Service was reasonably good, waiters were friendly but not really attentive at all considering it was not busy at all on a Sunday evening, had to wait a while, got fedup and even had to ask before someone came to take our order.
The menu is way too expensive for the food being served, food nothing special anymore, previously food & portions were much better but now just meagre portions, no salad with meal, SV was normally our main destination, but not anymore, unless I have no choice it is very unlikely me or my my family or friends will ever visit any of the branches ever again, honest opinion.

First time ordering lamb rogan josh was to die for... This time lamb rogan josh was probably to die from. It was deffo not lamb. Mutton probably or goat but certainly not lamb. All gristle. Was horrendous. Won't be ordering that again

A very good service, best waitress and waiters you will get. Chicken and lamb chops was so delicious. Highly recommended it to others.

Today I needed my curry fix and because my usual supplier hygiene rating had dropped I thought its time to change. I eat curry approx once a week and have done since I started in 1960 with my love affair with curry. So many curries under my belt.
Ordered Onion Bahji ,Bhuna prawn on puri.
Onion Bahji was twice or three times fried so rock hard, and overcooked. Bhuna prawn lacked a authentic flavour plus raw sliced Onion on the top was a shock... Dhansak I have not looked at yet tasted a wee bit on spoon which was too hot for Dhansak and too sweet too much jaggery or sugar.. no texture of lentils so it could going the bin may try it tomorrow.. .the other was a plain curry lacked authentic flavour it was like it came out of a jar. It had no base flavour at . Very disappointed. As it arrived like lightening never had a takeaway delivered so fast....

Mainly a positive experience. Last order had 2 out of date products & they would not refund without "proof". I had binned them & not taken a photograph. Not a disaster as they not expensive, just breads.
Shipping is now a much better price to Spain & I am happy to be able to get ALMOST everything in one place. Stocking some more Thai items would be great, especially basic green & red curry pastes.

Excellent service, even though it was very hectic, specially by Naaz, who took great care of us! Overall very lovely staff and great atmosphere! Would definitely recommend Spice Village if you are in Southall.

I ordered atta recently and I got ashirvad atta with full of worms and insects. When I sent them a picture and asked them for refund. I did not get any reply. I called them and they mentioned that I would get 50%rrfund for the bad product which is already not fair and did not get a single cent back from them so far. NEVER EVER ORDER FROM SPICE VILLAGE

I had a very bad experience with spice village team and their website. The new website has a lot of problems and is very slow, i had error while paying through there new website and was double charged for my order which at the end was cancelled by them. When i reached out to spice village they stated they haven’t received the amount and asked me to contact their payment processor. Firstly this issue should have been handled by spice village rather than pushing me to speak to their payment processor company. This is unprofessional behavior and spice village dint seem to care to provide a resolution. I haven’t still received my money back since past 2 months i have been in communication with both spice village and their payment processor with no luck. I had a terrible experience overall.

I ordered groceries (in total 14kg) anticipating that they will be delivered at my doorstep and I don't have to carry them from the nearest Indian grocery shop. But the delivery service (DHL) neither deliver it at my doorstep nor ring my neighbor and kept the package for pick up in the package station a bit far away from my location.
I had to travel there and pick up that heavy carton box and for me honestly, it was a terrible experience.

bad experience with perishable items - other competitors do well in this segment. and worst, On complaint about this- customer service is so rude and unapologetic that you regret the purchase overall. Lost me forever after I was being relized that I made buying mistake-- that too 3 times!! never again.

The time I knew about Spice Village I have been ordering my monthly needs of Indian groceries from it. The best part is that they also send some veggies, which can survive the logistics, as well making it one stop shop for all things required. It also satisfies my Gujarati palate of snacks and needs and much more options from northern and western Indian brands. Overall it has been a very good experience always.

The latest delivery happened without any issues. Was well packed. Even though the order was made on Monday, the vegetables were fresh when they reached. Good job from the team. Keep up the good work :)

I am happy about quality of delivered Products as well as large variety of items available in Online shop.
Also free shipping with minimum purchase of 34€ is the least which I have ever found in any Indian Shop in EU.
