Don't waste your money
Don't waste your money. Poor quality, no sound reduction and not blackout as light still comes through in the morning. One curtain is not level. Poor customer service, never answer the phone and slow to respond to emails. Couldn't be much more disapointed with them.

UPDATE: We offered the customer a refund for the purchase of a curtain track so she could use our curtains optimally. To do so, she would need to purchase a standard-priced track and send us the invoice. This offer was made several days ago, but we have not received a response from the customer.
As explained below, contrary to the customer's claim, her curtains are not effective because she installed them on a track that is not a curtain track and failed to insert the hooks as in the tutorial video.

The issue is related to the installation setup rather than the product itself.
Our support team responded to all customer inquiries within 24 business hours and provided assistance throughout the entire process.
The customer can't install the curtains correctly since:
1. Her track is not a curtain track (it has no gliders)
2. She installed the hooks incorrectly (even though they sent her a demonstration video).
She posted this review on Trustpilot to pressure us into refunding her for her custom-made curtains because she can't install the. We will not give in to this kind of practice.
Our curtains are designed to be compatible with any curtain tracks.
The customer also admitted herself by email that the noise reduction and blackout were not achieved because of the installation.

Eenvoudig te bestellen en snel geleverd. Ik heb op maat gemaakte geluidsisolerende gordijnen besteld. Ze zijn goed gemaakt, van mooi materiaal, en hebben een enorm verschil gemaakt in mijn woonkamer.

Lots of bad surprises along the way.
The prices on their website are displayed in AUD, but once you proceed to checkout, the currency switches to USD which suddenly makes it 1.5x times more expensive. No tracking link was provided (how is this still possible in 2026?) although they were shipped from overseas in 2 weeks, which is fairly fast.
I ordered curtains that are supposed to cover 3 meters of windows... in fact, they cover 6 meters in total. They're so bulky so they don't fold nicely once fitted, they're so heavy (26kg) that the provided cheap metal hooks break as they cannot sustain the load. I had to replace them all with heavy duty stainless steel hooks. The hooks design itself is bad, which makes it super hard to put on the curtain rail and creates folds in the curtain in the process.
They promote a thickness of 1cm - mine are 0.2cm. They promote a noise reduction of 21db, however, I tested thoroughly and the noise reduction is 2.1 db only!
Overall I would not recommend to order curtains there.

First of all, please kindly note that we are an US company and that our prices are displayed in US Dollar. We never displayed prices in AUD, but would like to apologize for the confusion.
Regarding the curtains you received, we would like to clarify that, as explained on our website, the curtain width should be around twice the width you cover. That is why your received a 600 cm curtain when you ordered a curtain made to cover 300 cm. This measurement takes account of curtain ripples and guarantees the best noise reduction.
Also, we would like to make sure that you installed the hooks the correct way. Could you please send us a photo by email at contact@sound-escape.co?
Regarding the noise reduction, as indicated on the thank-you card included with the curtain, it takes approximately 7 to 10 days for the curtain to regain its optimal performance. This is because it is compressed in its packaging, and the materials need time to expand to their original thickness.

They do a very good job of blocking light and better still they make a loud towncentre flat with old bay windows much more peaceful, they also help to treat the room acoustically which adds to the effect.
I am very, very happy with my well made, custom curtains from China.

Teleurstelling communicatie
Teleurstelling, na lang wachten en mailen kwam het gordijn eindelijk binnen. Het gordijn is prima. Maar ik wacht nu al sinds 20 jan op mijn factuur (ik heb het gekocht voor in mijn winkel). Ik heb er inmiddels 4 mails achteraan gestuurd. Ze hebben 1 keer zelfs terug gemaild dat ze hem binnenkort toesturen. De mail wordt dus wel gelezen maar er wordt niet op gereageerd. Wat als ik een klacht zou hebben rondom het gordijn? Dan is contact dus onmogelijk. Super jammer….
