Rory has done a great job bird proofing our panels (we have 9). He was very efficient from start to finish. Rory gave us a quote on the same day we've approached him explaining everything we needed to know. Came within 10 days to do the job. Charged a reasonable price for the work he's done with no additional cost after he completed the job. Explained the process and what kind of materials he was using. I found Rory online and was impressed by the positive reviews but concerned he wouldn't cover as far as Hertfordshire so emailed him to enquire. He rang me straight away and we had a great chat about our situation and how he could help. We'd been putting off finding a solution to our pigeon problem due to being convinced it would be unaffordable, so were amazed at the price quoted. Obviously because Rory uses ropes and ladders without scaffolding, it means you're mainly paying for his expertise and time. We managed to book him in the following week and the whole thing took less than 4 hours from arrival to departure. Rory checked for nests, evicted the pigeons and cleaned the gutters before fitting the wire mesh. Ten minutes later we had some very confused pigeons as they were unable to regain entry! Rory was just great from start to finish. Responded the same day to my request for a quote. Gave me a date which was which was less than two weeks ahead. When he fitted the protection he explained everything he was doing at each stage very clearly and took photos of the roof/panels before and after his work. He worked around all the pots and plant at the side of my house without any trouble and cleared up all the mess from the old nests afterwards.

Our solar panels came with bird protection, but within 3 years it had completely failed and our roof was covered in pigeons. Thank again to Rory for being flexible and able to revisit at the same time as the panel installers when I they needed to come back and modify the setup.
It was reassuring to know the bird protection was maintained with no opportunity for the birds to find a way back in before the defences were back in place.
Even better Rory used his drone to provide me with an all round video view from the air to see the installation was as secure and tidy from the sides I would not see (a usefully tool he can use to look at roofs without access).

As my last review, very impressed with the workmanship and would encourage anyone without protection on their panels to give Rory a call.
