Cheap rubbish clothing only fit for the bin, sold at inflated prices from what sounds like an English brand company..
Returns are to China at buyer’s expense of £25 plus any customs / import duties. This info doesn’t appear in their returns and refunds section but is burned deep in the T&C’s.
You get a ‘final ‘gesture’ offer of 30% refund if you don’t want the expense and inconvenience of returning the clothes to China.
This company should be prosecuted and closed down!
I will report them to my bank and to Trading Standards, but as the company has a company address in Holland and only a distribution address in Southall I’m not sure that British law would apply.

The website pictures bare NO resemblance to the very low quality item you'll receive.

I ordered a knitted cardigan (Order #12269) and received a PRINTED polyester hoody, printed to look like wool, their response was "fabric feel, texture, and design preferences can vary from person to person".

To return for a refund you must pay postage to China and pay restocking, or accept 20% refund and accept goods. That's after 22 emails to them !

Their business model is to send cheap rubbish that does not meet your expectations then accept you have been scammed and move on.

Hi sylverton , I am sorry to had left such a review but everything I have said I believe is the truth . since the 29/11/2025 I have been trying to contact you. I have never struggled so much to do a return as you have made it that a return can only be done through yourself in email and that’s once you respond with a return label . By time anyone even looks at email it’s months late which isn’t my fault the return time has gone over as I have been contacting via email ever since I made the purchase , tried calling a number multiple times , which I have had no luck with , I suffer from bipolar and I am a single mum providing for two kids on my own , over £100 is a lot of money to someone like me . I have emailed you constantly asking to send my items back for a full refund as the items haven’t been open and still in packaging and have just been ignored . If you check your emails for name nicolej you will find all my emails . Before you dispatched the items I emailed saying I have just realised this is china based company I felt mis lead with the 48 hour delivery which made me believe it would be here in 2 working days . Instead my email was ignored and a week later you decided to dispatch items

Please let me send my items back for a full refund , please take the strain your company is putting on me off me .

Once you have made contact and helped me with a full refund I will remove review but not until I am given the help I should of been given in 29/11/2025

And still no contact has been made by the company . What absolute con artists. Please please save your self the stress from this company

Ordered a winter coat in two sizes for my daughter (age 15, adult sizes). Both are tiny and very poor quality. Contacted the returns email address which bounced back. Happy for you to get in touch Sylverton as we want a refund. Order number ST12943

Spent £80 on two tops as a christmas present and they were only fit for the bin. Toral scam artists and hope they get whats coming to them.

Absolutely awful. Refund pretty much impossible. Costs £25 plus customs fees to return and they tell you it will take 4-8 weeks once received in CHINA to process the refund.
Tried to convince me to keep and have £180 store credit. Then 10% refund, then 20% refund, then 30% refund and keep the order.
Scam company, poor quality clothing, and awful customer service.
My bank are now looking into this company to get my money back.

Avoid this company at all costs. Wish i had of looked at the reviews first!

Avoid SYLVERTON like a plague.

Sylverton are a scam. The item I received was very late and of such poor quality. The front is a UK based business but it is really based in China. Hence the extensive delivery time scale. To return the item will cost £25, non refundable. I can’t emphasise how poor the clothing I bought was, it looked like a knitted garment but turned out to be nothing but a shell suit. Avoid at all costs.

Really poor quality item.
It will be returned and I shouldn't have to pay for the cost of return.
Online it looked like a warm woollen style comfy top but in reality it is 100% polyester in a photocopy style of knitwear!
Update.. quick respnse to emails. The options are
- keep the item
- full refund but i have to return it to China at my cost
- full credit note for future purchases
- 20% refund and keep the item

Wow!! What a scam of a company. I had exactly the same experience as so many others on here... Goods arrived that were nothing like I thought I was buying, then when I questioned them I got the offer of 10% refund! Do not buy from this company. I have returned the items for £12.50 who knows if I'll ever get the refund!!! Terrible company do not buy from them...

Awful quality, cheap and nothing like in the photograph. A complete scam, I would 100% steer clear of this company. Took 3 weeks to deliver (from China), was suitable only for the bin!

What a complete failure. What they advertise in their shop and what I received have nothing in common. I've never seen such cheap crap. If anyone is planning to buy something there, I strongly advise against it. It's a waste of time and money

You can research whatever you want, but we all know that you can't do anything about the quality of the product itself. What is it made of? Plastic? It feels awful to the touch and doesn't let air through. Does it have any safety certification? The sizes seem to be for children, because they're definitely not for adults. The colours are faded. I could go on and on. But what's the point? You're deceiving people.

Arrived today, it is nothing as described or what it looks like in the picture. Also I have now been informed the product comes from China. I wouldn’t even pay a £1 for it . Avoid at all costs.please do not trust there reply. I have been in communication with them. They offer: 30% refund, or you pay £25 to return it and any costs for sending it back to China. My bank is now involved. Good luck to everyone else who has fallen victim to this company.

Like so many others here, I deeply regret not having checked these guys out before wasting £40. Worst quality product I have ever seen. After a few days Sylverton replied to this saying they were really sorry and would do everything they could to assist me. They could start by reading every single review here and stop trying to sell inferior polystyrene printed to look like knitting and then send all of us refunds without us having to pay for postage to return this rubbish to China (no disrespect to China)

The clothes are very ugly and tacky, looks nothing like the photos. Looks like they copy the designs and a road side tailor attempts to put it together.

I ordered a fitted corset maxi dress in emerald green, as shown in the photos attached, which cost almost £100. What I received instead was a tacky-made midi dress in sky blue, with no corset detailing and very poor sewing quality. It did not fit at all and had no support. Imaged attached.

It cost about £30 to return to china which the customer pays.

Total scam. I bought what was advertised as a knitted bulky cardigan. What came was a T shirt quality printed item. Unbelievably tacky. Do not buy from these scammers.

The item ( a woolly winter jumper which looks great on the advert) is nothing like its photo or description, very cheap poor quality, honestly I have never seen an item of clothing so cheap and nasty, stay well away, also the returns policy is a joke, you, not sylverton,have to pay for a return to China.

Absolutely disgusting scam company!
I bought a knitted cardigan for my wife for Xmas, ordered beginning of December, didn’t get it until after Xmas, but to top it it all it wasn’t a cardigan at all, it was a printed sweat shirt, a totally different garment than the picture photo on website, an obvious scam and blatant false advertising! 😡😡😡
Won’t refund me money, asking me to return it to China at my own expense, definitely contacting Trading standards, DO NOT use this company!

I’d advise against buying anything from this organisation. I tried to return an unwanted item. First they tried to persuade me to accept a store credit for the value of my purchase but says they would deduct £7.50 from the credit to cover postage costs of the new item.

I said I wanted a refund. They replied that returning the unwanted item would cost £25!! Because the item would be sent China and would also be subject to customs delays. Nowhere on their website is this extortionate charge made explicit. The lack of transparency is appalling. A shoddy dishonest practice.
