Backed their Dragon Eyed Dice on Kickstarter almost 5 years ago now. They've left so many customers in the lurch with no dice, no refund, and no communication. They read emails as I submitted a question unrelated to this and got a response but they are ghosting their kickstarter backers.

Backed their Dragon Eyed Dice on Kickstarter almost 5 years ago now. They've left so many customers in the lurch with no dice, no refund, and no communication since June of 2025. Yet they give dice to influencers and have them at conventions.

I funded their kickstarter project for dice in 2021 and have had nothing from them. I've reached out to them twice over the last month and had zero response. Their last online update was a half year ago and have since gone dark.

This company has effectively ghosted and defrauded their supporters.

This company is fraudulent and does not actually follow through with fulfillment of orders. I backed them on a kickstarter campaign for Dragon dice back in 2021 and still to this day 11/05/2025 I have not received anything from them. They do not respond to inquiries about orders and platform based updates only happen every 6 month or so. Do not back them, or purchase anything from them. They will steal your money!

Zero stars is what these guys deserve. This is one of the most untrustworthy companies I’ve ever attempted to do business with. I am one of MANY of the suckers this company basically stole money from in order to create their “DragonEye Dice.” I am an original backer for the dice from Kickstarter, I backed them in 2021 and like so many others, I still have not received my dice. Turns out these guys are selling the dice me and the other backers paid for, on their site, without giving us our pledges. DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK! Best to stay clear in my opinion.

I have ordered a full set of the Elite Dangerous RPG settting.
First one seemed gone missing, as even the staff couldnt get any reply from the shipping company.
So they issued a replacement parcel.

Both parcels arrived with a delay of roughly a week to each other.
I left the second parcel at the postal office, getting back in touch abt how to handle. In the end could keep it.

There's no point to complain about how the staff handled the situation.
Just the plain tracking number on the order excerpt isnt enough for me to find who is transporting it.
The tracking number as a link to the tracking website would be better imho.

That should be fixed - and thats why its 4 stars.

My partnered ordered myself the legendary kingdom books back in November as a Xmas gift. After no word about being dispatched, both myself and my partner chased Jo. We were told at start of December the items were sent to FedEx and we received a tracking link.

This link did not update for two weeks, which lead to us emailing jo again and learning they were never sent and that they were still at the warehouse.

Jo then later advised us she would get back to us about them being sent, which she did not and then told us "You don't need to email every day to track it down". I'm sorry I have ordered similar books from other companies and they have got the books sent to me within 2 weeks. This was not on.

We have issued a full refund and stated if they do not provide us one within 7 days, we will be going to the bank to do this.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Spidermind overcharged me for a pdf file, charging me shipping. I emailed them and they said they needed to wait for money in their PayPal account. Over a month passed and nothing happened so went to PayPal, who I'm not sure even looked at my photos, because you could see I was charged for shipping and dismissed my claim after consulting them. Now I'm taking it to my financial institution. I will never buy anything again from spidermind.

Edit: after 2 months I finally got refunded the difference.

Their dragon eye dice were not at all what they promised in the campaign. It took years to fulfill, and the campaign was full of demonstrable lies and delaying tactics while they advertised their next kickstarter. I asked for a refund and they refused saying "there is no money" which is something you'd expect to hear from a Ponzi scheme and not a business that develops and sells products.

Absolutely botched Kickstarter campaign for Dragon Dice. Going on 3 years and haven't received anything! And these weren't cheap! We're talking $100 CAD. Complete rip off. Stay away.

I contacted the company prior to placing an order for their Level Up Digial (tv/monitor mount) gaming table accessory, to verify they had them in stock. They emailed me back within the day, verifying they did have them on-hand. I placed the order, and it was shipped by the next day, as promised. The item came shipped and to my door earlier than expected. The item arrived as expected, with all parts listed. I did run into a slight issue because my tv has an irregular back-shape, but immediately snapped some pictures and emailed the company, who "within the day" responded with the note they were in talks with their product engineer. Within one additional day we had the issue resolved (the fix entailed unscrewing the existing mount screws "x4 in total", flipping the main mount bar around 180 degrees, and using one of the longer set of screws provided to reassemble), then adding spacers to those screws to give the mount an extra .5 inches of distance. An extremely easy work around, that should fix any potential back irregularities for other similar tvs. They were nothing but prompt, polite, and helpful. The product works great, and well worth the time and money!

I have recently purchased their "The Skirmish" bundle which is a raised platform for playing games on. I looked here 1st to see what they were like and was some what put off making a purchase. I contacted Spidermind Games for their take on the poor reviews. They were honest and said there had been issues with production for many of their dice products and people were naturally upset. There was no issue they said about their level up product. So I used my creditcard (always a safe bet if you're unsure) and placed an order. There was a long time where there was no update from FedEx about the progress of my order (Nothing from the 2nd-10th Jan) but today 16th Jan it has arrived and is what I expected.

Comms were good with Spidermind Games (about 24hr turn around, sometimes less) and I was told to expect a delay for oversea (USA-UK).

So with that I'd say from my experience they are not as bad as other reviewers might lead you to believe, however like I stated before I have not order dice and many of the complaints seem to be about those.

Untrustworthy

I backed the Kickstarter for this company and to be frank it was terrible. Getting my order took two years, then once I got the order 6 of the nine dice purchased wound up looking pretty bad with the other three being what I would consider passible at best. Then after checking around on their site I discovered that because I was a backer of their project I wound up paying $15 dollars more for the same product they now offer.
Finally the resolution form that they set up is tedious to fill out requiring a different submission for each die in the set that has had issues.
I just really cant recommend buying anything from them. At least until they've stopped touting untested technology and actually fixed this debacle.

Had to request a refund as they breached their KS terms in relation to only using money raised to fund the project in question when they freely admitted to using funds on another, failing, project. Was like getting blood from a stone but eventually received the money I was due. Their products are good, which is why this is a 2-star review, but I no longer trust them and so will only purchase through retail. They've really damaged their reputation by behaving in the way they have.

Haven’t received my product, and they don’t seem to have any real intention of fulfilling or refunding me. It’s been close to 2 years and no solution or willingness from spidermind to resolve it.

Backed their Dragon eye dice. The project has been woefully mismanaged since the start, updates are few and very often misleading. Now product is being delivered, the quality is terrible. Dice are misshapen, discoloured, poor quality of resin. This issue is prevalent throughout this product range. Their customer service is rude, dismissive and full of excuses why issues are not their fault. Now expecting customers to wait further after already waiting over 2 years while they sell new products so they can afford to replace the faulty ones.

Awful company, avoid at all costs!

I have backed two of the company's kickstarters for the brilliant gamebook series Legendary Kingdoms and I couldn't recommend them enough. I understand there has been some issues with their Dragon-dice campaign that I was considering backing, but I trust that they are doing what they can to sort that out. Kickstarters always involve risk, but I was amazed at the quality of the books when I got them. Not only the writing (an innovative and immersive open world solo RPG with characters that you learn to love) but the paper, the illustrations, the binding, everything. I will definitively back them again.

They used to promptly respond to my queries when I was giving positive feedback but when i got concerned at the lack of responses to all the many many many bad bits of feedback I was seeing, suddenly they ignored me. Terrible company for lack of communication. I’d avoid them

The first thing I kickstarted was the ice trays. I eventually got them, but it took a long time. Months. Long enough that I had forgotten about them until they arrived.

Still, I backed another campaign: the dragon eye dice. It is now 3 YEARS later, and the dice have not been delivered, and it appears they have stopped communicating with backers. At this point, I would be absolutely shocked if the dice ever were to show up.

I am very disappointed with this company. They had a cool product, and the opportunity to do very well with it. Instead they shattered trust with their backers. I will likely not back any of their future projects.

Purchased multiple items from their website. Never shipped and no communication but they did take my money. Total scam.
