We were on the 1-week flotilla to Brac (Croatia) and had excellent service on arrival from the Marina Agana team to greet us and ready the boat. This was our first flotilla and our Sunsail lead boat team were absolutely brilliant in supporting us throughout the 7 days. They were always available either on VHF or the WhatsApp group. Also great to meet other groups during the trip. It all contributed to a super experience for our friends and family. Would definitely recommend.

The bareboat hire was very good. The process of briefing, check in and preparation was slightly chaotic and over crowded. An allocated time period for each boat/crew would work better. However the boat was clean and well equipped for the week long sailing trip.

A very enjoyable holiday.

Sunsail just have it nailed. Great service, local knowledge and bat was in great shape. We've hired with a few others, but always come back to Sunsail.

A really enjoyable week of sailing out of Agana aboard 42ft Goblin , taking in some beautiful spots north of Split and up the Krka river to Skridal. Professional organisation and enthusiasm from the flotilla lead of Finn, Ellee and Kieran, together with the great company of our fellow flotilla participants made for a perfect week. Yacht came clean and in top condition and was a pleasure to sail for a complement of three. Undoubtedly, we will be back to explore more of the amazing Croatian coast.

Overall holiday was excellent, friendly staff and great help when needed. Only one blip and that was a delay with briefing due to wrong location given, however this was rectified the next day.

I was surprised that the Agana Marina does not have any recycle containers. You are a multi-million dollar corporation. You should certainly go to the trouble of helping keeping Croatia clean by encouraging recycling. Every other marina we moored at had extensive recycling programs. We were so impressed with Croatia, how clean it was--didn't see a bit of trash or a single can or bottle in any of the towns we visited. Then we get back to your marina and try to recycle our bottles and cans and are told you did not participate in recycling. Shame on you!

A really fantastic 2 weeks sailing around the Croatian islands - thank you. This was our second flotilla with Sunsail and our experience was as good as the first. The boat was excellent and the lead crew were fantastic. They were helpful when needed and fully engaged with the flotilla boats

We had a great week with the Sunsail team sailing out of Lefkas marina. Check-in was really straightforward & easy and the lead flotailla team of Jane, Sinead and Luke helped make the week enjoyable & memorable.

In particular Jane's morning briefings were succint, entertaining & to the point and with plenty of information.

Sinead's social events were a lot of fun, even if the food was sometimes questionable, not her fault but in one of the restaurants the food was not great, overcooked fish and another had a wasp and fly infestation and we had to move indoors. Overall a great effort on her part to keep everyone entertained.

Luke's trials and tribulations with our navigation package was admirable. It's a good job we didn't really need the SatNav as the charts and books were sufficient, though he spent a good few hours trying to reset everything. Full marks for effort.

Overall a really enjoyable holiday, great team work and service.

Fantastic weeks sailing out of Dubrovnik. The perfect cruising area and we were so well supported by our lead crew Liv, Becca and Vlad.

Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. No issue was too much for them and the whole charter experience was outstanding. Highly recommended for any level of experience.

Very lovely base with lots of facilities and lovely Sunsail & Moorings staff. The flotilla lead crew are really nice and the boats were in excellent condition. Our skipper was the best one I’ve ever had, a family man that constantly made sure we were happy with the itinerary and that it would work with current weather conditions. He made the experience really safe and used his local knowledge to make us discover fantastic places. Would recommend sailing out of Dubrovnik to anyone.

This is the second charter through Moorings/Sunsail.

If this were a motel chain instead of a charter boat company, I'd categorize it as a mid-grade experience, similar to Best Western or Holiday Inn. The overall process of bareboat chartering is highly refined. Call it a production line or cattle herding, but it's highly "efficient".

The boats have been rigged for the lowest common denominator of sailors. That makes sailing easy, but if you actually know how to sail, you'll be a little disappointed in the performance.

The boats in my two charters have been in reasonable condition. Charter boats take a beating, and I have always experienced issues; therefore, keep your expectations in check. This time, the refrigeration system was failing. In the middle of a charter, there's no way to fix that, so we went to the old-fashioned way of doing things and bought ice at every stop. A little bag of ice cost 7 euros, so the expenses added up.

The staff members are friendly and responsive, and I'd say the Moorings/Sunsail experience is pretty good, overall. For sailing in foreign destinations, there's value in working with a charter organization with such a refined process. When chartering in my own country, I prefer something a little more customized and boats with better rigging.

Just had a fantastic week of bareboat sailing around the Ionian. As expected from 26 years of using Sunsail, the yacht was spotless and everything worked perfectly. I cannot recommend this company enough. We have already booked for another week in September and can't wait to return

Great company, great crew

Phoebe, Inga, Jane and Joao crewed the lead boat of our 7 boat flotilla. They helped to bring the group together with fun evening activities, while providing daily updates on each day's destination, navigation risks, sites to see along the way and good restaurant suggestions. Their coaching on Med-style docking helped those of us doing it for the first time, making it routine by the end of the week. They were also quick to respond to minor maintenance needs, always with a smile. They and the amazing people on the other boats all helped to make it a memorable week for our crew, we were sad to say goodbye but will definitely be doing it again through Sunsail!

We had a superb holiday with Sunsail, this is our second time chartering a sailing yacht for a week. We were in Lefkas, Greece and everything went smoothly. The boat was in great condition too. Our skipper Manu was fantastic, knowledgable, friendly and respectful at all times. Looking forward to the next one!

I took my RYA Day-skipper practical course with sunsail sailing school in Agana Croatia.It was an amazing experience! Dave was an excellent instructor and had me feeling confident to charter in the med at the end of the course.We had some incredible sails and I learned valuable skills that made me a better sailor.I definitely recommend sunsail for sailing school and charters.

We arrived at the marina in Lefkas late on a Sunday evening. We were taken to our boat and initial thoughts were how well-spec’d it was, and how new and clean it looked. Bear in mind I’m a 60-yr old from the Midlands. Never sailed before other than a pleasure cruise; not a clue if I was going to be seasick or apprehensive about being on a 44-ft tub for a whole week. I needn’t have worried; next day, our fab skipper Tom introduced himself and gave us a thorough briefing. My brother and sister in law had sailed before, my wife an I were complete novices. Our skipper asked what we wanted from our holiday; we said we wanted to learn/help sail the boat, see some beautiful islands, ports and let him choose the best places to sail to. He did not disappoint.
We got to to learn sailing terminology, help put sails up, alter them whilst sailing, have a go at everything except reversing the boat while mooring up, and leaving the next morning. Wonderful holiday, the places we visited were all stunning, the restaurants/tavernas were amazing, the whole holiday was just perfect. Yes, from a landlubber. Just perfect. Thankyou so much, Tom, Phoebe and the sun sail team; it was a pleasure to meet you, spend time sailing under your (and John’s 👏🏻) expert guidance, and to spend a week getting to know you as a person.
We truly could not have wished for anything more from such a fantastic experience.
Can’t wait to come back !
