Set up my Sovos Account on 2/19/2026. Tried logging back in to download reports and cannot get logged in. They have no customer support number to call. the only option is to request a sales call. Salespeople don't even know how to direct you to get assistance. I will be going back to the provider I used last your and disputing the charge to our credit card when is it processed later this week as I cannot even contact anyone to cancel our account. Poor website. Poor customer service. Poor technical support. There are so many other options this should not be one.

Sovos customer support is absolutely awful. I very seldom leave bad reviews and when I do I virtually never rant but I will rant about how terrible/non existent their support is.

I’ve been using them for years and more then once they charge me way more per month every month then they’re supposed to.

When this happened the first time it took over 6 months to get anyone to reply to me. I opened dozens of support tickets. I sent dozens of email direct to support, admin, finance and all the personal sovos email I could find and no one would even reply. I spent countless hours on hold only to have the call disconnect. Finally someone replied after 6 months and fixed it.

Then a couple months later it started again and this time is it now close to a year of being overcharged and still no help.

I’ve had a a few people finally reply and say they’ll look into it but they never get back to me.

It’s so frustrating and unfair. Once my credit card expired and within days they contacted me and threatened to cancel my services but when they owe me money they don’t seem to care at all.

I use EFileMyForms, now owned by SOVOS to file 1099s. The program has been clunky for years, but now the customer support is horrible. I am having an issue with 2 factor authorization. They repeatedly send me the same article from the FAQ page. IT IS USELESS
1) My account is locked due to failed attempts and they ignore that
2) Google Authenticator is no longer linked to EFileMyForms and I cannot re-link without a QR code or product code.

I gave them all the details 3 emails ago and no solution. No acknowledgement of the ACTUAL PROBLEM. Just a link to the FAQ about 2 factor. Useless.

We engaged with SOVOS for E invoicing but extremely bad experience. The team is not capable and do not revert with actions and have no sense of urgency. Do not recommend going with SOVOS for Einvoicing.

I am a client of Taxify Sovos and have been trying to contact them regarding a tax filling from the past quarter that they haven't filed yet and we are now accumulating penalties and fees and they don't reply to any of my several emails sent through the past month, if you call their support team they are always busy and the machine asks us to try calling again later, that happened every time I called and I called on different times of the day and through several days. It is impossibel to contact any employee at Taxify sovos and they keep charging our credit card even without providing any service to us.

We cancelled the Sovos Taxify service in Feb of 2024.
They acknowledged the cancellation but then charged our card in March 2024 and would not respond to questions by email. The phone number for support went only to voice mail.
We had to dispute the cahreg through our credit card company to recover the payment.
In 2025 they again contacted us for payment but thankfully our card had expired so they could not just charge us directly. the support phone number is now disconnected.
In my experience this company is not trustworthy.

We have cancelled our contract and yet they are still chasing for an annual payment for the service that we aren't using. In addition, the reason we cancelled is because their support was unreliable and left us exposed on overseas Sales Tax issues.

As an international e-commerce company, we hired Sovos UK in early 2023 to manage our VAT registration. After paying €4,500 and providing every requested document, the registration remains incomplete 1.5 years later. Despite repeated attempts to get updates, we received no response. The lack of professionalism and communication is shocking. Sovos failed to deliver the promised service, causing significant delays for our business. If you are a foreign business looking for VAT services in the UK, I strongly advise against using Sovos.
