Went from missing my offer and getting a C in chemistry in 2022 to achieving an A for my resit this 2023.

What did I do differently? I joined the TT family in February of 2023 when I was in a panic that I will never get the grades I need as an independent resit student. I had no other support. No teachers, no school and no in person tutors.

The video tutorials are exam board specific. Rich explains in 20 minutes what my teachers struggled to explain over a whole term.

The focus on effective study techniques such as active recall, spaced repetition, and the TT method helped me go from doubting if I can even get a B to confidently knowing I got an A. At school we never reviewed past topics, and there was a lack of emphasis on exam technique.

My first practice paper I got 46/105 (C). I was desperate and felt my future was slipping away. Fast forward to June 2023 the week before my exams I did the TT metHod for every past paper and was getting scores above 85 (A) for every paper. I went from someone who used to fake being ill and skipping chemistry topic tests to someone who was thoroughly enjoying!! the real exam and smiling when question types that Rich went through came up.

I remember being so upset and fearful of failure and sending Rich a long question where I vented about getting a B on another practice paper. He analysed the marks I dropped and reassured me I CAN improve on these weaknesses and encouraged me.

My name may be familiar because i’ve already written 2 reviews thus far😅 but now i’ve just received my final results and I could not describe how in debt i am to the Tailored Tutors Team.

Everything I could have ever wished for or imagined, no matter how difficult it was, was made so much easier with TT (and hard work of course)! A lot of people don’t use the programme properly and then say it’s bad but it has done wonders for me and never would I have imagined getting 3 A*s in bio, chem and especially not math and getting a place in med school as a international student without them.

Even in real life, I’m constantly promoting this programme because it was the most significant thing I ever used for my studies, and with house rough my Y13 year was and how low my attendance, all of that was made up for by being consistent with this programme. Instead, I was getting even more than any material I was missing in school!

It doesn’t just teach the basics and the tricks, it teaches every little thing you need to know and more!! Just incase you aren’t convinced… my stats were:

- 500/500 UMS in biology (a dream come true)
- 490/500 UMS in chemistry
- 578/600 UMS in math (i’m not a mathematician at heart and this was by far my biggest struggle)

All A*s, and never would I have ever dreamed that big or had that confidence if it wasn’t for TT! My GPA was significant enough to make my dream come true and get the scholarship I wanted and a place in med school.

The only thing i’m sad/disappointed about is the fact that my time with the programme is over because I loved and will forever miss the TT family!

I cannot explain how much gratitude I have for Rich, Rich and Ronnie. You all have done and continue to do amazing things so please keep doing what you do!! I cannot shut up about you guys because this truly was the best thing I could have ever picked up.

Thank you thank you THANK YOU!! and if anyone is contemplating get TT, GET IT! I wish I had a more convincing way of words to make you all understand how great this resource is, but there’s a lot of reviews here that do that better than i do 😅

Tailored Tutors is a fantastic resource for learning A Level Chemistry. The videos teach you all the content in a really concise and clear way. The live classes are really interactive and great for learning exam technique. Any questions you have are answered really promptly. Thank you to Rich and the TT team! Highly recommend to anyone studying A Level Chemistry!

It may seem to early to speak but having just sat my A-levels accompanied by using tailored tutors for the past 3 months its safe to say that it has completely changed my revision strategy and made the exams feel like a walk in the park for me. Will have to update this on results day XD. Rich is amazing because he has videos for every topic, sub topic and the TT method for revision using action hours and going through past papers is reinforced with a video consisting of an analysis, response and markscheme all done by an amazing man named Rich! There is something human about rich that makes these videos so engaging since he explains the answers and reasoning in depth, encouraging good habits that is taught and unique to no one but Rich, god I wish he was my chemistry teacher honestly. You truly get what you work for but with this handy resource I would recommend it to anyone any day, unfortunately it is pricey but oh well you're in sixth form get a job you bum. :)

The TT revision method has been so helpful in improving my grades and building my confidence in biology and chemistry in a short amount of time. Although I did struggle in the first few weeks as the website was slightly confusing.

Rich is absolutely brilliant!! All the chemistry videos are super helpful and very clear. In year 12 I was really struggling, and I started TT chem in January year 13 and my grades almost immediately went up! I wish I had started with TT earlier!!

All the tutors are extremely helpful and the site is filled with a wealth of resources that makes your a level life easier. I wish I had subscribed from the start of year 12. Highly recommend it to any student studying maths, biology or chemistry.

Tailored Tutors is incredibly attentive and personalised, probably more so than past 1-on-1 tutors I've had. Their help with exam skills and strategy helps so much in boosting marks, especially if like me you weren't taught anything beyond content in school.

Literally saved my A-levels, started TT 3 months before exams and was getting C’s and D’s for both bio and chem and now I can’t seem to get less than A’s and A*’s. The videos are super short compared to YouTube videos and only cover what you NEED to know. You can message the tutors at any time with questions and they reply so quickly! They also have loads of prediction papers and question banks that help you make sure you understand the content. I couldn’t recommend it enough!!

Easily the best revision resource I've used by far. Was recommended to me by a friend and I have relied on it since - its genuinely so useful. They provide x10 more than any other revision website/resource ive used prior. Far more interactive and personal aswell, moreover, each tutor will help you personally from a simple comment and will explain everything fully personally to you and your lack of understanding

I’ve had an amazing experience with tailored tutors, they have helped me build my confidence doing Biology and Chemistry A Level, in terms of content and questions. They do walkthroughs of all the topics and every exam question from the current specification, which I found so very helpful - It’s totally worth the price
