Very professional, very knowledgeable, very friendly and thoughtful throughout the whole process, from initial booking to getting you the best deal and welcoming you home. They get to know you and what you like and don't like. Then advise you once you have outlined what you are looking for. There are no hidden costs and no fee just great advice. They will book everything for you and take out all the stress. I have used Suitcase travel for my last 2 holidays and will definite use them again. I have no hesitation recommending them to anyone.

A really excellent independent family run travel company. Really helpful in every aspect of planning our River Cruise on the Danube. Recommended to the company by two friends and it did not disappoint. They were very knowledgeable about Norway and the pros and cons of Havila and Hurtegruten. All was organised to suit our timings including flights, transfers, hotel and cruise booking and all went very smoothly and all the separate parts covered by ATOL. We would use this company again.

We came across Suitcase Travel when we were browsing options for a Norwegian fjord cruise. We found a blog comparing Hurtigruten and Havila which was really helpful. We chose Havila and booked through Suitcase Travel (though they are not local to us; that didn't make any difference) We are very glad we did so. They also booked stays in Oslo and Bergen (and a railway connection via Flam). All went smoothly. Suitcase Travel were friendly, polite and efficient. Just what we want from a travel agent!

We have just returned from a fantastic 12 day Norwegian coastal cruise on a Havila ship organised by Suitcase Travel.

This was the first time we had ever been on a cruise; although Suitcase Travel did say it is unlike any other cruise and more of an experience. It certainly was, and what a fantastic experience.

Suitcase Travel responded to all our initial apprehensive concerns and requirements and gave a thoroughly reassuring explanation of what the cruise was like in every aspect.

The Havila ship itself was brilliant. Great cabins (we had a Seaview Superior), wonderful food and a lovely relaxing and social atmosphere (don't expect any entertainment), either inside with very large windows or out on deck, watching the beautiful Norwegian coast go by.

We could not fault how well the trip was organised by Suitcase Travel, right from the flights between Gatwick and Bergen, accommodation in Bergen on the first night, and the accommodation on board the ship right down to the cabin location on the starboard side to minimise noise when we docked at night. We never heard a thing when we docked at night, although fellow passengers on the port side said the same and when you watch the docking during the day it is a very smooth and quiet affair.

I had always wanted to go on the Norwegian coastal cruise since I saw it on television as a teenager. I am now 70 and Suitcase Travel; although they did not know it at the time; have helped fulfil my dream. As a bonus we also saw the Northern Lights!

If anyone has a similar dream to mine, then I can recommend the Havila line and I would thoroughly recommend using Suitcase Travel to organise the trip.

I used Suitcase Travel to book my first ever solo holiday to Norway. All the members of staff I was in touch with were friendly and helpful throughout. During the holiday there were a couple of issues with hotel strikes and train cancellations and it was a great comfort to know that these sorts of things would be sorted out for me.

The proposed trip along the coast of Norway was out of our usual travel experience. I usually book independently but I took good advice and used Suitcase Travel for their exceptional experience in this area. It was comforting to know that there was back up if the notoriously changeable weather disrupted any arrangements…it didn’t! We had a great trip. Highly recommended.

My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful holiday with Havila on the Norwegian Coastal Cruise. I came across Suitcase Travel during a careful online search for possible cruises around the area. I rang and was immediately assured by Mike who seemed extraordinarily knowledgeable. We decided after his advice and suitability of dates to opt for 14 days with a flight from Gatwick and a lovely hotel in Bergen. We had a spacious twin cabin on Havila Polaris where the food was delicious with appropriately small portions for three courses. My wife has told everyone who cared to listen that it was the best holiday of her life.

Every part of the holiday just works from the hotel at Gatwick to the flight, to the hotel at Bergen, to the cruise up the Norwegian coast and back, air port transfers and flight home.everything was like clockwork, I won’t hesitate to recommend suitcase travel and intend to use them again in the future

Just completed our Havila cruise to the Norwegian Fjords which was fantastic. Suitcase Travel did all the travel arrangements for us and it turned out to be cheaper and easier than arranging ourselves. They sorted all the connecting travel - flights, taxis, buses and accomodation as part of the package so all the travel went really smoothly. We booked through Suitcase Travel for our trip with Havila on the Norwegian Coastal Cruise. We initially spoke to Dylan who was very helpful in advising us which ship company to use, when to go, which flights to take and the best location of the cabin. The flights, transfers, cruise and excursions all went smoothly.
When we had queries before we travelled it was very easy to speak to someone and everyone was very helpful.

After chatting with Mike at SuitcaseTravel we were definitely going to take up the cruise to Norway. As Mike's knowledge, information and suggestions for the trip sounded brilliant! So we went to Norway to join Havila cruise line from Bergen to Kirkenes and back to Bergen. As well as Mike's help members of the team were also extremely helpful and quick to respond to any queries/questions we had prior to travelling.
The whole trip was flawless, from the flights to Bergen, bus transfers to outside the hotel for our overnight stay before joining the ship the following afternoon. Which gave us an additional opportunity to explore and enjoy Bergen. At the end of the cruise another bus transfer was provided from the dock to the airport.
Joining the ship was a lovely surprise to the high standard of facilities, friendly and helpful crew and quiet places to relax, to enjoy the amazing sights of Norwegian fjords which are achievable due to the size of the ship.
Lots of boxes were ticked during the cruise so we are extremely grateful for the suggestion and support provided by SuitcaseTravel.
