Best "Getting started" experience of any appliance I've bought
The process went smoothly. The only thing that could have been better was an expected arrival date from the courier. I waited a few days without feedback for the delivery.
When it arrived, I was impressed. The instructions are very clear and the design simple and robust so that the units were very easy to unpack and get up and running. It was a breeze to link them to SmartLife. It's too soon to tell how big a difference they make, but so far, very good.

Waited about 3 years for a replacement filter
For about 3 years, I couldn't buy replacement filters, they were out of stock. You could ask them to let you know when they get stock, but nonone ever contacted me. By chance one day, I checked and they had stock, so I ordered. It's expensive. When I installed the new one, the machine still said that the filter was dirty.

Firstly, we apologise for the inconvenience caused and for not getting back to you regarding stock availability. After reviewing our database, we couldn’t find any notification sign-ups linked to your email address, which is likely why you weren’t contacted. That said, we completely understand your frustration and sincerely regret the oversight.
We would also like to clarify that while there may have been periods of limited availability, we have not been out of stock for over three years as mentioned. Nonetheless, we appreciate your patience and understand how important reliable access to consumables is.
Regarding the cost of the filters, we do our best to keep pricing fair, but unfortunately, because these filters are imported, pricing is influenced by fluctuating international exchange rates. That said, we absolutely recognise the financial impact on our customers and, as a result, have introduced newer, more cost-effective units that provide better overall value. These include the Solenco 204 and Solenco 803 air purifiers. For customers looking to replace their CF8608, we recommend the Solenco 803, which offers a higher coverage area and improved performance at a more accessible price point.
Lastly, if your unit still shows that the filter is dirty after replacement, a filter reset is required to restart the countdown timer. You can find simple step-by-step instructions on how to do this in your user manual.

Love the product. Aesthetics and functionality are great. Customer service sucks! Entered VAT number when purchasing and it did not appear in the final invoice. Emailed supplier and never got a response.

Meaco Arete Two 12L dehumidifier
After coming across the Meaco range of dehumidifiers from YouTube I looked around for local South African suppliers and found Solenco online.
After seeing that our home humidities remained stubbornly high despite the change of season, I decided to purchase a Meaco Arete Two 12L dehumidifier from Solenco. It took less than a week from order to receipt of the machine, with status updates provided along the way.
It is very early still, but we have no condensation on our windows for the first time since moving to our new home, the air purity is noticeably better and electrical consumption is negligible. Hopefully it stays this way.
I am quite happy with Soleco's prompt handling of my order and have already recommended them.

Delivery was ahead of schedule
Delivery was ahead of schedule, found that to be amazing service.
The device is a little wonder, and in two days of running it, approximately 15 litres of moisture was removed from my apartment.
Also the personal acknowledgement from staff and management blew me away.
