Beware that the .co.uk website is deliberately misleading. Goods are shipped from Australia and the delivery times are a fiction. The customer service team have no information and are more frustrating than useful. I have been left significantly out of pocket, with no goods and (according to them) no recourse.

Website has a uk address on it for an industrial estate, so it’s fair to think the item will be coming from the uk. Especialy with the website being Uk as well!!

Just shipping gets updated and it’s from Australia! I don’t mind waiting for products but I have a good carbon footprint and things like this ruin it.

The website is not clear about this unless you go digging / googling

So I consider it deceitful.

Product arrived and is a nice quality item, just a shame they can’t be shipped and stored in the countries they claim to be in.

Solbari UK site - Delayed Delivery /Product ordered 30 June 2025.
Unfortunately, it was NOT stated that the arrival / delivery would take such a long time 8-10 days, and that the delivery was being transported from Australia! This information is VITAL, especially as it states delivery by Royal Mail.
Inconvenient delivery and disappointing…
Regret to say, after enquiry to Customer service was told delivery is expected in 8-10 days. Estimated arrival too late for my use and inconvenient as I am travelling before it arrives -It will arrive too late. I am very disappointed with this service. Have to purchase an alternative.

The quality seems good, but returning an item is poorly organised. They deduct a £4.95 "handling fee" and charge you a flat rate of £5.95 for postal services. This is ridiculous and disincentives returns, for sure, but it also puts me off dealing with this brand in the future.

Do not be deceived by the U.K. website domain - This company is based in Australia, not the U.K. This fact is hidden behind several clicks over in the FAQ section - who thinks to check the company is not being forthright by cruising the entire website to learn what should be made clear on the front pages? As such it is a waste of money using “express delivery” like I did - it still took 10 days (7 1/2 business days) from the date of ordering and yet the customer service agent Gemini found a way of counting the days in a way that denied me a refund of the “express shipping fee”. She was very friendly and prompt in the replies to my emails but her decision lost the company a customer and I returned the goods. The quality of the products are well made but I would not recommend buying from Solbari until a warehouse of merchandise is housed in the U.K. I am giving 3 stars - one for the quality of the products; one for the prompt replies to my emails and an extra star in the rating for how easy it was to process the refund.

Totally agree with the poor rating for this company, they shouldn't have the UK website as not UK based, and the delivery time scale is ridiculous, they blame others for their short coming, I have a right as a consumer which they ignore, I can cancel an order and they just refuse and then ignore you when you request to return.

Like many people who have left reviews I hadn’t realised my order was being despatched from Australia so I was a little surprised when I checked the online tracking details and then mildly concerned by some of the remarks here on Trustpilot. But when the updated details gradually appeared to progress through the delivery stages I was more reassured, even fascinated as I followed the ‘trail’. My order, two large-sized and good-fitting long sleeved shirts, have just been delivered after 8 working days, which I have no complaint about considering how far they had to travel. So my message is ‘hold your nerve’! I didn’t realise there was a 10% discount on your first order, which I failed to apply, so I might try and claim that retrospectively if I get a moment. I would certainly consider ordering again in the future.

For an upcoming trip, I knew I would benefit from looking at SPF clothing and was very pleased to find a UK site offering these. I happily made my order, unaware that these were not being supplied from the UK. As a TikTok shopper, I am quite savvy that drop shipping happens more and more internationally and, in fairness the niche products being offered here are perhaps not in the highest demand yet domestically. These did take a while to arrive but I had left a good window ahead of my trip for this not to be an issue. The products themselves are fantastic and well worth the investment, protecting me well in the Caribbean sunshine. However I would expect that there will be customers like myself naively expecting a UK domain to mean UK based. That said I would recommend this company and would be looking to future purchases now I understand this arrangement i.e. order in plenty time!

I had no issues with the delivery, despite of the many complaints about the delivery to the UK. I have ordered a small/medium size hat that seems slightly big on my head. However, the hat is adjustable and I have a small head. So I have no complaints about that.
The quality it seems good. I have bought for a holiday in Egypt so I will update my review on my return.
My only issue is about the colour because on the website the hat appears to be slightly lighter than the one delivered to me.

I was worried about my order after checking Trustpilot reviews (while waiting for delivery), so I feel like it's important to share my positive experience.
I ordered a hat on 28 November and it was delivered on 12 December. That's exactly 10 business days and the website says 6-10 business days.
I didn't need to contact customer service, so I can't comment on that aspect.
I'd give 5 stars if the company offered free UK returns, however I also appreciate why they wouldn't do that and I do think free returns can lead to waste and pollution. They make it clear they are based in AUS.
The quality of the hat seems really good - if anything changes with wear I will update the review.

Terrible customer service experience. Had an enquiry about replacing an item I lost.

Received a terse 2 line reply shutting me down with zero attempt to help.

Wish I'd read the reviews before using this awful company. Lesson learned.

as I read in other reviews, it is clear it comes all the way from Australia ONLY at the last minute when paying!
My order has so far been more than the expected delivery times, and there is no sign of it.
It has been 7 days since the tracking shows : International transit (and there are many steps to come ...) Also the fact that 2 items (not that light) weighs 0.3 Kg makes me question the quality.

I am leaving for a long trip this Saturday (today is Thursday).
if it doesn´t come before that I will need someone here to send it back for me, which is a hassle already I really hope for your sake the return will go smoothly.
Big mistakes not to have looked at reviews here, looks like the reviews on their web are false or selective. Also the company doesn't answer any of the complaints here, it seems they are not interested or it´s just a scam!
I have sent several emails but no answer at all! this company should be flagged. If you think you will get away with this Solbari, think again...

I ordered a sun-protection cardi. I'm quite tall so ordered a large, but the sleeve length doesn't match the proportions. The thumbhole placing in the sleeves is ridiculously high up - putting my thumbs in pulls on the sleeve and makes me sore in a short time. They don't seem to take account of this for different size. Given that a lot of melanoma sufferers need this protection for their hands and it's an expensive brand, they need to do better. Also the order took ages to post with poor interim communication

Absolutely FAULTLESS way above average sun protection hats and sunbrella. Customer service, quick delivery and prices faultless and reasonable. Sizing advice perfect, as are (true to colours on website) colour choices. Essential intelligent products for climate change induced fierce heatwaves in UK, now too recurrent - true sun protection of this quality non existent in UK high street shops. Save Your Skin with Solbari. HIGHLY recommended in every sense.

Their clothes sizing and shopping experience is not for UK. their size recommendation was Large, which I had to change to Medium and even that was very large.

Their T&C is against UK distance selling regulation i.e. if you exchanged an item once to a different size, you cant return it back if it doesn't fit, as per their policy.

Also, even for exchange, one has to pay for return shipping. wasting lot of money for exchanging product which is not suitable.

Great shopping experience. Despite goods delivered from Australia items shipped very quick (5 working days!). Easy return process as well. High quality products. Recommended company!

I have a UV allergy and struggle to find clothes that provide protection but keep you cool in hot weather. Solbari provides both, every time I have ordered from them delivery has been amazingly quick despite travelling from the other side of the world.
