I’ve bought smokin brothers for years and purchased some for friends to celebrate being able to have smoked fish again post pregnancy. They absolutely loved it! Taste and quality are next level!

Smokin' Brothers is an artisan smokehouse in the Cotswolds, founded by three Italian friends and supplying premium smoked salmon to high end restaurants restaurants including Michelin starred, independent delis, and home customers across the UK. We smoke responsibly farmed Scottish salmon from Wester Ross, and also offer an organic range; both salmon are raised to strict welfare, 100% natural feed, and the highest environmental standards. Every side is hand-cured, slow-smoked over juniper, beech and oak, and hand-trimmed in our Cotswolds smokehouse. Expensive but delicious smoked salmon. On this occasion my confusion and misunderstanding about my order was dealt with promptly and politely.

Every part
Every part. Ordering was easy. Delivery fast and great communication throughout. Best of all was the product itself. Totally blew me away and far exceeded expectations. The Pate was the best I have ever tasted, and the Salmon was better than that I have had in some very high end Sushi restaurants!

Double standards?
The salmon tastes quite good, however I always get bruised salmon and had some scales still on this one (on the exposed fresh salmon flesh) doubtful that would be sent to the top London establishments they supply !

We are an artisan hand-made manufacturer business, while we do our best to exeptional quality at all times, sometimes we might miss some scales, however if you believe we have not delivered the quality you expect please get in touch directly to us, our priority is to make sure we deliver the best quality and if that's not the case, we will make it up to you!
The quality of the fish was superb
The quality of the fish was superb and I particularly liked the sashimi style cut. The texture of the fish was excellent.
Unfortunately for my personal preference it was a little too "smokey" tasting. Had it been a little less then the fabulous salmon taste would have shone through better and it would have been almost the perfect smoked salmon.
10/10 for the packaging - loved the trays.

Thank you for the wonderful words Cara, Smokiness is very subjective, some people appreciate it a little more smoky others little less smoky, in the UK our smoked salmon is among the most delicate, however I appreciate your feedback! Hopefully next time you will order from us we will make the 5/5 :)

A while ago I left a review bemoaning the poor quality of the outer packaging used by Smokin Bros when they sent out to me some packs of their excellent smoked salmon.
It arrived rolled up in a plastic bag of some description. It didn't shout premium; quite the reverse. And even though a box is just a box, the inner packaging of the smoked salmon itself was crushed and bent out of shape .
It didn't change the taste of the smoked salmon, but the experience did leave a bit of a bitter taste in the mouth.
Well I ordered some more smoked salmon last week, and it turned up in a very smart box. Much more Gymkhana and Dukeshill.
The salmon itself tasted just the same, but somehow I felt better about it.
I am not suggesting in any way that I was responsible for the change. I feel sure you received many similar comments from buyers. But, anyway, well done.
Better get some more for the weekend.

Probably the best smoked salmon on this side of the pond! Delicious, buttery, not too salty, not sweet at all, just melts in your mouth salmon! Also, no stray bones, or anything funky. Customer service was amazing too. I want this delivered to me every week!

Our patè it's surely less cheesy compared to the market standard, we make it freshly every week with lots of fresh herbs and lemon zest, and most of all, lots of salmon! It's a recipe different from big industries that use lots of cream and cheap ingredients for bigger margin and long life. We understand if it's not your favourite, we all have different personal taste! For what it regards the caviar, it isn't our personal production, we buy our caviar from our friends at Exmoor, we'd love to know what it is you didn't like about it please
