So easy to use. The app is very user friendly and allows you to add receipts quickly and easily. The process at the airport using your invoice is also very simple and quick. Highly recommend doing this.

Lots of places in Paris didn't understand what I was asking so missed out on tax back. However, this was a bonus for us. Easy to scan the arcade at Le Shuttle. Thank you. Less than 24 hours to receive - exceptional!

Mon bordereau avait été validé manuellement par le douanier et mon remboursement était en cours.
Une semaine plus tard, SkipTax me demande une photo du produit. Je demande une explication et mon compte est ensuite banni, ce qui m’empêche justement d’envoyer la photo demandée.
E-mail envoyé le 7 août, relance le 11 août : aucune réponse, compte toujours bloqué et aucun remboursement.
Je conseille donc aux futurs clients d’être très prudents avant de confier leur détaxe à SkipTax tant que ce type de situation n’est pas rapidement résolu.
J’espère que SkipTax va enfin intervenir, rétablir mon accès et procéder au remboursement.

the app had clear instructions and the whole process was very smooth and efficient. It was nice to allow photo-taking of the receipts instead of having to queue up for tax refund procedures.

Overall very good and with the help of retailer Calais Wines to finalise it was straightforward on the website, We did manage to find the customs at the port to have the claim registered although the Pablo machine didn't accept the phone photo of the bar chart but the customs man helped here. The email comms was perfect although not yet received the refund but this is to be expected as we only finished our trip last night !!As yet not sure what refund we will get - we did spend 800E!!

easy, fast. efficient. Exactly how you want a tax refund to be. In many occasions I did not receive the refund due to overcomplicated procedures. This is the way (I am not a Mandalorian, but it is very fitting).

Was confusing at first but really easy to get refunded

I used SkipTax in France for the first time last year and it worked perfectly. This year it worked quite well and I received reimbursement within 24 hrs which was very impressive. A couple of observations - we returned from France by ferry from Cherbourg - the single tax terminal/machine in the passenger terminal at Cherbourg was not working and had apparently been out of commission for some time. It was only after speaking to a number of people that I was advised to go through the initial vehicle checkin but to stop and park up before going through customs and head for the customs office where my SkipTax barcode was scanned and accepted very quickly by the customs team. It would be helpful to have this advice available on the SkipTax app if the tax terminals go out of use. Secondly it is only when you scan your supermarket invoice that you are informed that the digital invoice without your name and c/o SkipTax is included - this is almost impossible to get a supermarket to customise your receipt so all supermarket wine purchases could not be used - the majority of refunds will be for purchases from supermarkets. It is suggested you email or contact the supermarket - I suspect ones chances of getting a supermarket to respond before you leave the country are minimal at best.
In the past one could annotate the receipt with one’s name and c/o SkipTax and this was accepted but now rules have changed so the benefit of SkipTax and other similar apps is greatly reduced.

Je l’utilise depuis plusieurs années et ils se sont bien amélioré par rapport aux débuts. Je ne doute pas qu’il y aura d’autre amélioration au fil du temps. Le fonctionnement est simplifié et cela est grandement apprécié.

Excellent app. This app has progressed so well in the last few years from using it in 2024 and 2026 it’s a big difference. This time I was able to scan all receipts well and generate the barcode and the refund received within 24hrs of scanning the barcode at the terminal.
