I had to add a review because I saw someone recently updated theirs to 3/5. I can only say that this is massively overrating the website. It can not be stated enough that the site is about 1% as useful as it was before being bought and taken over. Pretty much every function you'd like is now either missing or severaly worse. Take the simple calender function where you used to be able to easily see what matches are on a date, whereas now it's hard to even see three days ahead without the site breaking/lagging. Absolutely insane own goal in how they destroyed what was the best site for football results.

I last gave soccerway 1/5 because, after their last interface update, all the useful data seemed to disappear, and the site seemed to be geared more to casual users rather than deep analysis.

I'm bumping their score up to 3/5 because, after much searching, they still have that 'deep analysis' data, but it's buried under a tonne of clicks. The interface is appalling, but the data is there, so 3/5 it is.

Was very good
Now trash , every update is a nightmare .
Removed "+" which leads to goal scorers on a click , now there's a popup.
Slow.
Full of gambling ads.
Players are set in random positions in Game summary.
Some links are unclickable.
Too much about betting.
Ghost company without a contact link.
Develops useless leagues (Aruba league detailed in the home page , come on).
Each update is worse than the last. Bad updates are a disease, dont understand how a company can take bad decisions the one after the other

They just destroyed it and it breaks my heart, as it was an AMAZING service for football fans around the world. So, so sad.

uk.soccerway was awesome but it's now just useless. Pointless, even. Hard to imagine how the owners/operators could implement the recent changes to the site and consider it an improvement.

All the functionality and features that made uk.soccerway special have been stripped out and it's now just a clone of those football websites operated by the betting companies (in fact, a keen eye will notice it's a dead ringer for flashscore now...).

I won't be using it again - not out protest or high-minded principles, rather it's now just utterly useless and has nothing to offer. It's like a pub with no booze.

Soccerway was once the most important websites related to football fixtures. With the newest update and loosing of the matchcalender soccerway is compleatly useless now. Why you destroyed a maybe perfect site???

Ive used this site for years but the latest update has killed it for me.

The site is now counter-intuitive and looks to me as though its a deliberate attempt to kill it off for good.

Data/stats used to be easy to find but now are either hidden or simply removed.

Ive given this a score of 1 but honestly after what the site was like previously, my score now would be -10

Embarrassing update, AVOID!!

I held off this review for months in the hope that the problems would be rectified. They have not been. Very frustrating to see a fantastic resource effectively destroyed. Perhaps taken over by a rival and sabotaged on purpose?

Horrible changes. I’m desperately trying to find another site that had all the information that Soccer way used to have, and more importantly, you could navigate very quickly too. I mean, how can they mess up the tables? But they did. There might be a division two or three team that I follow But it’s not impossible figuring out how to get there in a few easy steps.
I don’t know how many people I’ve recommended Soccer way to in the past 10 to 15 years. And unfortunately, I recommend that they not use it, if nothing else other than screwing around with a great product. Very disappointing.

Why did they change the format of the website?? It was a great site with easy to access information (previous match scores directly from the standigs; goal minutes directly from the general page of a league), now it has become just like all the others or even worse in some features. Hope they will return to the old version because it is almost useless as it is now.

You really changed the best statistic site to one of the worst wtf. at least bring the option to change layout themes. its so bad now i cant use it anymore

WHO PAID TO TAKE DECISIONS TO CHANGE SOCCERWAY! Its embarrashing!

This has gone from a great site that i visited regularly to one that is now almost impossible to use.
Seems like done by someone with no football understanding. The most critical focus in European football is the pyramid. No issue in the old site to start at English premier league and then delve deeper seamlessly to step 8. In the new site, it is not possible to do this and instead there is an almost random list of leagues and cups to select from. A total disaster!

It was a logical and informative perfection, the old site. Full of easy reachable excellent practical information
What they have done now with it is absolutely awful. As a professional sports journalist, it used to be by far the most used website for anything football related. Now its a tragedy. Such a shame.

I use to use Soccerway all the time but it is now too faulty to use. Now incredibly slow with missing data and full of bugs, often getting ERROR when going to a fixture

I have used the out site for 20 years !! packed with information easy to use very simple on the eye .The new site seems to be put together by Steve Wonder no cohesion no colour contrast !! WHY WHY when its not broken why fix it !! Definitely will NOT be using the site !!

Go back to the old version immediately.

It's very badly wrong! It should close or re-write the software; better still bring the old one back.
