I purchased an ice cream machine from HTG.uk just over two months ago, and it’s been an absolute disaster. The machine is completely unreliable – extremely noisy, and you need to top it up with ice cream mix every two minutes, making it impossible to run a smooth service.

It broke down just two months after installation, and when I called for support, they booked me in for an appointment four weeks later. The engineer finally turned up a week after that, and to top it all off, I received a £230 callout fee invoice, even though the machine was under warranty! Completely unacceptable.

That’s not all. When I initially purchased the machine, the salesperson never once mentioned anything about a £500 “document/handling fee.” When I questioned it later, I was told the fee was “included in the price” – but this was never disclosed at the time of purchase. It’s clearly a trick to slip in hidden charges after the customer agrees to the sale.

I even raised this with the directors, pointing out that their staff need proper training to clearly explain any fees before asking customers to sign anything. This level of dishonesty and poor service is shocking.

HTG.uk is a company full of empty promises, hidden charges, and unreliable products. Avoid them at all costs – you’ll thank me later.

Being charge over £400 for a "service" on my coffee machine which A 5 years old kid could have done. Total legalised robbery targetted on small business. I am truly disgusted by the way this company works.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Taylor UK Freezers. Their customer service not helpful at all because of the policies. They charge an upfront fee for any engineer visit without even diagnosing the issue first. This is nothing short of cheating customers. We purchased nearly 50k worth of items from them over the last few years.To make matters worse, if you hire an external engineer, they delay to provide the necessary parts, effectively trapping you in their overpriced and inefficient service loop. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with in the industry. Avoid at all costs!

Gave us a faulty machine and never fixed it or replaced it. They are soo nice to you when buying but after sale service is appalling, spent 15k on a clam grill

This company should not be allowed to trade. the worse customer service service ever.I sadly spent a lot of money on this charlatans. please stay well away from them.

We were sold a soft serve frozen yoghurt machine from Taylors 2.5 years ago under the pretence it would work on a vehicle. It turns out after the machine that was sold to us, it was larger and heavier than we were told, and that it was too delicate to be put in a moving vehicle. Our 'Friendly' salesman started ignoring our calls, a refund was declined, and 2 years later after storing the machine until we could find a use, is not longer works. From there all the 'long term warrantied' parts that needed fixing require specifically Taylor UK mechanics, that weirdly enough bill THE EXACT AMOUNT THE WARRANTIED PARTS COST AT MARKET VALUE.

If you are looking to buy any machine that Taylor UK sell, go elsewhere. They have the best salesmen and the absolute worst people running everything else. Save your money and put it anywhere else but in the Taylor UK team's pockets.

I enquired into buying a praktika turbo oven the salesman rob bourne came with his chef and I ask would it do meat pies from frozen he said no problem it would cook them perfectly and I also ask him if it would cook a frozen chicken breast from the freezer he said it would so I bought the oven and they installed it the chef came to set it up he burnt everything it won’t cook pies from frozen he lied it won’t cook chicken from frozen he lied they will say anything to get the sale and then don’t want to know BEWARE they are LIARS

If you are looking for the worst customer service in the industry these guys have you covered. We purchased a 14k Ice Cream Machine(Taylor736) directly to avoid any of the issues you may get with a second hand machine. What a mistake. Our shop has been without now for weeks as they could not find the parts on their systems. And now that they have its going to be a further 4 weeks. Wouldn't tell me anything without payment of 2k and this after the machine broke down 17 days outside of warranty with a fault caused by a stuck switch that was clearly that way for months according to their own repair man. Avoid these guys at all costs.
