Both myself and the client struggled to speak to anyone at Gilson Gray either by phone or email. Anytime we called reception it was just sent to voicemail and no one ever called back. The client had asked them in advance about the HTB ISA and it was left until last minute almost causing the completion to be delayed.

I work as a broker and I use Sort Refer to source conveyancers for my clients. It's really easy to use and a really quick way to access brilliant conveyancers.
My BDM Tom Hale is a real expert in mortgages and conveyancing and he was able to give me some really practical tips for getting the most out of Sort Refer and making sure that I'm providing a really good experience to every client, as well as utilising some of their other products such as Wills, Surveys, and more which I hadn't previously been using.
All in all a brilliant platform with a great team.

Tom really brought to life the true benefits of using the providers under SortRefer and how cast iron their process is in terms of ensuring first class communication is maintained throughout the customer's experience. Nikhil was brilliant, this customer was just about to lose a product we has secured 6 months ago which was much better than any deal on the market, thanks to his work and persistence we managed to get the deal over the line at the last minute. I am currently purchasing a property and using PLS as my solicitors - I have been informed that they have requested searches to be completed through your services on 19th January 2022 - now 6 weeks later we have not even received 1 search back, which is severely holding up the process of this purchase. 6 weeks to process searches (without any feedback) is very disappointing from such a reputable company who are in control of managing a very important process of the chain. Leaving a client and customer in the dark about the reason behind the delay is not fair.

I dealt with Versha at PLS. She was very knowledgeable and dealt with the case to a high standard. She has exceptional communication skills. She was very keen to ensure client satisfaction. A valuable asset to the company.

Incompetence has ended up costing my client over £12,000 more than they should have had to pay. I referred my clients in July 2022. Mortgage offer was ending on the 31/12/2022. The new rate was over 2% higher. They don't respond to emails, dodge calls, and make promises that they don't deliver on. I will never use this company again. There are better alternatives
