I cannot thank Supercarers enough for being able to understand and quickly respond to our emergency needs. The carers have been superb, experienced and nothing has been too much to ask. Would highly recommend Supercarers

no stars, no response to my letter .....

Dear Mr Pike,
I am not sure there is much point in contacting you. There is no facility for dealing with concerns or complaints on your ‘supercarers’ website, so I assume you will not be interested.

Your ‘senior, all round, customer service’ manager’, Karen Cowan advises the new website is ‘under construction’ and assures me this will be a future feature.

I will not be using your ‘introductory service’ again and will most certainly warn people of the appalling way your company is run.

I am told by Ms Cowan, that you are ‘not an agency, rather an introductory service’. I can see nothing on your website which explains this.

I am unclear, if you are an ‘introductory service’, why you do not charge a set fee for said introduction? Rather you charge an additional/ongoing £4 p/h for what exactly ?

I have tried to secure the services of one of your ‘careworkers’. I had concerns at the outset about her level of english (comprehension and written skills) and her supposed qualifications. I believed I was paying you for this vetting to have taken place. I trusted your organization based on your website. How foolish of me.

In my experience when there is a problem with a member of staff, I do an internal investigation before responding. Your Ms Cowan did not feel the need and tried to call me yesterday with some blithe comments that demonstrated she had no knowledge of what had taken place.

I had an agreement with one of your workers. She was to attend for further shadowing on Saturday, from 10.00-5.00. When she had not arrived by 10.30 + I called your firm. I was told they would contact her and ‘get back to me’. Over an hour later I received an email with the worker’s telephone number. The worker arrived at 11.45 telling me she had called the ‘introductory service’ at 9.15 and asked them to call me to advise she would be late.
Someone is clearly telling an untruth? The worker further advised she was late because she had another 3 hour job in Swiss Cottage with your firm. The woman I spoke to ( Sarah ? Zanab ???) told me the last job she had with your firm was the previous evening. Again, someone is being untruthful.

Your Ms Cowan then told me yesterday that the worker had arrived at my house at 10.30, late because of a tube delay. A further untruth.

This is also ridiculous as I can show you my phone call record and email thread.

Even after asking a number of times the worker in question never showed me her qualifications, the copies of the references I was sent by your office were redacted and unclear and the attempt at resolving my concerns was risible.

I employed the careworker for numerous hours over the previous month … she never did a shift on her own, as I believe in majorly supporting my staff until they are attuned to my daughter’s needs. My daughter is profoundly /multiply impaired, (PIMD) cannot communicate with words or technology, so is extremely vulnerable.
I have been managing her care for over 10 years now and have a very stable team of six. One member has recently moved to NZ and I am horrified at the change in the social care recruitment market.

I have used another Uber style organization, but they are run professionally.
Sadly yours is not.

I would recommend Supercarers wholeheartedly. I needed a Carer for my mother in law and within the day I had several CVs available ready for me to interview. The carer we had was good . Unfortunately, my mother in law's needs changed soon after so we had to have 24 hour supervision so had to put her in care home . However, the agency are excellent.

Really good customer service, and we have a truly super Carer!

Vanessa, what a star. Thank you so much for making one family very happy by enabling their father to come home to end his days with family and friends around him, and the lovely Evelyn to help look after him. And all arranged in less than a day. Sounds corny, but SuperCarers really were super for us. I submitted a late night online request last night, was called by Vanessa at 8am today and a carer was here by 7pm, with a follow-up call at 8pm from Vanessa to check everything was ok. The process was speedy and simple, but more importantly, it felt very personal. Right from the start I felt Vanessa had my interests central to the service offered. Thank you SuperCarers, three extraordinary people helped to get my dad home from hospital today and Vanessa was one of them.

I needed someone to look after my mother when she attended my son's wedding. Fay looked after mum, she was supportive and very kind. Mum has dementia, making her behavior difficult and sometimes rude but Fay's kind and caring manner shone through. Fay stayed longer than we had initially booked. Nothing was too much trouble, she put mum to bed and sat with her while we were able to enjoy the evening reception. I want to thank SuperCarers for employing someone as lovely as Fay and I would have no hesitation in using them again if I needed them or recommending them to anyone.

My mother found Anansa so lovely, she was very helpful and I felt that my mother was in a safe pair of hands when I went away, in fact I have already booked her when we take our next holiday. The agency was also very helpful and easy to deal with. Thankyou

I contacted numerous agencies looking for a short term carer on short notice. SuperCarers were the only one to propose carers and the service was very efficient.
Serah, the carer provided was fantastic. She was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her.
I would not hesitate in using and recommending SuperCarers.

Supercarers sent us Wendy who is simply delightful. She is caring, patient and good humoured. It's only a few weeks so far but she really feels like a member of the family. She has gone on holiday and my wife is missing her and asking for her constantly. Come back Wendy!!

I find SuperCarers very helpful to deal with. I have an excellent lady who comes 6 days a week at hours suitable to both of us. I would certainly recommend the company to any of my friends who need a Carer.

A brilliant company / platform. Just what my father (and the family needed). The carer they found for us was brilliant, flexible and great value.

I was impressed with the philosophy of Supercarers and found them to be client focused rather than profit focused which I had found with other agencies. From the outset, I found Supercarers to be professional and caring. They returned calls and emails really quickly and were encouraging and thoughtful with questions regarding placement of a carer. They sent carer details quickly and Heather has been totally amazing. Mum's condition had deteriorated between booking Heather and her arrival but she took it in her stride.
