Very disappointed, never recommended to anyone
I raised a claim 20days ago, and I put review 6 days ago and am still waiting to get a decision. Every time they ask for a new document, once I submit one. Why don't everything together in one email? I have uploaded proof of usage, which I have received from my Three network, and I have explained everything, but still waiting for the outcome. When you call to customer care, they just say, You will be contacted by our claim team, and they don't give any clearer answer. Claim ref. NCL/SP/00112818/KIK-1

Difficult to cancel
I emailed Swipe twice to cancel my policy renewal as they had instructed to do so in their policy renewal notification email. They still tried to renew the policy and take the money out of my account. Fortunately, the debit card details they had had expired so the money didn't leave my account. I tried to call to cancel the policy but was left on hold for a long time so eventually gave up. They did call me back and cancelled the policy.

Long process for claim review and approval but got there in the end
My mobile phone was stolen. The claims process was long, with lots of information and documentation requested by Swipe (Taurus). This included providing a selfie whilst holding passport next to me which I thought was unusual. The approval process took just under 3 weeks which is frustrating. It took another week to receive the replacement phone and whilst it was in good condition, it was pink - not suitable for me as a male. Swipe insurance state that they try and match the original colour, which was green. Bright pink represented no attempt to match the phone. Having had my phone stolen I also didn't want a bright pink phone that is very striking and obvious for any other phone thieves to target. I returned the device and was provided funds to buy another replacement phone myself. Stephen from the Swipe/Taurus team picked up my case after the phone was issued and was excellent to deal with. I understand that companies have to be diligent in reviewing cases, but the process could certainly be improved. Thankfully the outcome was resolved and I will continue my insurance with them.

Absolute nightmare...

Wished I hadn't bothered with these people, impossible demands for proof for a claim, wanting a bill from my provider showing calls etc and the imei number of my phone?
What a joke mobile contracts DO NOT show imei numbers, also need vat invoice from when I purchased my phone again this is proving impossible to show imei number. I have my original order emails from 2 years ago but can't get anything more from them retailer.
Keep well clear as the hoops you have to jump to make a claim are impossible to do.
Treated like a scammer from the very start of a claim, they make it as hard as possible to make a genuine claim so you don't bother.
Still no update...hoops have been jumped through and completed

This was a renewal of last year's annual policy you had. We issued an annual renewal reminder to you via email 1 calendar month prior to renewal. This is to inform you your policy is due for renewal so you have time to make a decision.
However, as your policy is within 14 days of the renewal, you were provided with a full refund.
