Our first visit to Paris

Our first visit to Paris. We wanted to be located as centrally as possible, which this accommodation fully provides.
Everything was exceptionally nice, tidy and clean.
Minus - old building with thin walls, and it would not be out of place if in 12 days they at least asked if we needed clean towels and if they came to clean once for free (and not charge approx. 80e for it).

Fuyez : Apartment Hotel SWEETT…

Apartment Hotel Le Palacete SWEETT Barcelona, Espagne. Hôtel racheté à SONDER par la chaîne SWEETT créée par un Français qui vit à Londres. Il promet des appartements, qu'il met aussi à disposition sur AirBnB, mais avec service hôtelier. C'est faux : il n'y a ni réception ni accueil téléphonique, ça sonne dans le vide et il faut appeler à Paris. Pas d'éclairage sur la terrasse : nous avons payé pour une « suite avec terrasse » pouvant être utilisée de jour comme de nuit. Les interrupteurs ne sont pas reliés aux spots, ce qui signifie qu'ils ont loué ce bâtiment sans jamais prendre la peine d'installer ce qui est nécessaire dans une chambre d'hôtel. Des centaines de mauvaises critiques sur TripAdvisor. Nous avons écrit à l'Office du tourisme de Barcelone et à la mairie de Barcelone. Toilettes bouchées après 1 heure de séjour, pas de chasse d'eau, réservoir cassé, et nous sommes restés comme ça pendant 2 nuits. Nous avons dû aller utiliser les toilettes des cafés du quartier et payer une boisson. Pas de papier toilette, pas de ménage (séjour de deux nuits), la plupart des équipements cassés, extrêmement vieux, manquants, odeur d'égout, coffre-fort cassé, pas de dosettes de café (nous avons dû en acheter à 15 km). Aucune réponse à nos messages. Fuyez.

Fabulous - Fabulous - location, premium comfort and safety

Fabulous - location, premium comfort and safety wise I’d recommend staying here. We stayed at The Sweett Inn, Le Nest, in Paris for a business trip extended for leisure over the summer. Just a two stops away from Gare du Nord and a few steps from the metro line that will take you everywhere. Easy access and check-in upon arrival. The room and bed are comfortable and equipped with the essentials amenities. Pretty French balcony and rain shower are two of the highlights. The lounge is stylish and even has a courtyard. Perfect for a brief meeting or relaxing tea. Within the neighborhood we found places to have breakfast and walk to restaurants and bars near MontMartre. Would stay again.

Casa Bailen, Barcelona

Lovely 2 bedroom apartment in the centre of Barcelona, within walking distance to many of the attractions. Metro station also close by . Groceries shops, restaurants and cafes very close by. Overall a wonderful experience. I would definitely book again with Sweett.

Gorgeous comfy room in beautiful building in the heart of Gracia

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Online self-check in and out was fast and efficient. Large well-designed room with very comfortable bed and bedding, spacious shower and funky furniture! Great location... Would highly recommend

Sweett Took Full Payment, Then Backed Out 4 Months Later

I booked a 4 bed / 3 bath apt in Paris (Wagram Suite V) in November of 2025 for a trip in May 2026. A rep from Sweett reached out and processed payment in full upon booking (November). Then, after 4 months Sweett emailed me to cancel my reservation. The reason provided - they “cannot honor the reservation” since their agreement with the landlord expires.

They have already billed me in full and are well aware of their own contractual obligations to the landlord. Despite this - Sweett had no issues taking my money and waiting 4 months to notify me. Over the course of those 4 months - the majority of apartments that meet our criteria were booked leaving us with very few, very expensive options.

The only resolution Sweett offered was a downgrade to a smaller apartment with less bathrooms at the same rate. Sweet still has a chance to do the right thing and offer us an appropriate alternative but it’s highly unlikely based on their customer service so far..

Be very careful trusting this company - if their rental looks too good to be true - it definitely is.

Don’t find yourself in the same situation -at this point an equivalent accommodation is going to cost me 2x as much.

UPDATE (2/18):
Sweett has offered a £200 discount for the downgraded accommodation which is nearly half the size (112 m2 vs 190 m2). This is the best that they could do and there is no interest in "making this right" despite their response.

TL;DR: Avoid this company.
Sweett does not own the apartments it leases — which means you are relying entirely on their ability to manage third-party contracts.

Based on my experience, that is a material risk.

They collected payment in full and only notified me four months later that they could not honor the reservation.

Their explanation speaks for itself:

“To clarify, at the time of your booking we were in discussions to extend the contract for Wagram Suite V and expected it to be renewed. Unfortunately, the extension did not go through, and once this was confirmed, we informed you. We were not aware beforehand that the apartment would become unavailable.”

In other words, they took full payment for an apartment they did not have secured.

As a guest, that leaves you exposed to last-minute cancellations with limited alternatives and significantly higher market pricing.

As you fairly noted, we had to stop operating the specific apartment you booked due to unforeseen circumstances. Please know this is an incredibly rare situation for us - something we consider a force majeure - and not how we normally operate.

We also want to clarify the alternative we offered. Since the original apartment was uniquely large, the only available option was indeed smaller, but our offer included a refund for the price difference. We would never ask you to pay the same rate for a smaller apartment.

We've processed your full refund. However, we know that doesn't fix the disruption to your trip. We want to make this right. On top of the full refund, we would like to offer you a voucher for a future stay if you are willing to give us another chance. If you're interested, please write to us directly at cs@sweett.com, with your previous reservation ID, and we can discuss in more detail.

Great experience, yet again!

This was my second time booking an apartment in Paris with Sweett Inn. The apartment was clean, bright and very spacious, comfortably accommodating our group of five. The location was conducive to walking pretty much everywhere. Sweett Inn staff was courteous, friendly and helpful.

Ottimo appartamento in zona comodissima

Barcellona Girona 502: Appartamento pulito e ordinato che rispecchiava la descrizione, posto in un edifico tranquillo. Posizione molto comoda, nelle vicinanze di fermata metro e bus; con una breve passeggiata si arriva a casa Batlo.
Comodi il supermercato e i bar sotto casa.
Appartamento dotato di tutto il necessario, gradito il kit di benvenuto con prima dotazione per bagno, cucina e bottigliette di acqua per gli ospiti. Comodo il deposito bagagli nelle vicinanze dell'appartamento e il check in/out in autonomia.
