Christmas present 2020 only used it 3 times. Tried to use it recently but now won’t hold its charge even though it’s been on charge for several hours. Absolute waste of money it’s gone in the bin 😡

Absolutely amazing product at such a great affordable price. Not only is there more than one different heat setting but there’s 6 different cool down settings too which is brilliant for creating different kinds of curls with the product!

I love it because you can take it out with you on the go to top up your curls if they drop or if you’re running late! It’s small, compact and portable, who wouldn’t love this product.

Along side all these amazing features you can also take your silk wave curler out and use it as a portable phone charger bank which is just insane to be able to offer such a unique trait from the product itself, you’d be crazy not to buy one for the more than affordable price.

I bought this for £40 direct from Silk-wave. Don't waste your money. I have used it a handful of times and it now no longer holds a charge so I can no longer use it. A charge takes 4 hours and it doesn't work whilst being charged! As the product is more than 6 months old Silkwave have refused to help me even though it has only been used 4/5 times! poor value for money and poor customer service.

I ordered the silkwave hair curler for my niece for Christmas. It was £40. The product is rubbish. It’s very flimsy, it doesn’t work on long hair and it runs out of charge very quickly. This means you do a section of hair and then it needs charging again. The company only offer a 14 day refund so we are stuck with it!!

Amazing ! Didn’t arrive in set time frame so emailed them and got my next day delivery charge refunded by Ivan.
Silkwave arrived yesterday and I’m amazed ! It’s amazing!! Curls galore ! Fab company

This product is the work of the devil! It chewed up my lovely long hair and I had to pull it out. I thought I was actually going to have to cut it. If you value your hair, please avoid this product.

I ordered the product and read reviews afterwards! I was a little sceptical due to the amount of negative reviews. I even emailed customer support and they responded straight away.
I love this product, it works perfect on my hair. Great price great product, would defo recommend.

Disappointed. Doesn't hold charge, as soon as I switch it on it drops 2 bars, do no more than 2 curls and it's dead... such a shame I was really excited when I got this for Christmas.

I’ve had same problems as others, just received my curlers and they won’t charge beyond one bar, keep beeping and turn off after a few seconds. Customer service impossible to get hold of and the website says return faulty goods but no address anywhere that I can see???? Started a dispute claim with PayPal- disgusting product so disappointing

Super fast delivery, excellent product in fact so good my daughter has just ordered one for herself. It’s so easy & safe to use.

I absolutely love this product it’s amazing and I find it so handy and convenient as it’s small enough to fit in your bag I was able to do beautiful curls for my full head of hair and I was so pleased with the result!

Got bought a Silkwave curler for my birthday and having used it only a handful of times, it now beeps constantly and the barrell doesn't heat up.

Contacted Customer Services and was told that as I've had it longer than 14 days, there was nothing they could do. DISGUSTING customer service, very disappointed with this product seeing as it was £40. Clearly a very cheap product with no guarantee. My advice, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

These work good on one side of my hair, however when I do the right side, they pull my hair in and twist it. I had to pull my hair out of it leaving my hair all twisted and not curled. Would not recommend

Only just got it. It won’t charge and I’ve been asked to pay for the return. Don’t buy this product

Absolutely appalled by the product and the customer service. Only used a couple of times but now it won’t hold a charge! Tried charging for various lengths of time including a 2 day charge but when I switch it on it went down to 1 bar within seconds and switched itself off! Not happy in the slightest considering the price I paid for it!
I contacted customer services and received a sarcastic reply from Ivan telling me to try using a different socket and different lead and then a very ‘clever’ suggestion of ‘try charging it overnight’! Do they really think I’m that stupid to not have tried that already! Disgusted with the service and the returns/replacement policy!

Used only a handful of times. Tried to use it tonight. Machine beeping non stop. Barrel turning but no heat at all. Only had it a few months and like I said, barely used. Very disappointed, as looking at site, does not look like I’ll be getting a replacement or money back.

Wouldn’t charge , emailed customer services asking how to return . They wanted me to video myself using the item , 😡why when it didn’t work . Told them I wanted to send back . Eventually I got the link only to be told I’ll be charged for returning .

I absolutely love mine, but now I’ve read these reviews I’m a little concerned. The first one I bought, the barrel stopped working after 3yrs. Can’t fault the customer service and speedy replacement. Hoping it doesn’t break as quick as the other reviews say. Only complaint is the beeping for the count of time needed to be left on the hair. Not good if your using it early in the morning and family are still in bed.

I just purchased this item today but i didnt see these reviews until much later. Now im genuinely worried! Instead of looking forward to its delivery..im dreading it

I ordered with 24 hour delivery, I got confirmation that it had been dispatched but it hasn't arrived. I emailed silk-wave to tell them and got no response. Today I called the number on the website but you can't get through to a person, it just directs you to email in. The Royal Mail tracking code is not recognised by royal mail and the tracking page on silk-waves website says it's waiting for an update from the courier. Do not waste your money on 24 hour delivery, nor a company who wont communicate with you.
