After doing plenty of comparisons, I’ve found that they definitely offer more coverage than any others when it comes to the bells and whistles of the car especially. As a contract attorney, obviously fine print is extremely important to me. After reading it thoroughly, everything checked off just as my representative had explained. No complaints whatsoever and till this date I’ve already made a return on what I had paid. Look for Robert, he’s amazing and took care of several concerns I’ve had in the past.

I am a service advisor for Mercedes Benz of Escondido. I have had a customer's car in my shop for almost a month now. I have called the 833 number multiple times and cant get any response to get authorization for my customer's repairs. Stay away from the company, quick to take your money for the warranty plan but wont help when you need them. I call the 833 number and it is just an intake line, leave a message, no call back. I have called at least 15 times in the past 2 weeks.

***UPDATE*** after waiting 2 1/2 weeks, SOS finally called me back and said they are declining all repairs....glad we waited that long for such a simple answer.

They are horrible and do not want to cover ANY repairs! Don’t waste your money! I provided them with all the previous service records they requested and I still do not get any response from them! My car has been sitting at the repair shop for two months now and SOS Auto Protect just ignores my calls and still has not even sent me a formal letter stating the reasons for declining to cover the repairs! They are very unresponsive and extremely unprofessional. I am beginning to wonder if this is a scam company. I have only received a verbal reason for not covering my repairs and they stated the issue is the parts in the car were old and that’s what caused the car to break! The car is older and that’s the reason I bought a warranty policy but apparently if your parts are getting old and showing signs of aging they will use this as a reason to deny coverage. Don't waste your money on this warranty policy because they won’t cover any repairs!

The representative was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. He knew his job, answered all my questions before I could even ask them and offered me the best price and value.
