Returns don’t exist unless the item is faulty and I bet they’d still not accept it. They will only give you a voucher or exchange. The item I had in my possession less than 24hrs but you can’t have your money back as it’s not company policy. Another example of the owner being a profit grabbing self absorbed individual. Disgusting. I’ll never shop here again.

I returned an item that was too small after downloading their return label. After enquiring it turns out there label sent it to H+M or some such place. Then they have a system to not deal with it. No human to talk to. They just wear you out!!

Never again! 0 refound bad policy and staff from walthamstow. They refuse to give q name, only supervisor duty manager involve GDPR for bage name (I explain him what means this). Dont buy anymore !!!!!

Sports direct bought old companies and rebranded them as their own. They pay their workers bad money too. They are greedy fat bloke company.

This was an issue with their online service who refused a refund, having sent the wrong size boots to my son, (he is 6.5 they sent 3.5). Royal Mail said they had returned them, Sports Direct online said they hadn't received the returned boots. Stalemate and my son was £62 down.
Lee contacted online services and resolved the situation. It had taken since January 4th to resolve this with constant emails to different people. Great to have the support of the company despite the time taken.

What, no ZERO STARS option? - which is what these scammers deserve.
Dispute for nearly two months, upwards of 20 messages to “customer service” with a different person responding using same cut and paste nonsense every time.
They sent wrong item, refuse to refund despite photographic evidence, and refusing to refund for an item I sent back.
I cannot believe this company is allowed to continue trading under UK law, read the reviews and run a mile.

One star is generous. My 82 year old mum ordered a Christmas present on line. Delivered by evri when she was out but was not there when she got home. She rebought item in store and requested a refund in accordance with the law. Sports direct have been fobbing her off for a month. Now going to small claims court. This company is an utter disgrace

Appalling customer service!
Faulty item that was refused return even with evidence from the manufacturer themselves that the item was faulty!
3 trips to store, store referred to online customer services, online Cs can't deal with it, referred back to store, then to stores area manager. Store refuses to give area manager details for further escalation etc etc. Overall experience = Absolutely dreadful service.

Online service extremely poor sent wrong order wrong address don’t answer emails

Worst service ever, ordered a pair of shoes on 21st Jan, estimated delivery 28th which is way more than any other provider and you are paying for delivery. Today is 29th and there is still no sign of delivery or any updates. And I have no way to reach out to find when the order will be delivered. I would have cancelled but can’t as they don’t offer refunds either. Never buy again!

I will never shop at Sports Direct again, here is why.
1. You have to pay for delivery no matter how much you spend.
2. If you buy a faulty item from them the problem is yours not theirs.
3. They will not replace a faulty item if you buy online, you have to order it again and pay for delivery again.
4. You can't simply return items to store after buying online.
5. My refund in the form of a voucher can only be used in certain sections of the shop.
6. Customer service is a joke.

Appalling Service! Will never be using this company again! Ordered 2 pairs of joggers, received only one. Raised a query straight on arrival, was asked for pictures of parcel and missing item???!!!. Provided pictures! Was told that the item has been registered by the scan machine at the packing facility and definitely sent to me?! Is it another Horizon malfunction? :-( . And, in the end, was basically called a liar for £15 joggers! Wow! Sports Direct! What an experience! Never again!!!

Took my money, not all items were delivered. Told me that all items were packed. Nothing more they'll do, no refund, no replacement.
Avoid, never use

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT SO NO HELP THERE.

THE TRAINERS WERE BROUGHT AS A GIFT, AND ON A GUEST ACCOUNT. CANT ACCESS THE QR CODE NEEDED TO RETURN THE ITEM BECAUSE ACCORDING TO THE WEBSITE IT DOESNT RECOGNISE THE ORDER NUMBER OR EMAIL OR LAST 4 DIGITS OF PHONE NUMBER.

SO NOW I AM STUCK WITH A PAIR OF TRAINERS THAT ARE TOO SMALL AND £105 OUT OF POCKET.

SHOP AT JD SPORTS OR FOOTLOCKER INSTEAD, THEY NEVER GIVE THIS MUCH HEADACHE.

Do not waste your money buying anything from this company. They will try and make things as difficult as humanly possible when you need to return something that's faulty and as soon as you complain even about how difficult they are being, they will leave the chat. They are just not worth the hassle. I will never ever use them again.

Just tried to return a faulty pair of Adidas trainers to your Rushden Lakes store, they keep having the velcro come undone causing my 3 year old to fall over.

Only worn twice and with proof of purchase.

So called Assistant Manager by the name of Lee (wouldn’t give me his surname - said his payroll number of 353720 would suffice) acknowledged the fault but refused a refund just stating that they don’t refund for faulty velcro?!

How is that correct?! How is that any type of customer service?

Told nothing will happen in store and I should email customer service.

Judging by all the reviews and comments online that will be pointless.

Bought items on 27 dec from Croydon Purley way retail store with my children aged 12 and 10. Was advised at the till I could get a refund if bought back within 28 days. On 2nd Jan went to store to return items that did not fit me well. Store manager Craig out rightly said he doesn't refund but can exchange. I told him I was advised i could return it for a refund. He heard my 10 year old son stated about the refund and wasn't willing to even listen to my child and alleged my child was making it up. Craig asked me to seek help online with customer service and not at the store even after purchasing the item from the store directly. Upon searching online for reviews the customer service is as bad as the store. Spoke to many customers who walked in that store that day and they too agreed sportsdirect is wrong and should refund it. 1 item (electric toothbrush) was bought opened from the store and other 2 items (trousers) I did not even look at it properly reason after trial at home being its unfit for purpose as they did not have a trial room. Tags all intact. Receipt of £50.83 (8 items in total) The manager accused me of opening the item (electric toothbrush) which was in a damaged packaging when purchased (as was the last item displayed on shelf). I gave him the benefit of the doubt to check the cctv but he wasn't ready to.
Tried to contact the customer service over the phone (standing at the store) and 11 calls were made from 1439h and no response.
Also showed the manager the rules thats mentioned on sports direct.com web page as below.
"If a refund or reimbursement is payable to you, we will transfer the money using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase. If we cannot refund via the original payment then a cheque will be raised to the address on the order (except in the case of a full or part purchase of goods using a Gift Card, as detailed below)."
How do I get my hard earned money when the goods I bought is not fit for purpose ?

Michael James Wallace Ashley and management of Fraserburgh Group should get more involved in the brand and make it easier for customers to get their refund.
Customers walking in your store earns their money by hard work and not by cheating others like your store does.
