ordered replacement batteries and the ones Super Cycles sent were old and would not take a charge. I reached out to them but they never responded. $160 wasted.

I really like my scooter its just that I live in a hilly area and find it very slow going uphill and as I have severe arthritus I find the seat is a bit uncomfortable for me, other than that it is very good indeed.

I love these scooters! I'm going on my 3rd one and they are awesome! I'm a pretty big guy (275 lbs ) and this is the only scooter out there that holds up. They have great customer support and service too.

I have purchased the 800 Elite scooter from this company. The stock drive sprocket is must faster than the hill gear sprocket. I pre-paid at the time, and Alex, the owner offered the extra hill gear, spare chain, tool kit, stainless steel hardware, and excellent service. The unit came with the hill gear installed. All items he sells are listed as free shipping. There are no hidden charges. The invoice will show the shipping, but what you see advertised is your cost.

I get about eight miles (or plan by that) per charge. I also built a home made cart from scratch to use shopping. It weighs thirty pounds and is drawn by a clevice that I also made. I also purchased the desulfating four hour charger. I now rotate between the slow one and the fast one. I did find after the first year that the lead/acid batteries needed service. They were low on electrolyte. Don't be afraid to break the battery seals. If you pry carefully, the tops will pop right off exposing the rubber cell covers. The little battery checkers with the floating balls do just fine to check the specific gravity. I'm glad I did the check because I could have ruined the battery pack. There are three twelve volt batteries in series at 12 amp hours each. The motor is super. Eight hundred watts is more than one horsepower (HP) One HP=746 watts.

If you want maximum distance, don't use full speed ahead! Distance varies with load, terrain, and how you run it.

How does it ride? Super! The suspension system beats the "knock off" types that are available elsewhere. Don't be fooled by the 800's that ARE NOT THE SUPER 800 ELITE that Alex sells.
