This is out second experience of using Solar Together, we bought solar panels in 2019 and batteries this year. Both experiences have been great. Solar power is needed and I was lucky…
Solar power is needed and I was lucky enough to be able to afford to have a system fitted. The process was straight forward. And fitting took a day except for scaffolding which is erected before fitting and removed a while later.

Easy process, good price but install quality was affected
The process of signing up was fairly simple although the surveyor never left any messages so we could not call back so took months to get it arranged. The equipment seems to be quality but the installation was done to a price and the installers were clearly on a priced job(i.e. get it done as fast a possible). The winning company have done everything and supplied all documents just need to installation to be a bit better not just functional

Efficient informative service
The surveyor, scaffolders and installers all arrived when expected and were polite and focussed on their work. They gave clear explanations when we asked questions. The office also responds swiftly to queries. We have had the panels -east and west- up for a fortnight. It is December and they are working well.

Had a very reasonable quote, much cheaper than anywhere else in market. Installer was UPS which is a big company with good reviews. They were very quick and efficient. Had my solar and battery installed within 2 months of the accepted quote. Would highly recommend.

Start with the good bit
Start with the good bit. The battery system works great and looks like it will really help with our energy costs. The not so good. The original enquiry recommended a 5kW battery, I opted for a little more cost and had the 11kW. This is proving just about adequate but maybe the next size up would have been better, so the 5kW! The survey failed to note that the router is one side of the house and the installation the other so comms is quite patchy at times. I queried this and was told I'd have to pay extra for a booster. This ones not your fault. The APP, FOX Cloud does the job just but could easily be so much better and comprehensive. I'm still having trouble with the Password for contact even though I'm using mine as in the Personal settings. After Christmas I will redouble my efforts.

Smooth process
Solar Together made the whole process of getting solar panels and a battery for my house very smooth and easy. UPS Solar, who were the installer, were fantastic. Easy to contact and named people for each step made the customer service side of things excellent. Plus an incredibly competitive price!

Impressed by Solar Together and Green Energy Solar UK
We had solar panels and battery installed by GES Green Solar as part of the Solar Together scheme. I’d been meaning to look into solar for a while, and this made it very easy. Once I’d emailed Solar Together and paid a small deposit, they referred me to Green Solar UK, who carried out a rooftop survey, then a phone call asking what was important to us, then emailed me three options to look at. I accepted one, and they booked me into their schedule. They dealt with everything, updating me regularly. The scaffolding turned up on time, the installation went really smoothly, and the electrician helped install the app for the battery on my phone. All the paperwork came through by email as soon as the balance was paid. Really pleased with the whole process, can’t wait for a bit more sun to get the most out of it.
