Wanted to use it as a subscription service instead of Patreon, I use Patreon and make just under $200/month there, but I have to manage all rewards and such through a private discord since the content I draw is no longer allowed there, this is a major f***ing hassle, so I wanted to switch to SubscribeStar.adult because they are a lot less content-restrictive. That's where the problem comes in though, my account has been "Pending Review" or whatever for WELL OVER A YEAR. I tried their "expedite" bull****, I've tried sending follow up emails, I've tried to message their twitter account (which closed their dms by the way, probably so they could keep ignoring people easier), and NOTHING, not a single response at all. They do not care about creators at all. And I'm posting this review to let them know they're actively missing out on money they could be making since they want to just ignore their applicants. I've made over $2000 on Patreon while waiting for SubscribeStar to bother even glancing at my emails. At least change your stupid useless FAQ to say "we'll get to it when we get to it" instead of boasting about reviews happening in "between 24 and 72 hours-."
At this point even if they decide to someday approve me I don't know if I even want to use it anymore. Abysmal support.

Been happily using them as a creator for two years. Members have reported no issues with their payments to me and payouts have been quick. One of the last bastions for adult artists to earn a living with memberships that doesn't try to dictate whether your fiction is "harmful" or not. Recommended for BDSM aligned creators and artists. SubscribeStar values us and gives us the tools needed to prevent mass-scale scraping of our content.

Not 5 stars because email notifications could be improved (only email people about posts they can access) - and support can be a bit slow to reply.

I tried for 45 minutes to add a credit card so I could subscribe to a creator. I tried both of my debit cards and I tried three different credit cards.

When I called the card issuers, they did not block any transactions.

After doing some digging on my own, I see that this is a very common problem so with their history of negative feedback, and my own awful experience trying to use the website i must give them an awful review.

I wouldn't recommend using them after just 7 days of having a subscription they canceled it after contacting them why it was canceled they claim they need proof that the card used was indeed mine terrible scam and for the subscribers there loosing members because of them dont use there site

A piece of crap, not a platform. Signed up and wanted to purchase a subscription, all my credit cards are declined for no apparent reason. I wrote to support many times, but there was no response. I have never encountered anything like this before, although I often shop online on similar platforms. Very strange, to say the least...

This website behaves like the Country it's based in : They take your money, never answer emails, leave your account "pending review" for months. Continue to take money when all "business relationship" is over.
Subscribestar is a major scam.
Another one from this beautiful country. Where anything is possible... as long as it's insulting enough to the rest of the world.

Cancelled subscription and still getting charged. You are better off going through your bank and blocking their platform and getting a new card number. It's very inconvenient to be without a card and I don't know how it's even legal to charge someones account without their consent and get away with it. Id like a refund for the unauthorized transactions.

Terrible. This company is highly unprofessional. Avoid this platform and use another one instead. There is not an active support team. Questions about memberships and payments will not be answered and there is nothing you can do about it.

Horrible experience... Already waiting over 2 months for my page to be reviewed. And I've never experienced a more horrible support than on this site! 0 responses and over 10+ emails sent and multiple Twitter DM's.

I went to set up an account and can't even get the verification email ive checked junk spam everything and i got nothing

I have been a dev at subscribestar for almost a year. No problems whatsoever. Payouts are quick, page has a good uptime with very few bugs and posting updates/polls/news works flawlessly.

Can't complain other than they're slow on Firefox. Don't know what it could be but theyre are just ridiculously slow.

Had months of problems with a subscription. Even when I deleted my account the company took my money. They then refused to refund more than the last payment. Fraud by any other name. If you are a creator know your partner will take money from your subscribers without their permission.

Their support team (support subscribestar.adult) is a mess ! They never answer any of your questions even tho they say "Let us know if you have any questions."
They simply ignore you or mark your email as "spam" and never ever write back. The worst support i've ever seen in my entire life. And i am a user with over 100 subs and around 700/month. They don't care about your issues. They never fix any problems. They don't help. They don't answer questions.

So many fake reviews here lol, very sad lmfao.

Enables creators to set exploitative payment settings where you get charged fully for partial months and lose access immediately upon unsubscribing even after you already paid for that month. I paid two months worth of fees for one and a half week of access to content. Any platform where that is even possible is not worthy of your support.
