Loyalty is valued

One of the few service providers I work with that still values loyalty and where their support staff have the authority and flexibility to make decisions and exceptions to support my business. This can only increase my loyalty to them in return.

Amazing Support from SiteGround

In choosing a hosting company, it's not only about who is the cheapest. it is more importantly about the level of service you receive when you site is down or facing issues. and this is where SiteGround score 10/10. Support is difficult to access

Support is difficult to access.

Had a Malware case reported by SiteGround on one of our websites, with a threat to take our site down if it wasn't rectified within 2 days.

When I opened the report, there was nothing in it and no files containing Malware.

Trying to contact SiteGround Malware support is behind a paywall, even though there was nothing wrong with the site.

Eventually managed to get to an expert on live chat, but not before being sent around the houses by the awful AI and, at each interaction, being upsold services I didn't need.

Once I actually got to a human, the support was spot on. Once through, they saw it was their error, removed the marker the transaction took less than 2 minutes; getting there took an hour.

Do better when your customers have issues, especially when you are the ones who created them.

We are glad to hear that our support team provided the assistance you needed once you were connected to a human expert. Regarding the malware notice, the file flagged was indeed a false positive. Our security systems are designed to be highly sensitive to protect all websites on our servers, and we have since updated our detection rules to ensure this specific file does not trigger further alerts. We understand how a two-day deadline can be stressful, but please be assured that our system always performs a final automated re-scan before any service limitations are applied; as the file was safe, your site was never at risk of being taken down.

We also hear your frustration regarding the time spent navigating our automated systems and service suggestions. While our AI is there to provide quick resources and guidance, it is also designed to provide an option to "Connect to a support representative" when a customer asks to speak with our team. We’re happy that Nikola and Daniel were able to resolve this for you so quickly once you were connected, and we appreciate your patience while resolving this.
