Sync2Cloud Google calendar syncing problems

While Sync2 is a solid piece of software, I encountered performance issues with Sync2Cloud when syncing Google calendars, so I would recommend avoiding it.
The company usually responds promptly to support requests, but in my case, they declined to switch my license to Sync2, which could have resolved the issue.

Product Did Not Meet Stability Requirements in Outlook IMAP/Exchange Environment

I purchased this tool to enable reliable scheduled email sending in Microsoft Outlook (IMAP setup). Despite responsive support, the solution remained unstable in my environment. I reinstalled Outlook multiple times and spent around six hours troubleshooting, but the core functionality could not be made reliable. As the main requirement was not achieved, I requested a refund, which was declined. Users with complex Outlook configurations (IMAP+Exchange) should carefully assess compatibility before purchasing.

No activations after 1st year...

I bought a perpetual license of OST PST Viewer, and after I reïnstalled your computer, it won't activate anymore saying:
"Activation failed! Limit of activations is exceeded!"

When I contact support, the only option is a new license, because they only give one year of support!

Horrible Support - Do Not Rely On

Let me start by saying this is a great product and I want to recommend it (and have).

I was trialing the license and they were wonderful and very helpful. Set me up and solved my issue. The issues started after I bought the license.

I have been trying to get this set up on my new laptop for several weeks and have been going back and forth with support. Once, I was asked to buy a lifetime support package because the old package expired. Fine - I did that. As soon as I did that, when I am asking for help to set it up, they say that that is not included in the support package as it is configuration rather than technical support. I am being asked to buy another package only for a session on that issue.

Perhaps I should have been pretending to be a new customer - if you are a small business user, I would avoid. This is not an honest business interested in solving your issues.

Please note that software configuration is not considered a technical issue. Most customers configure the software on their own, or they can choose to use our paid Premium Support service, where one of our specialists connects remotely and completes the setup for them:

Utterly arrogant and useless support.

Daniel from support clearly does not like helping customers. I originally gave them a pass when I had an encounter with Daniel in December where he was completely rude and unhelpful. But now i have issues with appointments not syncing again and Daniel just plain tells me now that my outlook is not supported, and this after I paid and cannot get a refund. When I contacted them the first time it was just a “broken” appointment and nothing could be done about it. Since it worked again after that I didn’t think much of Daniel’s rude behavior after that except of making screenshots and perhaps mailing it to the company to confront them with their bad support reps, but I didn’t get to it. Now suddenly it turns out that it just doesn’t work with the outlook version pretty much everyone uses these days. And I’m out of luck for getting a refund. They state that system requirements are clearly shown but those are the minimum requirements. You expect this to work and up. Cause if I would follow that blindly it also wouldn’t work on my windows 11 computer as it’s not in that list.

Pretty much a very scummy company. I would stay away. Too bad I already threw my money at them.

Unfortunately we do not have tools that works with NEW Outlook. All software we have works only with Classic Outlook.

As we can see you purchased bundle of our products more then 14 days ago. During the purchase we informed you that unfortunately bundles are not refundable, that is why they are much cheaper then single licenses.

I would leave no stars if possible

I would leave no stars if possible. Sync was initially helpful in setting up the software, but something got messed up with my Outlook settings.when it was installed. Sync tech refused to help whatsoever. I asked the tech support guy (Daniel) over a chat to connect me with someone knowledgeable, but he refused.

Scam company - stay away - support = dead end street

Scam company. Bought Outlook tune up product. Did not work. Made many attempts to contact the Company. Each attempt refers the users to online chat, which results in a message that the company will respond, but never did. I followed these directions multiple times to no avail. Customer support is a dead end street and their reply below is misleading. Stay away

⭐☆☆☆☆ – Poor Software Performance and Support

I purchased several software packages from 4Team, totaling over $129, in an effort to enhance my Outlook experience. Unfortunately, the results were extremely disappointing. The PST Merger failed to install properly and repeatedly caused Outlook to freeze. Outlook also began disconnecting from Wi-Fi every 10–15 minutes, requiring constant restarts.

To make matters worse, Sync2 and Duplicate Remover continued prompting me to purchase them even after entering the provided activation codes. I reached out to 4Team for a refund so I could troubleshoot by purchasing one or two programs at a time, but they are unwilling to help.

Between the software issues and the lack of timely customer service, I cannot recommend these products. If you’re considering buying from 4Team, I would suggest testing one program first before committing to multiple purchases. I will never do business with this company again!!

Bottom line, there is a lack of support for issues with their software.

They Took Away Software I Paid For – Never Again

I bought Sync2 (as part of their full bundle) back in 2022. It worked fine on my laptop until I got a new one and tried to move the license. I deactivated it properly, downloaded the software again using the original links from my purchase email, and expected it to work like it did before.

Instead, I got blocked. The activation failed, and I was told that since my “maintenance period” had expired, I could no longer use the product – even the original version I bought and had already been using.

When I asked for access to the version I had paid for, they simply said: we don't provide old versions. In other words: they sell you software, then later make it unusable unless you keep paying.

This is not how software licensing normally works. Every other software company I've dealt with lets you reinstall and reactivate the version you bought. But here, 4Team effectively revoked my purchase and now demands $44 to regain access to what I already owned.

Reading other reviews, I see I’m not the only one they’ve done this to. Another customer said the exact same thing: they were blocked from using the version they licensed and told to pay up. Seems like a pattern.

If you’re okay with buying software that stops working when you change computers and forces you to pay again just to access what you already bought, go ahead. Otherwise, avoid this company.

I'm now switching to the FREE software Outlook Google Calendar Sync (OGCS), which comes recommended from several places

Once this period has expired, reactivation or use on a new computer may require a renewal or upgrade, as outlined in our licensing terms at the time of purchase.

Support not existing any longer

I have been using Sync 2 from 4Team Corporation for several years and it was working fine. A year ago it stopped working but support was very good. I guy from tech-support connected right away to my machine and sorted it out. Even though he was working in galactic speed it took him 10 minutes.

Now again it stopped working. I started a chat with their support team yesterday twice but they were not able to help. I started chatting with first level support again today which was just only that (VERY BASIC FIRST LEVEL SUPPORT). I am working as a project manager for an American SW company and I had tried everything already that I could do from my end. The support lady asked me to try VERY BASIC things, as if I hadn’t tried those already. When I ask for tech support to connect to my laptop I do that for a reason but she refused to accommodate that.

Maybe they only care for company customers and people like me which have bought regular licenses for some 500 Euro since 2019 including lifetime support (what a laugh) over the years are not interesting any longer.

As the Sync2 Software does not work any longer and support cannot help I will delete it and go for CALENDAR BRIDGE instead which is a good alternative.

02-01-2026: And it gets worse. Today I received an e-mail asking me for my name and e-mail address. Otherwise they would say that they never knew me and that my review was invalid. Honestly, what do these people at this company think of their customers? "The business acumen of this company is the worst I've ever encountered.

Sync2 Support and Operation

I purchased two Sync2 licenses and Sync2 Upgrade and Support, Lifetime.
The software works very well, just as stated in the specifications.
The support is fantastic. I had to reinstall Windows and couldn't uninstall the license. I contacted them via chat and the support was excellent. They helped me immediately, and in less than 30 seconds I had the problem solved.

Fast, friendly and competent assistance

I have been using Microsoft computers since 1982. I have often complained about the poor support that many software houses give (or do not give at all) to their customers (including Microsoft itself). 4Team stands out positively from all the others: I am a small customer who only uses Sync2, but when I needed assistance I got it quickly, kindly, accurately and with written answers from a real and intelligent person, not from a stupid computer. No other software I use provides me with a service comparable to that of 4Team. Thank you very much!
