As always, there was good communication from Steve at Southwest Firewood from the start. I received a message confirming delivery and on the day John put our logs exactly where I had asked him to and covered them with the tarpaulin - cannot praise him enough! An excellent company to do business with!

I have ordered a few times from southwest fire wood over the last couple of years and not had any problems but this time wood was awful.

The ones i ordered this time were seasoned hardwood 10 inches long but many of them weren't even logs, some more than 10 inches that i ordered, some far too big and need splitting again, some with mould on them and rotten and some even feel damp as though not seasoned at all.

Please can some get in touch regarding this matter and even come and collect as they are not worth burning. Luckily i had some left from before.

good quality dry hardwood, delivered efficiently and on time. Would have liked a couple of days notice though.

The company took my order by internet and I paid using Paypal; painless. There were roadworks outside my property so the delivery was rescheduled and I was kept informed regularly. When the delivery was made, the pallet was placed where I needed it. The only problem I can see is that some of the logs are too broad to fit in my log burner, so I shall have to get out my log-splitting maul and do some work.

Delivery driver was polite and helpful, even chopping up several 'logs' into smaller kindling pieces. Many thanks.

Good product but delivery schedule can take quite a while

Ordered almost a month ago and have not received my order or any communication from Southwest Firewood.

Pallet of hardwood logs contained off-cuts, softwood logs and even some rotten wood. Many pieces were so large they had to be chopped into usable logs by ourselves - one piece of wood was split into 8 logs, and many others split into 5-6 logs.
