I don't know how it is as a company in general, but I would avoid the Durham, NC office on Cruthchfield St. at all cost. Poor management and even worse poor customer service. I had an experience I would wish on none one and threatened by an employee.

I cannot say enough good things about the Hanger Clinic! Our experience was nothing short of amazing and miraculous! The staff excels in knowledge, professionalism, and compassion. Bethany kept constant communication with us regarding the status of our device. They are totally flexible in accommodating our needs. Annie is remarkable; she is extremely knowledgeable and capable; she thoroughly explained what kind of brace we needed and how it is made. It was incredible to hear details of what sounded so impossible. Yet she made it happen. And a custom made brace was created based on her prep work, and it is a real life changer for us. We actually watched the miracle from its conception to its completion. Thank you, Hanger Clinic, for the positive impact you have had on our lives! It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with you.

Made mistake on review thought gave them 5stars review would take down because only rated 4 but they have been great with me ever time needed help when needed it have every time staff are exlent too give staff 5 star hit wrong rating they are great company

Today was my first visit with Hanger. My husband was handled with great care and quite a few needs met in a short period of time. Bob treated us like we were their only customer. We go back in 6 weeks for products designed specifically for my husband. Will keep you posted on results.

When I deal with my local office I had no issues. Sense you have taken that away I have had trouble getting my prescriptions filled and they call the day before my appointment to residual after I have waited a month and a half for my appointment. Call my local office they in 30 minutes and was able to keep my appointment .leave things alone I have been using you for 45 years

They did not ask what my knee issues were, they did not ask if I had x-rays (I did), they just measured my leg area and had braces created for me that do NOTHING except cause me so much pain I had to quit wearing them. This after paying $250.00 out of pocket. TOTALLY USELESS.

I bought leg from Hanger and the leg is no one will call me back to get it I am in constant pain. I move to McKinney have called the plano office to make an appointment no one answers or return my Phone calls. I spoke with some in San Marcos. They said they would call the plano office and get back to never did. The San Marcos office made the leg is has never fit right. All hanger cares about is the money not the patients. Buyer beware...

If I could give these SCAMMERS zero stars I would. Charged me 5x’s the wholesale price for a leg brace. Less than a year later the Velcro is coming off the ankle, ask for a replacement. Two weeks later they want me to get a doctor to sign off first and pay $45. Mind you I’ve been struggling the last two weeks while waiting-for them to require another doctor appt FOR REPLACEMENT VELCRO. There is no medical or insurance state law requiring a doctor to sign off on wear and tear items of a brace THEY ALREADY SIGNED OFF ON. Not paying for a whole a$$ doctor appointment FOR VELCRO. Do you know how much orthopedic doctor appts cost?? I checked, other brace people don’t do this, and it’s not a state requirement. Just a crap company policy to get around servicing their equipment. Shame on you, Hanger. Taking advantage of a very vulnerable section of society-that is typically already burdened with enough medical bills.

Hanger clinic in Fort Collins Colorado is a JOKE! I was just in there and was treated like shit! I was told to have my ID and insurance card, I was never told to bring my supplemental card, and when I told here I didn’t have it on me but i was willing to call once I got home with any info she needed. She said she would put me down as self pay. I told her I wouldn’t pay a penny because I have the info, just not on me. Then she had the audacity to ask me if I have been to any appointments lately because they would ask the same thing. I couldn’t believe she asked me that, so I told her I have two forms of cancer and polymyositis, and I have appointments on a weekly basis, and have never been asked that. And as I was leaving the VERY unprofessional lady that started all of this snarked and laughed as I was walking out. The funny thing is, I got it all on my phone. You can hear it clear as day. When I turned around and asked them about it, of course she didn’t do it. But now I understand, I deal with professionals at UCHealth, not the minor league team that work at Hanger clinic. Oh well, if you don’t believe me, look at their reviews on ALL the review sites and you’ll see! Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere, you’ll be glad you did!!!!!

I have been going to Hanger Clinic for 13 out of 17 years. I have never been let down. The staff are knowledgeable, ready to listen, and ready to help with any challenge that arises.

I recently completed a course of shoulder therapy with Zahir and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the very first session, he took the time to really understand my injury and tailor a treatment plan specific to my needs. Every appointment was professional, focused, and encouraging.

Zahir guided me through exercises and techniques that not only helped ease my pain but also built back my strength and mobility far beyond what I expected. I was seen in the Syracuse, New York office by Emma. I was being fit for a Gunslinger Brace and she didn’t know what she was doing. With my shoulder scrunched up high towards my neck she abducted my arm suddenly and tore my rotator cuff/supraspinatus. I had an MRI about 10 days later and it showed a full thickness tear of the muscle. The muscle had not atrophied much (muscle belly in tact), so it was new and it was sudden, and it was caused by Emma. Sadly, she had a student with her so now the student learned the wrong things about how to take care of people. It’s been nine months and I still can’t lift my arm in certain directions.Looks like I’m going to have to have major rotator cuff repair thanks to the ineptitude of Emma. Don’t go here. The office was supposed to follow up on my injuries and they never did. This place will bury their mistakes, look down at the floor look away from you. The care is pathetically awful.

I was going to give less than 1 star butt can't They were supposed to make me a custom AFO after 2 tries and the brace getting lower in quality I have nothing. The 2nd one I could of bought oft off of Amazon for $100. They have my money and refuse to give it back. NO REFUNDS they say. I would not recommend them to a dead person. THANKS HANGER FOR LEAVING ME STUCK IN A CHAIR UNABLE TO WALK.

I was looking forward to walking better. This clinic located at 1397 George Dieter in El Paso, TX let me down. Their brannocks devices are way off. Made in China, they will be inaccurate. That goes for measuring tapes also. The staff bullied me into accepting shoes that were too small. They even gaslit me into believing they will stretch. Most man-made materials do not stretch. Natural materials do. Don't waste your time here. I had to donate their 2 pairs of shoes. The VA wasted their money.

My experience with Hanger Clinic Portland,Or. office has been ongoing since Nov.2019. The front office has always shown respect and prompt answers to any questions. I lost my left calf down. I was able to save my knee in 1983-1985, I had several operations thus I have been a B.K.A. for close to 42 years. I have had several prosthetic technicians over this time. Three are no longer alive. The tech. folks I work with in this office have been excellent and we get along fine. The artificial leg I wear now works very well and I have only needed to go in for new stump socks every six months. This piece of equipment has outlasted every other one (made at other locations) by three years so far. It is still in good condition. I will stay with them and promote them.

If I can give them a negative number I would. This company is one of the most dishonest companies we have dealt with in a very long time. I wish I would have looked at the reviews before we went there. The clinic in Salisbury NC has a very incompetent staff. They cant handle simple claims and are argumentative about just about everything. DO NO Go THERE. Run Away

I’ve used Hanger for the first time in 2020 and had excellent results then the tech’s I had all got other locations and then they went down from there. Had tech come from Washington St. full blooded democrat with the attitude of BS. Made 2 prosthetics never fitted properly and I decided to go to New Life which when I got my prosthetic it was extremely to lose. They put a sleeve in it and it never fit. They are off my list also. Seems like a virus spreading through the system of incompetence!!!

Hanger Linkea Shoes in Philadelphia are truly the most incompetent business I’ve ever experienced dealing with. I’ve had the required paperwork for my diabetic shoes sent from my doctor 3 times. And they have lost them or thrown them away 3 times. They are a waste of time to deal with!
