Do not buy anything from this company! This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
I bought 4 DSS chairs between Christmas and New Year, I heard nothing for 2 weeks. I emailed a few times and had NO response. When I called they said they were waiting for the legs and didn't have the colours in stock I ordered, I then received a box with just the tops, no legs 12 days ago. I still havet had legs, they are no picking up the phone and not responding to emails. I am now reported this order as fraud, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Good quality for the price. Very pleased with dining table and eames style chairs. Only disappointment was time it took to arrive. I ordered in November and it arrived end of January. If you don’t mind waiting then you should be pleased with what arrives.

I received my marble tulip table today, nice natural stone and kind and helpful delivery man. I would recommend stone butterfly to my friends.

My 2 egg chairs finally arrived after a short delay. I ordered 2 in teal they look fantastic in our new reception area, a real statement piece of furniture. Really happy to work with stone butterfly I will be back for more.

Whenever I got in contact with the team they were always very polite and always gave me an response as to where my chairs were. And before I knew it my chairs were out and on there way to me. I now have a lovely tulip set to tie the room together

Cannot express in strong enough terms the terrible experience we’ve had with Stone Butterfly. They owe us nearly £2,000 for furniture that was received (twice) of poor quality (which they agreed). Despite agreeing a full refund and confirming the processing of it (three times), including that our money had ‘been processed’ and would shortly clear in my account, the following week, as if by magic, they claimed all of the faults had vanished! They now claim there weren’t any faults and, as the pieces had been customised (some poorly executed paint to door/drawer fronts), they weren’t sending the refund. This being nearly 4 weeks after agreeing their poor quality and taking the furniture back.

This relates to three pieces of furniture that they made which were also delayed. The first delivery eventually arrived with a broken leg, significant faults and hadn’t even been customised as ordered. We – stupidly – gave them an opportunity to put it right as they assured us they would be sent back in perfect condition. They weren’t.

The furniture we received had issues such as: veneer not stuck down, rough cut edges leaving serrated and exposed uneven sections, areas of chipped and missing veneer, cracked veneer, splashes/stains on surfaces, blotches, smears and discoloured areas, many of which appeared along both edges of the base and uprights of shelves as if something had been wiped along it, lengths of dried glue filling gaps and others that had leaked out of joints and been left on panels and shelves, a corner ‘repair’ of a broken piece of veneer simply stuck back on leaving unsightly discoloured edges around it, thin paint work already rubbing off on delivery, ill-fitting panels and shelves with varying gaps and misaligned corner joint.

On the delivery to return the supposedly repaired/replaced furniture, they still had numerous faults that hadn’t been rectified. We showed them to their delivery staff and phoned the manager whilst they were still with us and emailed him evidence to look at whilst we were on the phone. He also spoke with his staff that were still present and agreed they were still poor quality. He even asked us to give them a third go to get them right! We declined. He agreed a full refund and they took the furniture away.

Having agreed the quality issues, to move to a position of denial of the many blindingly obvious faults and trying to hide behind ‘customisation’ in an attempt to avoid refunding what is due, sadly speaks volumes about this company. To even suggest that customisation negates their legal obligation to supply products of appropriate quality is a nonsense. But seemingly they will try to use it – so beware! Clearly they also lied about the refund having been processed.

Having objected and set out the facts again with photos of the poor quality and asking that, as is our right - and as agreed - they refund all of our money, they have ignored us. So they have their furniture back and still have all of our money, which is obviously a significant amount to be taken from us. As it is being dishonestly withheld, this is akin to it being stolen.

Perhaps Stone Butterfly would like to use our photographs of the furniture they sent to us on their website alongside their marketing material and we presume they’ll be happy for them to be shared via social media too.

Ordered a chair back in October ‘21 and still waiting, no updates, no apologies for delay, no comms whatsoever! Tried the chat service and chat was ended 3 times!!! Tried the WhatsApp service and no response after a week!!! If you can’t get products to customers and are unable to communicate you will be left with cancelled orders and sofas sat in a warehouse or landfill and terrible reviews! Either way, not a sustainable business model! Be warned - new level of terrible service found here at Stonebutterfly

Ordered a couple of wishbone chairs in the black friday sale, they arrived well-packed in 2 days! Fantastic service and the chairs are well made and beautiful

This bed is flawless. It’s heavy and stylish and beautifully, beautifully oiled (I chose a greenish wood stain). It’s been painted with such care, it looks like a work of art. We also purchased the mattress from here too. It is unbelievably comfortable, high and firm and it was competitively priced compared to buying one from a mattress only website. The delivery guys were full of enthusiasm even when pushing the bed and mattress up the small stairway of my house. I can’t recommend this place enough for a modern, stylish hardwood piece that seems to have been put together with such care.

Came across this website and it’s a gem. Got the most stunning designer looking chair, so on trend. My study looks like it’s stepped out of 1970s love it. Thanks
