Swoop Antarctica Anmeldelser

The expedition was absolutely fabulous! The Swoop staff was so helpful and responsive prior to the trip whenever I had questions or concerns.

Swoop was great at trip organization and pre trip information. Each and every component of our somewhat complicated trip was planned exactly and each worked perfectly over the three week , two city, three country and 2 continent trip.
Communication with our trip planner was easy and informative. In my estimation it helped that she had experienced the same travel itinerary as we had. She sensed exactly what our needs were with trip arrangements and hotel and cruise company choices.

Everything was above expectations. The ship was wonderful. Cabins had lots of storage and hangers for all our belongings. Bed was very comfortable. The gentleman “Rolando” taking care of our cabin always went above and beyond. The staff from captain to the gentleman I met in charge of water purification were professional, educated and so friendly. Jennifer had some mobility issues getting on and off the zodiacs at the ship and shore. Everyone was so helpful. They all sort of adopted Jennifer in talking care of her to enjoy the expedition. The expedition team were all the best in every aspect. The bartenders, waiters and waitresses were friendly and efficient. The captain and all of his team were so friendly and easy to talk to. The chef and his staff provided an abundance of delicious food with a great variance. So you don’t think everything was perfect the last night on the buffet was the worst piece of steak I have ever tried to eat. Pretty little complaint for a perfect experience of Antarctica.

We had the most amazing trip to Antarctica - it’s hard to decscribe this whole experience until you have been there. Highly recommend this trip to everyone!!! Truly is once in a lifetime experience/

Logistic of our expedition was perfect. Very professional and helpful staff. Very comfortable accommodation.

One of the best organised teams. Everything went smoothly, and we felt acknowledged and informed about the next steps at all times. Swoop's partners made our journey to Antarctica unforgettable in the best way possible! I can highly recommend Swoop as your operator in the world of expeditions.

The staff were really kind. They helped find the good and cheap ticket, and guided very well to prepare trip. Thanks to the specific guidance, the trip was really comfortable and went smoothly.

The communication from the Swoop team was very good and their recommendation for Aurora expeditions was right on for us.

Swoop was amazing in helping us choose and prepare for our Antarctica Adventure. The experience from the moment we reserved until the adventure ended was way beyond expectation! We highly recommend Swoop!

the expedition members are amazing, They are very professional, organized, funny. They did an awesome job.

Very pro-active approach and helpful in making changes to our scheduled trip to Patagonia/Antarctica

The team were great and answered all our questions to help prepare for our trip. Excellent website with heaps of info.

SWOOP is the best. Their attention to detail and follow-up on my recent trip to Antartica was above and beyond what one would expect. The pre-trip informatiion was so informative. Any questions were answered promptly and efficiently. They were always available. This was a very big adventure for me ( my 7th continent) and they really went out of their way to enhance the experience! Highly recommend them!

Swoop is very knowledgeable about the companies and ships they deal with, mainly because their team of advisors and coordinators have traveled with these very same companies/ships, to experience them firsthand in order to give sound advice. They listened to the type of trip we wanted, and matched us with a great company (Oceanwide) and wonderful ship (Hondius and it's team). We highly recommend them.

SWOOP did an outstanding job with the initial personal zoom! Also the contact/phone call was great because it allowed us to have a dialogue and questions answered about the ins and outs of taking this type of trip. Our affirmative decision to go was based on that. Once we registered, Swoop created an 'Adventure Planner' with plenty of the information of everything that we needed for the this voyage... step by step. (ie. insurance, recommended clothing, details of the ship, IATTO videos explaining protecting Antarctica, etc)
The Swoop staff assigned to us for further information and questions were very prompt in responding. All aspects of the staff were of the highest quality. Including traveling on 'Seaventure' with Polar Latitudes.
The ship, the Captain, the staff, the sea crew were exemplary! A trip without question one of a lifetime.

Very happy with the trip and how swoop organized things. Easy to stay in contact with. The airline lost my luggage’s and delayed my flights to the point I barely made it to town in time to board the ship. Swoop worked with me to get the gear rental company to have everything ready in my room when I arrived at the last minute. Turned a near disaster into an amazing trip.

Helpful and well organised

Swoop's Sales Specialist and Customer Experience Coordinator made it possible for me to plan, book and embark on my trip to Antarctica just 1 month before the expedition start date. I had never heard of Swoop before and was initially unsure if they were a genuine company. Having gone and returned from my Antarctica expedition in December 2024, with a few extra days in Buenos Aires, I can say for certain that Swoop is absolutely genuine and reliable!!

Excellent advice beyond what's available on expedition cruise operators' web sites.

I discovered Swoop while searching for an Antarctica adventure, specifically one that would search for an Emperor penguin colony. My first contact Otto sold me on Swoop's value with his enthusiasm, knowledge and obvious love for the continent. When I decided to include Argentina in the trip, I met two more agents who were equally competent and exuberant.

The itinerary covered 4 1/2 weeks, and the execution was seamless. I never wondered where I needed to be or when. Lunch packs were waiting at the front desk on hiking days, and every local agency used was professional and friendly.

It was a great trip and not one I could have easily put together on my own. Swoop covered the details with a deep knowledge of the area and activities.
