They sent a faulty product out. I have contacted them many times to ask for a replacement to be sent out. Had one response that offered us 40% off. However all we wanted was a working product as that is what we paid for.

Took much longer than it stated to arrive was nothing like the size it showed online didn’t state it was coming from china either wish to complain I would like it refunded and as product was not as described therefore I expect it to be refunded without having to pay for return

I’ve had the worst experience with this company. I purchased a white dish mat £43.95, not what I consider a cheap purchase for a dish mat! It took over 3-4 weeks to arrive. I was sent a GREY dish mat instead of white.
I contacted solar energy lighting and explained that I received wrong colour. They replied back asking for a photograph of the dish mat! I sent a photograph back. It took a few weeks and a lot of e-mails from myself asking for a reply to when they would either send the right coloured dish mat (white) or give me a full refund.
Eventually they replied saying the dish mat they sent me was white! NO WAY! It was GREY! What a cop out!
I asked for a full refund. Im still waiting, another 2 weeks for a reply for my refund after sending more e-mails! DO not purchase anything from this company.

Great item speedy delivery

Innovative product but delivery process very protracted due to delays in the courier picking up the parcel in China, order placed 26/01/2026, eventually arrived 12/02/2026.
Customer support (Lilly) helpful but took longer to respond than I would have liked.

kein Schweizer Produkt, die LED Lampe kam von China. Somit Preis viel zu teuer für das Produkt. Die Lampe lässt sich nicht ausschalten, wenn man auf off Schalter drückt. Somit benötigt die Lampe unnötig Strom, was überhaupt nicht sinnvoll ist und nicht dem Standard der Schweiz betrifft. Finger davon.

Ordering was very easy but took very 2 weeks for delivery. Installation was simple but operation was a little tricky as the instructions were so small I had to get a magnifying glass to read them. It does have a good light output, let’s see how long it lasts. Overall, pleased so far.

I ordered cutting boards from energysolarlighting.com, and the experience has been extremely disappointing. The package arrived from China in terrible condition — the box was crushed, torn, and taped up multiple times. The product inside was also damaged and completely unusable.

I contacted the company immediately and sent photos of both the damaged box and the damaged product. Their response was to offer either a 30% partial refund if I kept the unusable item, or I could return it to a UK address at my own expense and wait for another shipment from China. Since this was meant to be a Christmas gift and the issue occurred on December 15th, I chose the partial refund.

It has now been two months, and I still have not received the refund. I’ve emailed them multiple times and used their website’s message form, providing all the necessary information each time. I have not received a single reply since their initial offer.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. Poor product quality, poor packaging, and no follow‑through on their promised refund.

This is not a UK based company. They are not able to deliver in 24 hours as some sponsored links suggest. The products are crap. It’s a China based company masquerading as UK based. Do not buy from here. Customer service is a shocker. Put this company down as akin to a scam.

AVOID SOLARENERGYLIGHTS LIKE THE PLAGUE. I purchased four wall outlet night lights for $50 each, on sale down from $100. I was expecting a decent product at this price point, so was unpleasantly surprised when they arrived from China a month after purchase. They were plastic, felt cheap and were connected to an adaptor to fit Australian wall outlets, so stuck out an extra inch than the product image displayed. Next the return process, while Solar energy were quick to reply and confirm they were happy for them to be returned, I’ve heard nothing back from them despite them receiving the product 3 weeks ago. I emailed them again three days ago in case they’ve ’been busy’, still no reply. It cost me $50 to return post them to the UK. Overall, $50 lost and $200 yet to be refunded.

Products are cheap in quality, poorly made and with weak and disappointing light output. Remote is pointless. I ordered upgraded batteries but can't see how/where they were provided.

Lights were cheap looking so I asked for a refund . Had a polite email back from Sebastian immediately offering a 20% discount if I keep the lights . I said no and returned them and emailed proof postage. I have contacted them several time since to see where the refund is. No reply. Scoundrels

This is not a UK company. Actually in China using UK web address. Received solar light that is very flimsy and does not charge. Absolute rubbish. Complete waste of £42.

Please do not go near this company. I paid £301 for two items on 16th Dec 2025, my order has not even been processed!!!! They've literally just stolen my money. I've been emailing every day since 21st Dec looking for a refund, not one reply. I wish I'd read the reviews here before going near them. I'm sick to my stomach, such a scam of a company. I've never experienced anything like this before

Edited 8/2/26 - just wanted to update to be fair to this company, two weeks ago I received a full refund and an apology for issues with shipment.

The website is completely disingenuous making every effort to trick UK consumers that they are a UK company and that items are dispatched from within the UK. That is NOT the case! I can't comment on the quality of the products as they are still in China! Also after reading the website fully I am only hopeful of a refund if the item is lost in transit as I paid using PayPal! A single sentence hidden on their website states losses or damage in transit are not our responsibility. Once the package is handed to the courier it is 'out of our hands'! I certainly wouldn't have ordered if I'd realised items were coming from China, particularly as the cost of the items wasn't particularly cheap.

It’s been 10 days and still no news, on the website it said 3 to 5 days. I don’t trust this company.

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Liars as not UK based but China.
Item took forever to arrive and then was scratched and sub standard!
Tried to return but being completely ignored and no reply to over 20 emails.
I do however keep getting emails asking for my review and if I want to buy anything!

Ordered my product from what i considered a UK Co all went well got my tracking number told product was on its way, 3 weeks went by no lights got an e-mail to say this product was out of stock checked company reviews realised this was common and the reviews were bad, asked for my money back amazingly in fairness i did get my money back, too much messing around save yourself the hassle just go to Amazon.
