As a player since 2013, I can tell you with certainty that this game is dead.
Impossible to play most of the time anymore because of crashing and lagging.
It became all about the money and unfortunately it shows.
What a shame.

one of the worst games ever, filled with lags which crash the whole game every 5-10 minutes, just a extremely slow game at this point. it peaked around ar 2015-2017 and went downhill right after

It's a great game. Been playing since I guess 2014 or less but I just created a new account. The new updates goofy and I can't by the new turrets or new hulls like in the earlier update. Also, gameplays too easy, like evaluate on skill, not rank cause I'm destroying poor newbies or bots.

Tanki is a scam-scheme - do not fall for it !

They most recent update is forcing the players to pay the full price of items they have already paid for, through the microupgrade system ... paying twice is not something new for tanki ... stay away from these scammers !

Spy, a forum administrator, banned all of my friends and I and accused us of being the same person as a pathetic excuse to do so. He wants to punish and torture my friend, Bowser448, every chance he gets because he doesn't spend money and also thinks negatively about the game. Spy is a bully and a liar. He says he "loves his players" which he clearly doesn't. What he did today was nothing short of an act driven by frustration and pure evil. He banned all of us because of the actions of a few of us. Two of my friends (Inkling_Boy and BattleHealer) who have been following the rules had their accounts terminated by that scumbag. They were banned without breaking any rules which is the same as being banned for no reason. Spy is a real jack ass, and I will not pay tanki or promote their game until he bans us fairly then apologizes or he is fired for abusing his powers. I also don't appreciate how he discriminates against anyone who doesn't work for tanki.

Ich bin beeindruckt wie sich dieses Spiel vollkommen zerstört hat. Ich habe eine sehr lange Pause hinter mir von Tanki Online. Nachdem der Vulcan rauskam habe ich aufgehört zu spielen. Ist also schon eine Zeitlang her. Als man auch noch aussuchen konnte auf welcher Map man spielen möchte und welchen Modus. All das ist weg und es wird praktisch aus zufallsprinzip entscheiden wo und welchen Modus man spielt. Ich dachte mir aus Nostalgiegründen spielst es mal nach Jahren wieder aber das Tanki Online was ich kenne ist tot. Nur noch Spinner unterwegs in diesem Spiel die sich alles schnell einkaufen um schnellst möglich voranzukommen. Das hat der Entwickler ordentlich was gemacht um schnell Geld zu verdienen...

I started playing in 2014, It was excellent, hard but excellent. The loss of rooms was a mistake. P2W, oh no!

The only way back is to have separate P2W and free rooms so that the game experience becomes somewhere like it used to be.

All the company is interested in money. They won't care it there are no users and it has to close. The will have become millionaires!

I play tanki online since 2012-2013, I don't remember the exact year. And I think it is a scam game now.

It was a great game, but they change everything, starting by putting cooling down status for supplies, so we can not use it all together again, while before we can use it all together at the same time after respawn.
In turret and hull, if you are mastering a turret, they will downgrade the capabilities of that turret, make you like a noob again, it is hard for people who never buy with real money to build turrets, hulls, and everything.
Many disappointing changes occur to tanki online game, including how dead tank body disappear after dead, now it is longer then before, what the point of that ? It a scam scheme..

The last thing, it will easily bann you for a week for saying noob, stupid or something i dont understand. Me and some people I know are banned for a week just for a not make sense reason (although they publish game rules).

I play game long time ago where there are maximum turrets, hulls level based on your rank, but now, everybody can reach high turretst and hulls level even you still a low rank..

For me, it is normal and fair if buyers (players who buy everything using real money) have more supplies, augments, but changing everything in the game for unreasonable reasons, is unacceptable.
A Scam game..

I better play a paid game which have a fix game features, rather than after hardly build the hulls and turrets the developer changes the capabilities of those turrets and hulls..

GAME RIGGED

I joined the game back in 2014 and worked my way up to Generalissimo before Legends were introduced.

The tables were turned overnight allowing new accounts to purchase upgrades equivelant to my own rank, allowing the lower ranks to pop you with ease.

Then the developers de-valued crystals for everyone and increased their purchase price.

Then using updates, user wifi connections etc... as an excuse for poor FPS and PING. In fact the developers figured out how to rig the game by throttling the data on the servers.

Then you'll notice your nukes have a delay before activating or don't activate at all and you die.

Then they introduced the reduction of hit points on targets for non P2W players and increased for a short period of time or depending on player ratios higher hit points.

Then they started introducing mis-match of player joining the game whereby your facing higher ranked and P2W players...

And....all those who P2W are supporting PUTIN's war on the Ukraine.

it pairs you with people far above your rank so you cant even play without dying all the time

Been playing since day 1. I have a legend 10 account that I started in 2019 so it is actually possible to do really well without spending money at least back then it was still possible. Even if it was really hard. I have almost all turrets maxed almost all the regular alterations for each turret and plenty of legendary op ones. I have 6 special skins crisis drone maxed booster almost all the non flying (stupid) hulls maxed as well. So yes it was possible. Also 20 animated paints. Why 1 star you might then be wondering? because the servers are awful the powerful alterations are ptw even if I somehow got some of the from containers. They nerf all the short range turrets like firebird. It needs a massive buff its the only turret that originally could overheat other tanks and now its the weakest of all the ways to overheat others. Meanwhile the super powerful alterations are off the charts powerful.

it's a fun game, but i like the old way of match searching more, the one where you can see what kind of match it is, how manny people are playing and in witch map. The rank range in a game should be smaller, couse when your'e a recruit and it's your first game, there is a huge change that you can be playing against Master sergeant or warrant officer 1.

the game is in a hiatus so the powers that be can make it better,.i have been with tanki since the beginning,.the good & bad,.still no complaints here,.i earned my way to the top w/o buying,.but now that i am there i adapt to the new concept and buy occasionally,.this game rocks.

The game was so good back then...Now you need momey to play. Also it has several problems with their servers.

I played Tanki from 2013 until now. I've watched the game evolve into this horrible pile of rubbish. It was very simple and now its way too complicated for a beginner player to learn and want to stay. They put beginners in matches against much higher-level opponents in their very first match and they get slaughtered. Eventually, most players quit, I stupidly would play occasionally and now it seems that 80%-90% of the players are AI Bots controlled by the game and not actual human players. This is really bad because Tanki can essentially cheat and dial in whatever skill level, ability or team it wants and put you at a disadvantage. I seriously doubt they had any kind of long-term business plan; I mean they had no foresight to attempt to retain players so they must not have much business experience. Too bad, used to be such a great game.

They simply cannot fix the game ,for this game you dont need skill just pay and win Not many players playing all bots It used to be good game but now they hired toddler mods and developers Still game cannot be play with their app and advise was :use VPN" Junk game.Ppl are trolling game with not playing and passive hanging on game and when you tell them to "get out" you will be banned like 200hrs.Thank God this game is not my life aim so I really don't care their banning at all Soon they will add " pay $$$ tank coins and we will do auto play for you to win the game...Very Bad

I have never seen such an amazing amount of completely dumb players. They keep throwing money at the game just to compete (not to win) and doing that they never ever learn any skill. Unfortunately it is a team game, and you will often get these useless teammates which will frustrate you to death. Terrible managers, terrible moderators, terrible players.

I am an eSports player and i recently joined a team that is actually decent but the shaft player is kinda weird. One time he went afk and he had his microphone opened he didnt know and i heard him moaning yes coach keep it right there go full in! After that i never stay alone with him on call also if somehow you see him on the battlefield i recommend you to leave the battle. His nickname is Slay
