I returned a sweater coat purchased Dec 19, 2025 because it was too small. I filled out all the forms as directed online, boxed the coat and paid $54 in postage to mail it back. Three months later I received the box I had mailed, beaten up and labelled “return to sender” . It was EMPTY but inside was my paperwork and a copy of the original sale receipt. No refund!

This place is a scam! If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Like all the other reviews, poor quality merchandise, sizes are waaaay too small, like by more than 2 sizes too small. Despite having an address and phone # in New York, you will be required to pay for shipping back to ITALY. Shipping will cost almost as much as the merchandise you are returning. Stay as far away from Axelross as you can.

I ordered a red coat. They sent me a purple coat twice.

I purchased a Montaro Quilted Jacket in black XL on December 15, 2025. My package arrived with a jacket that was a Medium at best. I reached out to representatives via email and was told about a "unique size-tagging system where the label inside the garment may show a larger number than expected" AND then I was told to mail back the package AT MY OWN EXPENSE in order for the item to be inspected...the cost of the shipping? triple the cost of the item. Ludacris.

Ordered the Mason Cashmere Cardigan in a large. It was labeled large but is really a small/medium. Asked to return it and was given an address in Italy and would have to pay $300 to return the item! Their "office" is in New York, but with a California phone number. This ships from China! Not worth the hassle.

I ordered a medium burgundy 100% Wool Fairmont coat.

I received an XL dark plum 70% polyester 30% wool coat.

No response for refund.

The worst. The garment was too small. I tried to return it and they want to charge $70 return fee for a $100 garment! The worst!

Can I give no star? It’s a scam ! I very very poor fabric. Someone gifted my husband a very nice cashmere jumper. I check the site and place an order. Same site/company (I thought ) then when I received my order I felt rubbed! The trench coat fabric is very poor!!! I tried to email them but no reply yet.

I purchased Axel & Ross’ Jackson Cashmere Cardigan after first emailing customer service to confirm whether the sweater ran true to size. I was told explicitly that it did, so I ordered my normal size. This was an important factor, as their return policy requires customers to pay return shipping.

The website states that Axel & Ross partners with carriers such as USPS, DHL, and UPS, and that reliable tracking is provided at every stage. In practice, this was not the case. I received no shipping updates for over two weeks, and multiple inquiries to customer service produced contradictory information about the order’s status. I was eventually given a tracking number from an Asian carrier not listed on their site, which provided no usable tracking information.

When I contacted a manager, responsibility was placed entirely on the shipper, with no remedy offered. I asked for a clear date at which the order would be considered lost and refunded, but that question was ignored and I received no further response.

Nearly a month later, the sweater arrived stuffed into my mailbox. It was at least a full size smaller than indicated on the tag and does not appear to be cashmere as described.

Based on my experience with inaccurate product information, unclear shipping practices, and unresponsive management, I would caution others to be very careful before purchasing from this retailer.

Saw and IG ad and took a chance. Don’t do what I did.

Poor fitting and poor quality clothing took 3+ weeks to arrive from China. I attempted to return both items and learns I needed to ship to Italy (WHY????). The shipping cost was $300 for 2 $100 sweaters. The customer service team is the one person and they leaned on their “policy”. The whole things has the feel of a complete scam.

I’m out $200 bucks but if you read this review, it’s not too late for you.

I totally agree with all other reviews of this company. Scammers. I'm 80 years old, they sent me size XS after I ordered XXXL. I got the run around, offered a refund of $50 so I’d still be out $50 because of shipping costs. Poor quality material.

We purchased two cashmere coats from this company, both in size 4XL. We expected them to be slightly oversized, which would have been suitable, as my husband intended to wear a thick jumper underneath.

The delivery time was excessively long, and when the items finally arrived, we were extremely disappointed by the sizing. Despite being labelled 4XL, the coat fit me, and I wear a female UK size 14.

As for the quality, it is very poor and certainly not cashmere as advertised. The material feels cheap and poorly made.

Overall, this was a very disappointing purchase. I would not recommend buying from this company.

I buy a coat and follow the size chart the company write. The coat arrived and surprise is too small. The cost of the sending process cost moore that the price of the coat. The company make sure you not want to do this. I lost 150$ to this shiity company

Be aware that the items can Not be refund since you need to ship it back in Italy.
An absolute Scam

The size is so wrong so small. I got a Large and it was actually Small. I tried to return it and the address was in Italy. It cost 170 so I just gave up.

Long delivery time to receive a nice Cardigan that is supposed to be in Cashmere. It is not Cashmere, the L size looks like XS - impossible to wear. Complex return policy to the USA for a EU based consumer is discouraging. Bad customer service

Their hassle-free return process is extraordinarily tedious, and you have to pay to return anything to Italy, so it's probably unlikely that any refund will be more than the shipping cost. I had a $119 refund request, but the shipping cost was more than twice that amount, so I gave the sweater to charity. Their quality is good, but I won't buy anything from them again.

Courduroy jacket i ordered my husband was too small (he is always a medium) and quality disappointing (better at walmart). The only return option requires that you send item to Italy (which cost approximately $50). I personally would never shop here again.

I wish I had seen the other reviews before purchasing from them. The sizes run extremely small and I just found out that I have to return it at my expense to Italy. The website and product details are enticing, but beware of how terrible customer service and returns are overall. Definitely learned my lesson.

Their website is glossy and posh with contact information in New York. But their "clothing" ships from China. I placed an order on the 2nd. Ten days later...the thing hasn't even left Asia !!
