We have been using South cost systems since December 2023.
We are really happy with the service, very responsive to any queries we have.
Ben has been super helpful. Great knowledge and suggestions to make sure the system really works for our business. Always happy to help us develop our understanding too.

been using these guys for a long time now and everytime i phone up they solve and issues or queries straight away BEN is like my hero always very helpful and such a knowledgeable guy, gets me out of the deep end each and everytime!!!!!

I've been using South Coast Systems since 2014 and continue to put more faith in their work. Since then we have not only installed scale/tils in the shops but we have been using Dimension software to invoice customers and keep track of orders, ingredients and recipes with allergen control. Now we have redesigned our website and Ecommerce section with the help of Andy @Purplewebcreative.
Very happy with the outcome and sets us up nicely for the future.

Excellent customer service and support. I've dealt with Ben on many occasions and he really is a man of his word.
They've got a great product. What I've come to realize is, if there's a problem, it's likely to be my error rather than theirs, but they always come up with the goods and resolve my issues.

I recently had the pleasure of upgrading our systems with the guidance of Paul, and it's been a game-changer. We quickly realized the inefficiencies of our old setup, but after some tweaking and getting all our products properly listed, we're excited about the possibilities this software offers. We've even scheduled additional training sessions to maximize its potential.

I'm genuinely excited about how much time this system is going to free up for me. Working with a local company that offers such personalized service for retailers has been refreshing. In the past, I've dealt with software claiming to be custom-built, only to find they fall short in practicality. But this system? It's the real deal. It seamlessly caters to every user, from tech-savvy individuals to those who are less comfortable with technology. I can confidently recommend it to anyone looking for efficiency and reliability in their operations.

We decided to go with South Coast systems after our old scales and software weren't fit for purpose. We use Dimension now to run all 10 locations. The support we get from Paul and his team is excellent, if anything needs to be done it is done in a timely manor. We are now in the process of updating our website and card machines through South Coast Systems

We was aware that our make do systems were no longer up to the task and after talking to Paul it became very apparent how much double handling of tasks we were doing. Took a few days to finish ironing out the teething glitches and get all the many products fully listed, but we are now looking forward to moving the system forward and improve again from this software. A further training session is already booked.
I am very much looking forward to this system freeing up more time for me.
Always a pleasure to deal with and pleased to be working with this locally based company who provide a bespoke service for retailers. Have worked with software systems in the past which claim to be bespoke built for the job but rarely are on a practical level and are grossly inefficient (some of our local government services should take note!) but this system really is up to the tasks it is designed for from the everyday user to the admin freak. None of our staff have had any issues using this - even the technophobes! Would thoroughly recommend to others

We’ve had an extremely frustrating year with South Coast Systems. We’ve been missold the capabilities of their Dimension ‘Pro’ software and the support we’ve received has been nonexistent.

Tracking product and safeguarding the public is broken (to put it politely) and requests for support always lands on deaf ears until you chase them. Even then, they book appointments for a few weeks in the future but then don’t bother to turn up to them.

Their software doesn’t work on Mac, meaning you have to buy a PC. In short, they hugely increase your business costs and leave you frustrated and upset when all you want to do is serve your own customers.

Had Ben come round and upgrade our dimension pro so that we now have a catering side to the scales. Very professional and knowledgeable chap

Our business has grown rapidly over the last 26 months, mainly driven by the launch of our online store and delivery website. Luckily, we have an amazing digital developer who is agile and innovative.

This allowed us to make immediate changes in line a seriously comprehensive reporting structure and it has very successful results.

Our 3 physical stores however, were a different story. The challenging software; MX Pro and extinct support from our existing contractor was pushing us to start again with our EPOS system and move away from Avery.

That is until we were recommended to make contact with SCS to see if there was any alternative solution.

Initially dealing with Paul, we sent current data and then awaited the demonstration of Dimension Pro.

It took approximately 12 minutes to decide to move away from MX Pro and give our whole business to SCS.

The software is just what we need to compliment our online. Whilst the two do not integrate, the ability to be as agile in store as we are online is like a strike of thunder.

Dimension Pro could not do everything that we wanted, but Paul and his team developed and deployed the amendments quickly.

The switchover from MX to Dimension Pro was seamless and instant. To evidence how successful it has been, we have had NO complaints from our 40+ butchers who have been using it and that alone is worth its weight in gold.

We have had some teething issues and the added complexity of the main user being a MAC user and not Windows has caused a few problems.

However, the support team, especially Ben, have offered immediate assistance and solutions, again, which is worth its weight in gold.

As with any business, the systems that take the money need to be robust. More importantly, if those systems go down (which they will) it is critical that you have a support structure that can be on hand to fix issues quickly.

The only suggestion I have is to have some weekend support cover. They may already offer this, but as a retail business, our peak times are weekends. Cover would be a massive bonus.

In conclusion, we could not be more pleased that we switched to SCS. I cannot recommend then enough.

We have had a great experience with SCS so far. We have had new tills installed which went very smoothly and we have received excellent training support. Paul and his team have been very helpful and always get back to me swiftly with any questions that I have. The Dimension Pro system is so far proving to be a very innovative software that is streamlining our processes and helping us to run our
business more efficiently, therefore providing our customers with a much improved experience.

A fabulous company to work with - helpful, knowledgeable, quick to respond and most important really hassle free. We love everything to do with our Dimension integration in store - our website links to our dimension and to our order system - making it as hassle free as possible. We run 2 websites at Christmas and the work to do this was seamless and totally perfect.

We have used SCS for a number of years and have never had any problems, they’re always on hand to help with whatever issue we have. We’ve had 3 scales and an integrated till system as well as the whole invoicing software installed in the last 3 years and wouldn’t go back. Would highly recommend them!
