my experience with skills college uk was half and half they do what they say they're going to do to a degree,
i got my qualification yes and the tutor was good however, you're told things which mislead you to thinking certain things are possible which are not in my opinion a lot of people are put on these courses purely to maintain funding from the government to keep the company afloat All of my class were from the jobcentre and probation we started as more than 20 and ended with less than 10 people were kept on the course after breaking rules we were told if you broke you would be removed and i was told we were keeping them as we couldn't afford to lose anymore from the course due to pass rates and funding absolute joke and of course now i have my qualification but can i get a job in the industry? no because i don't drive and cant afford to learn after being told all the way through being a driver wasn't a necessity well it is and now i have a qualification i cant use and i feel i have wasted 8 weeks of my life.

Another joke giving courses for college to make money did an 8 week course told guaranteed work not had 1 single shift total joke and waste of time

Great online courses and excellent support and service.

I've been running my own small beauty salon for a few years now and we do really well but I have always outsourced my financial administration to someone else, during this time of Covid and lockdown of my business I was unable to fund these additional resources. So I rather used some of my savings and during this time took out a course on financial management which has been so beneficial and wow, what an eye opener. I have actually learnt have to save more now while doing the accounts myself. The material has been so manageable and informative, support is great. I just wanted to say that I have just signed up for a new course - I am so exicted!

I never thought I would be able to study while working full time and having kids but this course allowed me the flexibility to study in my own time without feeling pressure of having to complete material with ridiculous deadlines and add more stress. I hope to do even more courses in the future!

Signed up to do the business management course. I have been in the corporate sphere for a while now and wanted something to improve my all round skills. This course looks perfect. Paid for the course and have received the course material already. Looking forward to getting started and interacting with the tutors.
