I love their yarn, especially the jolie 100g yarn ball. I absolutely love it, is super soft bulky and the colors are AMAZING! I have ordered from the about 4times my order always arrived on time. The website is easy to navigate and Their yarn prices are really affordable. Quality, great price, and beautiful yarn! What else caan one ask for? Lol

I’ve loved my Stitch and Story kits and I’ve managed to learn such a lot from the ‘How to’ videos. I’m feeling happy with my progress as I’d always given up before now when trying to knit or crochet. Feeling a real sense of achievement. I would recommend kits to anyone!

This experience was by far the best ever had. I made a mistake when ordering one of the two bags of yarn that I wanted. Contacted them and told them of my error
They responded immediately and walked me through the process of return Once i had my receipt from the postage I sent it to them as requested and received another immediate response that my replacement was in the mail

Have they heard of Customer Service? Where are they?Do they not want to resolve a problem? Their lack of contact has prevented me from recommending them. Funnily enough their website has 5/5 star reviews. All fake no doubt. Please avoid them and go somewhere where they care and are helpful.

A terrible, deceitful company!! Was given a Pusheen cross stitch set for Christmas, which I had a problem with.
I wrote the following review on their website: (but you will no longer find it there as they use Yotpo which automatically removes any bad reviews, so not trustworthy at all).

"The finishing product would look great, if only they give you enough thread. Definitely not worth the money, and don't waste your time either, you'll only end up with half of Pusheen's body..
Tried to speak with customer services to ask for more thread to complete the picture, they were condescending and asked me if I had followed the instructions properly, that they can't give me any more thread and you can't buy it from them either. Asked for a refund since I now had an incomplete product and they didn't even bother to reply. Never buying from this company again!"

First time I’ve used Stitch and story .. great pattern that is easy to understand and the wool is fab to knit with .. unfortunately a knot in each ball of wool is frustrating.

I'm in the US and prefer buying yarn from a local yarn store or a US retailer I've been buying from for almost 20 years. However, Stitch and Story offers licensed Pusheen and Hello Kitty patterns my usual shops don't, and if anything could drive me to buy overseas, that's it.

One kit did come with the wrong pattern and instructions, but the next business day after I emailed, they sent the right ones as PDFs, so that caused only minimal delay. In an order of eight items, one mistake quickly corrected is a pretty good record.

I find the polyester chenille for some of the kits very difficult to knit or crochet with the bamboo needles and hooks provided; there's just too much friction. For the knitting, a pair of high-quality steel needles made the job much easier, and I worry that as a kit for beginners that friction would make learning to knit needlessly frustrating and encourage the usual beginner tendency to strangle the stitches. However, the pattern is very well suited for beginners, and the yarn is very pleasant to work with as polyester chenille goes. Although the kit could be improved, I'm not certain it could be improved without raising the cost too far. The inclusion of stuffing and a yarn needle are nice touches that make the project truly all that's needed, if one can get along with the wooden needles.

The crochet projects are easier to do on the wooden hooks, and the skill level recommended seems accurate. Where cotton is used, the yarn is very pleasant in the hand and gets along well with the texture of the hook. Where the polyester chenille is used, I must be careful to keep my hands relaxed for looser tension, because the grabby hook and grabby yarn are again encouragement to work too tightly.

The cross-stitch kits are adorable, the provided thread is soft and pleasant with very little tendency to knot, and the inclusion of needle and hook mean that again the kit includes absolutely everything needed except scissors.

Keeping the cost of licensed use of these characters in mind, I think the kits are fairly-priced.

I was very pleasantly surprised to receive my order within a few days, during the holiday season, while the US postal service is experiencing such problems. The US retailer I prefer usually takes over a week for orders to arrive when it's not the holiday season! The correct pattern for the mistake kit arrived by email the first day the site said employees were returning from the holiday. Overall, very prompt!

I'm much more likely to buy patterns than kits for most things, but to get the colors right for such recognizable characters, I feel the time saved by buying the kits more than made up for the extra cost. I'm likely to buy more from Stitch and Story in the future.

I love this company! Beautiful, quality materials, excellent directions, and wonderful customer service. Will definitely add them to my list of favorite companies and highly recommend them.

This is a true Cinderella story.
I love the stock from Stitch and Story and my previous order did not quite have a happy ending. Not only did the Hermes courier not deliver my parcel to me, but they also marked it as delivered and the parcel has gone missing.
This happened over the weekend and I got into contact with S&S straightaway. I was fortunate enough to receive a reply from a very friendly and helpful employee- Wendy.
Initially I wanted a refund so i could process what had happened and wait sometime until I tried again. Wendy offered a refund or to resend my order and use another courier.
Delivery was also waved as another gesture of good will.
Excellent customer care and high performance resolution.

Had a problem with delivery of my order (through no fault of Stitch & Story) but contacted them for help and Kerrie replied quickly and resolved the matter immediately. Very impressed with their customer service and will definitely shop with them again!

Ordered some beanie hats this week arrived 3 days later. Super fast. Wool is beautiful and soft, instructions ready to understand. Can't wait to start. Hoping to make cable stitch cardigan next.
