Wouldn't recommend - trying to submit a claim for my stolen phone. Company appears to actively try to delay solving claim by requesting further documentation which could have been submitted on the day my claim was made (e.g., dual ID verification, proof of purchase). Over a week later and no phone and just heard (over 48 hrs after submitting latest documents) that some documents didn't upload (I had to phone up for that update - no contact from Taurus who handle the claims). Misleadingly sold based on "Easy online claims with FAST turnaround" - neither an easy nor fast experience.

Update - disappointing response from Swipe Insurance. Still no idea when I will have my replacement phone and it has been over a week. Remains neither an easy nor fast experience would argue that is miss-selling.

First of all, I don’t know why this company has got even 4 stars on trustpilot. This company doesn’t even deserve half a star.
All the people who have rated here am sure they never claimed from them because they will give you ample of reasons to reject your claim.
So, after giving like 20+ documents they asked for proof of usage of device which i was using on wifi and had no sim in it. They found the reason and started showing me the policy and all other bullsh*t. Even if you are buying after reading this review, please read their policy because they have many things there to reject your claim.
I did insurance for my device and i wanted to secure my device with this insurance, I don’t know why they need proof of usage. Unfortunately, after providing ample of documentation they rejected my claim even after giving proper reason.
Instead of device insurance company they should be a smart law firm because they know how to save themselves with their terms and conditions. They mainly focus on NOT CLAIMING.
Please be smart guys and don’t trust this company.
Very slow process, Its been 3 weeks now without my work phone.
YOU CANNOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. WORST COMPANY EVER.
THEY ARE ALSO KNOWN AS ‘TAURUS INSURANCE SERVICES LIMITED’.
Now they are not even refunding my money which i paid for this ******** insurance company.
Don’t fall for good reviews as they have never claimed insurance from them.
And please SWIPE INSURANCE don’t reply me on this review because I already had enough from you guys.

I want to take claim but company denied after charges £90.

Quite straight forward to purchase, l hope my opinion keeps high over time.

Only just purchased the insurance but it was very easy to understand, offers good coverage and was quick and easy to complete the purchase.

It’s me again! Was told that I would get a final decision today! (05/02/24) but no contact from Swipe/Taurus Insurance!

I’ve been doing all the leg work! I’ve called them several times but to no avail! All the documents have been provided as requested within a matter of hours.

Again I would recommend you stay away from this insurer! Traditional insurers are better or I’m just having one really bad experience with them!

Had my Iphone stolen - a touch slow with coming back to me initially but cannot complain after that - I had a replacement phone within 4 days.

Bought a new iPhone 15 Pro Max from O2 and wanted to shop around for insurance. Went through Money Supermarket and although Swipe Insurance was not the cheapest one on there, there low excess and promise of resolving claim efficiently was the main reason why I bought insurance with them.

Unfortunately a few days after buying my insurance .. I lost my phone and the claims process has been pain staking! I’m still awaiting a call from the senior claims handler! Please be aware that they ask for ALOT of documents which other insurers do not!

My recommendation would be to use a trusted well known insurer! I usually buy the tech pack with my bank through my current account and once I’ve finished my yearly term with these guys! I will go back to them.

I would not recommend Swipe Insurance to anyone!

Zulaika from Swipe assisted with a couple of issues I was experiencing, when completing online details, very pleased with their prompt, efficient, response.
Policy itself was at the best price for cover required.

Staff are helpful but this insurance uses a replacement phone service which is awful. Had to wait 3 weeks for the replacement. Had to chase in multiple occasions for updates. They sent me a damaged phone, with dents and scratched screen not to mention a horrible golden colour (although it does state in policy wording they can any colour available)had been clearly dropped. Second time, I got a purple one! This time in good condition. Overall horrible experience. Thank god I had my work phone. If you are looking for a quality and fast service this is not your providers.

Took this policy out when I got a new phone. All seemed well. Problems are with the website. You can't cancel / update cover. You can't set your own password, so you have to click 'forgot password' each time. You then have to ring to change / cancel the policy.

I was going to move the new phone to them and swop cover, but after having to try to deal with the website, I thought better of it.

I have a Zfold 4 phone and the fold screen broke. Contacted Taurus who sent me policy details for swipe. Filled in the claim form online and RM collect phone and returned all fixed within 10 days. Such an easy process. Great service, I would definitely recommend

on 28 december 2023 i lost my phone i provide all the document. which is odd for mobile insurance claim alot of documents , on 2 jan they requested additional documents i provided the required documents same day now its 5jan i still didn't receive the update . 8 days without phone just imagine.
i never recommend anyone this insurance company better to get from official provider like samsung and iphone. you will get a replacement in 2days
i am just waiting for the reply. if didn't receive the reply soon i will share my story on youtube and tiktok so at least i can save others my half million followers from this mess.
swipe is not a parent company they are using taurus insurance
update : my claim is approved by little bit delay. its i think due to new year. i am happy
