Second Service of our GAZCO Studio 1 Gas Fire
Jon Thompson conducted the 2nd service on my GAZCO Studio 1 gas fire on 10th February. The whole process, from initial booking via Peter at GAZCO, to the completion of the service, was seamless and stress free. I wish I could say the same about the after-sales treatment I received from Washington Fireplaces who sold/installed the fire.
Jon was very professional, helpful and incredibly thorough. He dismantled the fire, took all the necessary readings, replaced the pilot assembly and put everything back together giving all parts a really good clean as he went along. He also gave use some useful tips on how to use the fire.
Excellent service from start to finish. And we love this fire.

Superb customer support by Keller Rees.
I would like to take the time to thank Keller Rees who works in the Customer Service department/ technical issues for Stovax.
He was polite, charming, friendly and helpful and informative.
At no point was he impatient or did he rush me.
The technical issue was resolved successfully and this is completely due to the time Keller spent with me.
Keller is an example of what Customer Services should look like. He represented himself and Stovax (the company) perfectly well and I thank him for the time he spent.

VALVE REPLACEMENT
We had been having a few problems with our LPG gas fire since installation and we asked Gazco to send their own representative to look at it. Reza was quite excellent and helpful. Not only did he replace the valve unit which we had been told was broken but he gave us some most useful hints on operating the fire. We are now much more informed and confident on using it. A big thank you.

Excellent Service from Reza – Stovax Gazco
I would like to express my appreciation for the excellent service provided by Reza from Stovax Gazco.
Our fireplace stopped working while still under warranty, and the company handled the situation very efficiently from start to finish. An engineer was arranged promptly, and the issue was resolved without any hassle.
Reza was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He carefully explained what had caused the problem and took the time to show me how to use the fireplace properly to get the best performance from it. He made sure everything was working perfectly before he left and answered all of my questions clearly.
We are very pleased with both the customer service from Stovax Gazco and the high standard of workmanship provided by Reza. Thank you for such a smooth and professional experience.

Stovax Vogue Midi Wood Eco
The switch to the Stovax Vogue Midi Wood burner was a big improvement – much more heat stays in the room, it’s efficient, uses less wood, and creates less dust. The installation was quick and tidy and I would highly recommend both the Stovax Vogue Midi Wood burner and the Home Heat installers.

Gas log fire repair
The engineer came to repair our gas /log effect fire. He arrived in the time slot arranged, was efficient in identifying the problem and replacing the part , was clean and tidy and explained what the problem was. Cleaned up the fire and left things in a good state of repair.
The only thing was that it was a long time to get the appointment . From before Christmas to mid February - not the engineers fault .

Problem solved - really excellent service.
Although it took 5 weeks for an appointment, the Engineer did a superb job and fixed our stove which previous service engineers had said was beyond repair. I am, naturally, delighted with Gazco’s service.

I’m beyond delighted! Gazco eStudio 135R is fabulous
Just had the Gazco eStudio 135R electric fire fitted and I am even more delighted than I knew I would be! It looks amazing, it’s perfect for my home, apparently cheap to run & has a 4 year warranty.
I’ve just moved into a new build home and was initially disappointed that I couldn’t have a gas fire installed (my previous home had a Gazco Riva2 gas fire which was fabulous) so when I saw the Gazco electric fire I knew I would be happy.

Gas Fire Repair
As per all Stovax/Gazco engineers that have attended my house Tim Smith did a great job. Not only replacing parts but also paying attention to seals etc to ensure the fire would operate efficiently. The fire looked like new after the glass was cleaned thoroughly . Was great to have it working again after the cold spell.

Customer service?? Yes, it turned out very well.
Maybe it's me but I don't think Gazco's customer service is acceptable. Our gas fire is less than 2 years' old and has developed a problem. I contacted Gazco nearly a week ago and was told an engineer would be in touch. The fire is under warranty. Today I emailed again asking when it was likely to happen, pointing out that it is midwinter and it is the primary source of heating in our living room of two late 70 year olds with health issues. The response was a terse "will be in touch at least 2-3 weeks in advance of an appointment being available." That will be a minimum of 4 weeks then without sufficient heating, Can't get anyone else to repair it, of course, as it wil invalidate the warranty.
Update: the power of Trustpilot!! Gazco contacted me today and arranged an urgent engineer visit which resolved our problem. Thanks for pulling out the stops for us Gazco.

Thank you for updating your review, and we are sorry that you had felt the need to write a negative one in the first place.
Although we prioritise warranty claims, all our engineers work on a 2-week schedule, this means that unless there is a cancellation, our engineers are fully booked for that period. Also, if there is a spike in demand lead-times can be longer as the engineer can be booked up past the two weeks, currently this is the issue in your area.
Luckily our engineer was working close to your property on the day you posted your review, so we were able to arrange a visit at the end of the day.
Please note. it would not have invalidated the warranty if your own gas safe registered engineer had repaired the appliance.
We are pleased however that we were able to resolve the issue for you quickly and that you and your wife can enjoy the fire again and I will pass on you positive comments to the relevant engineer.
