Easy, Helpful, and EXACTLY what I was looking for!
Alex was incredibly helpful when I was looking for a warrant for my Lincoln Navigator. He answered all of my questions and explained the warranty coverage thoroughly. It is awesome that they pay the mechanic directly at the time of the any repairs. He was even able to get me a great price that was better than what I expected! I am so glad I went with SOS Auto Protect!
Definitely not worth it..
Had coverage from FEB 25 until End of November. Paid 1900 for the Ultimate coverage plan. Took my car in because of a clunking/knocking noise from the front of the car. They discovered the motor mounts were worn and causing the noise. Car is a 2018 with 85000 they said motor mounts are wear and tear items. Basically the motor mounts have to fail to be replaced!?! Absolutely ridiculous and even more ridiculous is that I cancelled my policy and got back 950 (less than 50%) after just 9 months.. Hope you have better luck..

I don't know why I was worried?!
I had no idea it was going to be so easy to get a warranty. Benjamin was extremely professional and helpful. I wasn't rushed, even though it was the end of the work day. He explained the cost, my responsibilities, which tier would work for my vehicle. I have purchased a extended warranty when I purchased the car, that didn't cover nearly as much as this policy. So far it seems I am going to be pleased with this company as well as Benjamin. Thank you again Benjamin.

Super happy
I’ve had to use my warranty a few times now and first for a differential, then a random sensor, and most recently for a fuel pump. Each time, it worked exactly how the rep said it would. I took my car to the dealer, and they paid the mechanic directly for the whole repair. No hassle, no waiting around, just like I thought it would go. Honestly really glad I signed up with them. Thanks Roberto for all the help and walking me thru it all

Don't do it
I've paid $2500 for their Ultimate plan. I filed a prior claim in March 2025 based upon information provided by California Auto, the garage that provides my oil changes (allegedly leaky head gasket; please see attached documentation- CLEARLY STATED THAT IT NEEDED FURTHER INSPECTION); at that point, there were no check engine lights or indicators of an issue. Per "Ben", SOS was supposed to send an inspector to further assess the claim; that never happened. Now, in September, my water pump is busted. I immediately took my car to Serramonte Ford when the overheating light came on, & my car was assessed the same day. Ben initially lied & said that an inspection would be held the following Monday, which never happened. I & Kyle (serramonte ford service rep) had a 3-way conversation with "Ben" (refuses to provide last name!), who arranged for a video inspection the following day; the inspection (with the shop foreman) confirmed the diagnosed issue, along with confirming that there are NO HEAD GASKET ISSUES. Ben is now refusing to honor my contract, stating that I never shown proof of having the nonexistent head gasket issue repaired; when I pointed out that he'd lied & never sent the inspector to confirm/deny whether or not my head gasket was an actual issue, he said that according to my contract, he didn't need to do so (nothing of that nature stated) because they don't cover head gasket issues...again, Serramonte Ford has confirmed that nothing is wrong with my head gaskets. Ben had the audacity to call Serramonte Ford liars (as though they'd turn down the opportunity to make more money!), & is now not answering or returning calls. Adam Miller lied, & told me that I would be receiving a call by 9/18; that never happened; what did happen was him laughing in my face & telling me my vehicle would never be fixed.
Upon reading other reviews, this seems to be a regular occurrence for them to try & avoid covered repairs. They're rude, unprofessional & based on all current appearances, conmen.
Low Pressure
I had called and filled out information to several companies and some of them even contacted me, oddly not all of them did. Joyce contacted me and was very polite and had all the information I needed to make the decision, even though they were not the least expensive. Some of the other companies were high pressure, something nobody likes, but Joyce was very understanding and easy to speak with. I feel comfortable with my decision. I am looking forward to my first claim!
