Went to order a camera today. Their website would infer they have it in stock. They don't. I noticed that the funds hadn't left my credit card so called them to check. They then said they don't hold it in stock.

I can't find their company number or any other info to work out where they are based etc. The website is a trick to infer they are UK based but when I called today it was quite evident they aren't based in the UK.

Buyer beware....

Bought a Tamron 150-600 zoom lens, price was the best on the net that I could find and as I have used SLRHut before I knew I could trust them. Delivery was good with the item well package, chuffed with my new aquasition.

There was confusion initially regarding my order. SLR HUT replied, explained why the problem occurred and my order was filled.
The camera ordered along with many extras included met with my complete satisfaction.
I am pleased to post a positive review of SLR HUT.

Imagine, you found a 899 pound deal for camera. You buy it and get a confirmation with Invoice, all cool you are excited, the next day you buy a cage and a fan for this new camera costing 150 to be ready straight away.

5 days after purchase, SLR hut cancels your order and says that camera is out of stock and they cant process your payment. At the same time they list EXACTLY THE SAME CAMERA for 1279 pounds.

After you try to contact support, they ghost you.

Now i have cage and fan but no camera ... because these cowboys just decide to make me buy the same product for 350 pounds more, i wasted my time and have to return 150 worth of useless stock making other business suffer from their incompetence.

I have never experienced such a greedy business ever and will make sure that every single of my 100k subs will know about the experience. I hope that 300 pounds are more valuable to you than thousands of potentials customers :) I advise everyone to look at proper and more reputable stores like MPB or Wex who commit to products they sell.

Because it was purchased for an eightieth birthday in December SLRHUT UK extended the warrantee for me.

All arrived safely and a day earlier than expected. A good starting bundle for someone just getting into photography.

Atrocious Service.
Item arrived but was faulty.
Could not get in touch with the London office, no replies to phone or email.
London office is just a black door on the street.
USA office has not contact details.
Not a UK company
No UK warranty, thus cannot get repaired.
Company made me pay £41.50 to return to USA
Still not communicating with me.
No refund received , thus I have lost £750 and have no camera.
BANK INVESTIGATING.
Steer well clear of this company if you have a problem, and read the small print carefully.

Sigma art 135 at the best price anywhere ( less than some are asking for used!) can seem to good to be true but SLR hut have been around for years and are a real company who answer the phone.
Product arrived in a week by FedEx, obviously it is a grey import but manufacturers warrantys in the UK are often worse than that provded by SLR hut. Also none of the dozens of lenses I have bought over the last 20 years have gone wrong!

Great price for exactly the camera I wanted. Speedy delivery and updates so I knew when it would arrive.

Item arrived, but clearly the box had been opened which i wouldnt expect from a 'new' item. There were missing contents the hand strap and the battery charger was missing. I contacted customer service afew days ago and they said they would get back to me. I havnt heard from or been able to get in contact with them since. No reply to my emails and their voicemail inbox is full. I will avoid this company in thefuture particularly after reading similar reviews.

Purchased a 2024 MacBook Air £899. Was incredibly worried I was going to be scammed, due to the price. As a rule, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Took a gamble, it arrived within a week, brand new, boxed, perfect condition. Had to purchase a British plug as came with American, hardly an inconvenience. Extremely happy with purchase.

I had my eye on a few cameras and finally decided to buy a Sony A7C R, so I had a good look around at what was on offer from different retailers, online and in-store.

I saw that SLRHut had the camera I wanted, brand new, for £600 less than every other retailer, and £300 less than the best used A7C R on eBay!

I thought there had to be a catch... but there wasn't. So, I checked out a load of reviews about SLRHut and was surprised to see many had good experiences when buying from them... So I decided to take a chance...

All I can say is that I am extremely happy that I took a chance. I paid extra for express delivery and it arrived in 3 days. All packaged well and exactly what I ordered. A brand new Sony A7C R for £600 less than anywhere else!!

I highly recommend SLRHut and I will be buying from them again very soon!

Ordered Sony Alpha A7R V and lens. Both arrived within 7 days. Well packaged and able to track via FedEx from the US.

It’s important to note that this is not a UK based company. It’s misleading with the phone numbers and emails.

I’m a business and claim VAT back - this is not possible with this company.

I cancelled my order once this was found out but only knew because I hadn’t received confirmation 24 hours after placing the order. I was told that it would take upto 5-7 days to refund me. Order total £3339

Also, please do read the companies small print. Lots of regulations, cost to return items, possible delays in delivery etc etc.

All in all, it’s not clear that this company is not governed by UK stat rights.

I’m also unsure how warranties hold up when bought offshore.

These items are basically imports, hence the cheaper price.
