Customer service doesn’t exist, unacceptable, I’m not buying anything again from them

Hice una devolución de unos zapatos Nike comprados en Sports Direct, entregados en sus instalaciones el 23 de mayo de 2025. A día de hoy no he recibido confirmación de recepción ni el reembolso correspondiente. He enviado varios correos y no he obtenido ninguna respuesta.

Para colmo, el cliente tiene que asumir los gastos de devolución, algo que muchas otras tiendas cubren. UNA VERGÜENZA.

He abierto una reclamación a través de mi banco, y si no recibo una solución en breve, presentaré una queja formal ante Consumo. No pienso volver a comprar en Sports Direct y no recomiendo esta tienda a nadie. La atención al cliente es inexistente y la gestión postventa, lamentable.

If you order online they charge £4.99 delivery, ok fair enough, but if you need to return the item there stores won’t take them you have to pay another £4.99 to deliver it back.
Absolutely rubbish just paid £9.98 for an item that didn’t fit.
Avoid go to JD sports instead much better service.

Poor Customer service , received wrong item, cant place an order and cant return order, worst website , worst service.

Today I was served by a colleague at your sport direct store in didcot, and when asked for a gift receipt the lady had refused to give me one even though I had mention at checkout it was a gift.

When i requested to speak to the manager the lady serving me just went on her walkie talkie and the manager just said “NO” to the question of getting a gift receipt, with being present or knowing the correct circumstances.

This is very bad customer service as I am aware of your return policies being no money back at all, which in itself is not the best, but to give a present to a 6 year old child who doesn’t want it to then not be able to do exchange it or get a gift card is terrible customer service and a horrid experience for a customer.

Very bad customer service. You can't talk to anyone on the phone. They have only chatbot and email. You have to pay for postage for returns! Email inquiries take days for them to respond. It cost me £11 to send them back the wrong item with tracking and signature on receipt! And then you'll wait a century for your money back, constantly reminding them about yourself via email. I'll never use this store again! and I warn you too! Don't buy anything from them!

I appalled that this company says number 1 sports brand in the UK and they can’t deliver on SERVICE. It’s disgusting trying to contact anybody via email.

There’s no other way to really contact them. Nobody has replied back of course.

I messaged them on Instagram since it says ‘DM for customer service’ Of course no reply there either.
It’s disgraceful. Do NOT place an order online and do not expect to get a refund.

If you want an order cancelled the lady said to just not accept the parcel once it gets delivered. Not sure I trust I’ll hear from anybody at SD if my parcel even gets sent back there!

I bought 2 pairs of trainers 1 puma 1 Reebok they ripped in 3 months,cheep crap company,never buy from them in my life ,prefer Tkmax or direct Nike or Adidas store !

I purchased Nike Academy Junior Football Gloves online for my 9yr old great grandson. There is absolutely no stretch in the wrist band so it is impossible to put them on.
The shop would not exchange them and to report the fault online has been a nightmare. I must have entered all the details at least 6 times, each time the site closed down on me. They ask for a photo which i found impossible to load on the site.
ALL IN ALL THEY SOLD ME RUBBISH AND TREATED ME LIKE RUBBISH WHEN I TRIED TO USE THEIR RETURNS PLATFORM. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM SPORTS DIRECT AGAIN

I took my faulty jacket back but the lady refused to give me a refund or exchange. I'll never shop there again very rude member of staff.

worst website ever. 4.99 delivery. 4.99 return. pay 10 pounds for trainers that i didn't keep as came too small. no customer service whatsoever. avoid this place whatever you do

Tried to take my daughters trainers back with the receipt.

Ordered 4 pairs of tracksuit bottoms online. Received 2 in the first parcel, 1 the next day and 1 the day after that. Returned all 4 together the very next day (too small)
This cost a further £4.99 to do. They emailed to say they had received all 4 pairs and wait 14 days for refund. Then the emails started..
You changed your mind but we will not charge you for doing this... what???
You returned them after 28 days so no refund???.. Not true either
We can't find them???? I have the email saying you got them!!!
2 pairs we can't find, so they aren't from here???
How can you have all 4 pairs, then say you can't find 2 of them.. it was all the same order!!!
That's just a few ridiculous emails I have received. I have sent them proof of everything and they still refuse to refund.
STAY CLEAR OF THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS.
They won't help in store, their phone numbers don't work and you can't get any help by emailing them.

Horrendous experience.
Ordered 3 items, only 2 arrived.
Contacted customer service who took ages to reply and eventually told me they had checked their CCTV and all 3 items had been dispatched and therefore the matter was closed. I asked for details of the courier and this supposed CCTV and was told the matter was closed and to complain to a third party. Ghastly experience will never order from them again.
I’m continuing to email to pursue them for the courier details, CCTV and any still images but am yet to receive a response. Ultimately they are responsible for the parcel and whether it was tampered with in transit or in their warehouse is not my concern, they have a duty to deliver me all 3 items and have failed to do so. As a pregnant, disabled lady I do not need the stress and upset caused by this horrendous experience.

their on line site refers you to Customer Services, which does not work, if you have a complaint on a used product.
Dont bother contacting them as they are NOT THERE !!

The shop manager didn’t bother and the staff were on the phone
Wish I can’t get my money back and go somewhere else but they don’t give refund
So never again will go to Feltham branch
Need a better management someone who cares about who buy in there

Store told me I had until end of January to exchange, returned to store mid January to be told I had exceeded 28 days, when I purchased I was told returns were extended for Christmas. Trying to get any customer service from this Company is impossible, I have escalated through Resolver which is still ongoing. Store were so rude and unhelpful (Basildon Mayflower) I will never purchase anything from their stores again. I can really understand why this company have such bad reviews. Please be mindful if you buy from them there is no customer services if you have a problem, if you contact them they just reply politely saying they cannot help. With three sons I buy lots of sportswear, but never again from this company.

Wish I had read the reviews! Not only is it difficult to contact them, returns process is not clear, you have to pay the postage for it and they only refunded 1 item when I returned 2. I have another item from the same order that their site informed me was 'not possible to return this item' which I'm now told to send back to them separately...but how do I know I'll actually get a refund for it! After going around in circles and wasting lots of my time I've been told they won't do anything else and to contact a third party.

Very poor customer service, you can’t talk to anyone by phone, only chat bot or email. Order online was lost, had to wait around 10 days for delivery in total. You have to pay postage for return and email queries take them days to reply to. Do not buy anything from them.
I’m yet to receive a refund.

I made an order for tracksuit bottoms online, paying for next day delivery at a cost of £9.99. I did this with Sports Direct as they have a next day delivery option as I had an event for which they were needed. However after ordering and paying extra the order did not come the next day. I tried to contact the customer service’s department but was met with an online chat bot. Which didn’t recognise the order number or what I wanted. Well, I went out and bought what I needed from a high street store so I had what I wanted for my event. Disappointed of course. The order came the following day and I also received an email with a discount code for a future order from Sports Direct. Which I don’t need as this experience won’t see me running back for more poor service and over paying for premium delivery which I never received. Not happy with this kind of big business which doesn’t respect customers. Order number SD40000119522324
