Ease of use and the variety of applications

I love this company and they are Open Source, what more is there to say??

Ordering was easy; delivery was prompt.

Well designed, delivered quickly, good choices for compoments. A touch screen would be handy.

Tech staff explained what had changed in OS distributions since six years ago and the implications for transitioning from an old meer4 with Ubuntu 24.04 to a new meer10 with Pop!_OS 24.04. Main point is that Pop!_OS is provided with DEB packages only but supports flatpacks which may better suit single-user systems. The main issue is the location of configuration directories.

Won't touch any other laptop. Esp. as they implement Coreboot... freedom in an unfree world.

Great performance, great display. I've had mine for about a month now. I intended to test more on the limits of it's graphics, but so far, thumbs up.

Love the Meerkat, It is small, fast and quiet.
It does everything I want it to do while freeing a lot of desk space.

Great kit, not cheap, but great total cost of ownership over the journey. For a development machine these are great.

Nvme drive failed while under warranty, new drive was shipped, very easy process. Very satisfied

On account of glitch in the processing of my order, it looked like it might be delayed, but S-76 made sure it got processed (and delivered) in time for the holidays.

The product is great. Also, when I had a major problem with the UPS delivery of my laptop, System76 support was excellent in dealing with that deficient organization.

Great online experience. It was easy to configure my purchase. The price was better than other places I checked. It arrived fast and worked perfectly. I decided to return because my learning curve was too steep and they helped me with a smile. When I get back to Linux I will only buy from System76.

System 76 stands behind their products and supports right to repair. They gave me the option to order a replacement battery or have them do it for a fair price. My lemp10 laptop was 5 years old at time of repair.

The build quality is incredible, the system feels really smooth and fast. When they say is light they really mean it.

Battery was swelled and they replaced it for free under warranty. Good service as always!

I STILL do not have the information that I requested for from System 76. I was told that you could get me the manufacturer and part number for my part, but the MINUTE I paid up and you shipped the replacement part, my case was dropped like a hot potato.

Overall, I am not happy with wither the quality of the laptop, nor the quality of the service I have received over the lifetime of the product. Given a 2000$ laptop and a premium service subscription on top of it, I am just so disappointed.

I do want to support the Linux laptop ecosystem, but I will most probably look elsewhere for my next purchase.
