back in 23.07.2022 and never received. Then went through all the hoops to get a refund just to be caught bt the ridiculous AI bots or useless contact team who insist they can’t contact the billing team to see the status of my refund. I am gutted as I pride myself of researching before purchasing but I got caught!! PLEASE PLEASE DONT BUY FROM THEM. I’m going to try and take it higher up to citizens advice to get the company blacklisted but don’t know how much it will work.

After a bumpy delivery phase, I'm now so happy to have received it.

The first attempts were uncomplicated and hassle-free. The set-up was easy, although I don't use the app at all, the image transfer works just as well via the USBC to USBC cable.

There is really nothing to complain about when it comes to screen quality, sharpness and colors are great.

I mainly use the mono when I'm travelling and working in our motorhome. It's perfect for this, super slim and light, it doesn't take up any space and is a huge asset for work.

Ich bin mega happy. Ich hatte meinen Slide zwei Tage nach der Bestellung. Während des Bestellprozesses und auch danach waren mir die Mitarbeiter per Chat sehr behilflich, so dass ich alles schnell anschließen konnte. Der Chat war zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit erreichbar.
Ich war schon eine Weile auf der Suche nach diesen Bildschirmen, aber leider habe ich keinen gefunden, den ich bei meinem etwas älteren Laptop anschließen konnte. Nun habe ich Ihn mit dem Slide von Portable Monitor gefunden.
Die Arbeit macht jetzt richtig Spaß, weil ich nicht immer auf einem Bildschirm die richtigen Fenster suchen muss.
Ich bin sehr zufrieden und kann es nur empfehlen.

I ordered the Mono Lite 15.6 laptop. It's a superb screen, great for extending your workspace... but still very mobile and very lightweight. With my laptop and this screen, I can work anywhere, on trains, planes, in my office, during shooting prod... and my clients are delighted when I offer them the screen by placing it on the back of my computer. We can easily and quickly work on a one-to-one session.
Thank you The Portable Monitor! I had to wait a little while to receive the product (I'm based in France)... but it was beautifully packaged when I received it, and it was a great experience every day!

With the exception of Customs Delay, the overall experience from purchasing to setting it up has been nothing but incredible. Loved that it is a game changer which eradicates the need to bring large bulky monitors in meetings and making me really productive. :)

Still waiting 9 years after backing the original. I was willing to believe over the last few years the company was trying to deliver the product but woke up this morning and decided no more. I asked for a refund and they are not willing to give me it. I am now considering legal action.

Do not buy from this company.

UPDATE:

Since this action the company has asked me to provide further details of my order. I believe they are trying to clear house of any negative Trust Pilot Reviews.

Speaking with a representative recently they infuriated me that they are receiving 100 units every 2 months. By my maths I will not get my double screen until 2026. 11 years after I initially back the project!

Good luck to anyone that supports this company in purchasing their products.

Ordered it 3 weeks ago to Zurich, Switzerland, apparently delivery issues, back and forth with customer support (arleast they're "responsive") They are NOT willing to simply CANCEL my order and give me a REFUND, they want me to wait on the order, fill out a form and PAY to send it back. Apparently this got escalated to the MANAGEMENT, never heard anything. Something about this is really weird, don't let a pretty social media page fool you. I have proof on anything I just said. Also, everything is on SALE all the time, but joke on you, if you buy something on sale, different return policies apply! It's ridiculous. Do as you wish guys, but I just LOST 162$.

Thankfully the only reason I ordered was tue to my employers wish to expebd company benefits, I received the money back from them - but also forwarded everything to our head of legal, they're taking this on now, they have more resources. I am glad because this has to stop. To everyone else reading this: our head of legal contacted OLAF and we forwarded everything to them and also that they're constantly changing their names and rebrand!! I work at a bank in Zurich, so they have the resources to do so.

Also, the sudden influx of positive reviews every second day? I mean, please. The reviews look like the fake reviews on their website. Also interesting to see the countries the new reviews are from and Portable Monitor seems to be the only review the respective accounts post. Mine was business related and the newest are suddenly as well? I mean, It's ridiculous but expected. please read my review and then read the newest reviews.

Please do NOT buy! It's not worth it. Don’t let yourself be fooled by responsive people, the product is what matters at the end of the day.

I ordered the flex on 18th January 2024, it was written delivery on the next day and their customer service mentioned the delivery should take one week, it has been more than 2 weeks, I am still waiting for the delivery date information. Every time when I ask the customer service, the delay is coming longer, no date of delivery, also no promise of payback. I will try to post my experience every day until the delivery or pay back. If people are hesitating to buy their product, my advice is to wait until see my posting of delivery or payback.

A great new product. It's strange how no one has thought of it before. Because it is so convenient and increases productivity.

I bought it as a present for my sister. She is working on video footage. I was considering buying an additional monitor for a long time, but I found this product and I was happy because now there are three screens. What could be better. The computer has become a portable workstation.

I was also surprised by the delivery time. It is very fast.

All the cables, the protective film, the sturdy packaging, it was a pleasure. A lot of work has gone into not only the product but also the presentation. A really good product.

De plus très pratique aussi pour faire des présentations aux clients quand il n'y a pas de projecteur

I received this product as a present, and had no huge expectations at first. After a month of using this, I cannot continue doing work without having it with me! I bring it to the office, in meetings, and back home as it helps me to be more productive. Sleek, thin dual monitors that connect to your laptop via USB-C, all provided with the product and took less than 5 minutes to set up.

The screens also take power from your laptop, but can alternatively be plugged to another power source with USB-C. Worked and synced as any monitor would but the product serves its purpose, which is to be PORTABLE. Was able to take it with me whilst travelling to the other side of the world. Hope everyone receives theirs too, you wouldn't want to miss out on this at all!

the delivery time surprised me, even when it was coming from China, I get my portable product like 5 days later.
I use it a lot, at work in a coffeehouse. At home, I’m really happy with this purchase. Unfortunately I have to use two wires because my Mac version don’t allow C-type, but a usb-Ctype and a HMI are enough to connect my Mac.

Another good thing is, all type of wires came with this product, after unboxing you have everything to use it.

The Portable Monitor is really useful and up to my expectations.
Because of its portability, of course, but also because it offers 2 further screens rather than one big screen as the usual docking stations. There are a few technical issues that can be improved (and I guess they will be as per my communication with the Team) that will make the experience even greater.
It's really a competitive product, compared to what it available on the market. On top, as the company is still very young, the Team reaches out to customer and engages in fruitful conversations. This customer-friendly approach is definitely an important added-value.
No regret about my choice. On the contrary.
